The atmosphere was excellent, and the food was decent; however, the service we received from Erika was highly disappointing. From the moment my boyfriend and I were seated, she barely interacted with us, saying only a handful of words during our entire visit but was noticeably friendly and engaging with the family who was seated after us. We requested refills on our water, but it took multiple reminders and nearly the entire duration of our visit for her to fulfill the request. The only task she completed promptly was delivering our bill. On a positive note, the rest of the staff, particularly the host who told us where we'd sit (the host doesn't seat you, only tell you where you can sit), was exceptionally welcoming and professional.

I was really hoping to have enjoyed this place after seeing it on an episode of unscripted LA.My daughter and I along with my 2 young grandkids wanted to try something different so we ended up here at The Breakfast Club. We are not tourists we live in East Los Angeles Ca.So as soon as we walked in we were seated which was great. The manager handed us our menus and pointed towards the table he wanted us to sit at. I don't know if that is routine to just point and have customers seat themselves but whatever... no big deal! I ordered an eggs benidect and croissant french toast. I also ordered 2 bagels one for each of my grankids and sausage for them. My daughter ordered a sandwich (honestly don't remember which one) and a Matcha drink. Here is food review: my benedict was so plain but after looking at the yelp photos I realized that I should have looked at the yelp photos before ordering it!! It had a thick piece of bacon that I was not expecting but I ate the entire benedict. The kids bagel was ok but the sausage I ordered them was spicy and unfortunately we were not advised of that before ordering it! Next my daughters matcha was so horrible!! We asked to return it!!Lastly and WORST!!! As we finished our brunch and started wrapping it up my grankids who are 2 & 4 years old were sitting in the both just playing with one another and suddenly my grandson pulls his hand up and his finger is bleeding uncontrollably. My daughter and I didn't understand how this happened until my daughter stuck her hand between the cushions in the booth and found a piece of glass. When I came to realize that it wouldn't stop bleeding I then called a manager. The manager Larry was very helpful, he took me and my grandson to the back to get a band-aid (even though it was still bleeding and wouldn't stop). Before taking my grandson and I to the back, the manager ran his hand through the cushion in the both we were seated at and found a handful of glass!! Its unfortunate that this happened!! The restaurant overall did look a bit dirty in the hallway to the restroom the floor and rugs were very dirty!! Cleanliness was about 7/10 anyway the manager did cover our tab of $80 but it really didn't help my grandson with the pain he was having for the remainder of the day into the next day! Again, manager was attentive to the situation but didn't ask for our info or if there was anything else him or his superiors can do to help. We just walked out with a "have a good day" while my grandson continued to cry and cry!!Hoping this place can take accountability and make sure this doesn't happen again!!! I did get photos of our food that I will attach but did not take photos of the incident, the broken glass or the cut because I am not one to stop attending to my crying grandson to snap a photo!! But I did get a picture of him once we were home and he was feeling better!!!Really wished for a better experience here!!!

Food 4 of 5 I enjoyed everything I ordered: the shrimp & grits fire - Fresh fruit was amazing - English muffin was yummy. Besties POV: The burrito was not the best at all. It had way too much egg and not enough meat. Service 5 of 5 Staff was friend and took care of all our needs but it took a while to get our tab at the end - the place was pretty busy. Ambiance 5 of 5Super cute and lots of space indoors and on the rooftop. They have selfie walls that make for great pics. A donut wall- gummy bear wall and fun decor on the rooftop. If you are in Hollywood give them a try. Parking is intense- it's either a garage or street parking which I don't recommend. Cheers

We discovered Breakfast Club about a year ago. You can't miss it as you drive into Hollywood, off Vine St. with the yellow painted fencing and large sign with the Panda. It gives you the immediate impression that it's going to be a fun experience. When you walk in, the décor and smell of freshly baked pastries instantly makes you smile. We've dined at both upstairs and downstairs areas -- we prefer the upstairs. The service does need some work. It has been consistently slow at every visit. The last time we came, our order kept coming out wrong with some items never being served. The food however is fantastic. The large and delicious portions are what keeps us coming back. Our favorites are the shrimp + grits, country fried steak, croissant french toast and pancake platter. We are yet to try the Tomahawk steak + eggs, when we have enough people and large appetites to match. :) We keep hoping for better service, but we're willing to overlook it for now.

New favorite breakfast spot. AMAZING service, the manager Tim is amazing. I am new to the area and he was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast sandwiches are SO good, and you can substitute the bread for whatever pastry you want from the bakery section they have at the front. Cute photo op spots and overall great ambiance. They are super busy on weekends, but the service does not disappoint. Highly recommend

This is a really fun restaurant with great theming. The decor is awesome. I love all of the cereal boxes, it really brings back childhood memories. I started off with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Affogato which is a Italian coffee based dessert with a scoop of vanilla gelato topped with a shot of hot espresso. It was really delicious with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch added to it. For our main course we enjoyed their Club Pizza which is essentially a breakfast pizza. It had candied bacon, cheese, chives, poached egg and maple crust. It had a nice mix of salty and sweet. We shared the pizza between my husband and I and it was very filling. My three year old enjoyed their chia seed pudding, which was also filling for her.The decor here is awesome and definitely a great place to take pictures. I loved their cute sayings on their plates such as "you are by butter half". Their bathrooms were very clean. Their fresh baked good smelt and looked great by the entrance. We were to full to try anything else.

Our first time at The Breakfast Club and we loved it! A group of six celebrating a birthday, we made sure to order a variety of foods. Everything was delicious! Dino was so helpful in recommending popular dishes as well as signature cocktails. The Expresso Martini is a must. Fun vibe and right across from The Pantages Theater. Thank you Dino
