If you're looking for a restaurant that not only serves delicious food but also gives you an experience filled with warmth and love, The Blue Lotus is the place to be! From the moment we walked in, we were transported into a Caribbean paradise--from the vibrant decor to the laid-back island tunes, the vibe was unmatched. You can tell this place is family-owned and operated; it has that welcoming, personal touch you don't often find. Now let's talk about the food--absolutely incredible! I had the grilled salmon, and let me tell you, it was ! Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. But it didn't stop there. The chef personally came out and told us he cooks everything with love, and you could taste it in every bite. My friend had the garlic shrimp and loved it so much that she ordered three to-go orders--yes, three! My other friend ordered the curry shrimp, which was flavorful and rich, and then couldn't resist adding both the oxtails and salmon to-go for later.Every dish was bursting with authentic Caribbean flavors, and the portions were more than generous. It's clear this place puts a lot of heart into every meal they serve. If you're craving a taste of the islands with a side of warmth and hospitality, you NEED to visit The Blue Lotus. Trust me, this is one spot you don't want to miss!

Came with my family on a Sunday. Food was excellent but they definitely need more help to assist their customers. We waited an hour to be seated. Must say, one of the best Belizean restaurants in LA. One place i introduce others to Belizean food. Food never lacks, never disappoints! I just hope they get more help to get their customers in and out.

Having moved from Belize to California, I've always been on the lookout for authentic Belizean food that takes me back to my roots. In the 90s, my mom and I used to frequent the Belizean restaurants on Western Avenue, but now they're scattered across the city, and many don't taste the same anymore.Blue Hole, which I believe was once called Mars, has been a staple for Belizean cuisine for quite some time. This place truly carries the Belizean torch for the best authentic, consistently delicious meals that remind me of home.Food Rating:Sampler Plate (Garnaches, Panades, etc.): 4.5/5 (keep in mind this might get soggy so best to have there)Tamales: 5/5Rice & Beans with Stew Chicken: 4.5/5Bread Pudding: 4.5/5Service: FriendlyCleanliness: GoodI would definitely recommend Blue Hole if you want to try Belizean food for the first time or if you're looking for a great Belizean restaurant that reminds you of back home. It's also perfect for those days when you just don't feel like cooking.

It was my first time trying Belizean/Caribbean food, and it was amazing!! I ordered the fry chicken which came with rice & beans, plantains, and a side salad of choice (I got the potato salad). We also got a side of panades. The chicken was SO juicy that I didn't even need to use the sauce. The fry jacks had a hint of sweetness and surprisingly paired well with the chicken. The panades paired so well with the pickled onions. Everything came out fresh and piping hot.The inside of the restaurant had a "topical" vibe and the music being played was very fitting. The service was amazing, there was only one person working but he made sure to check up on our table several times. It was a long drive to get here but worth it. I will definitely be coming back to try other dishes!

You know when you go to a Caribbean establishment and they're rude? Not here I called my order in and the lady was super nice and professional. She took my order and phone number, told me it would be about 20mins. As soon as I pulled in the parking lot I got a text my order was ready! Whattt watch customer service ok I'm already impressed. I ordered 2 sampler platters, a Stew chicken plate , and added a slice of bread pudding and a powder bun. I only ate the sampler and bread pudding the rest was for my dad. But the sampler was super good and fresh. The bread pudding was something like amazing perfect texture and sweetness. I'll definitely be back for a full meal.

I absolutely love the food from The Blue Hole. My favorite thing on the menu is the garnaches which are a 10/10. This is the only Belizean spot that I really enjoy other than Little Belize, but The Blue Hole is def my #1 pick. I have also tried their oxtails which are tender and yummy. The potatoe salad is also good & I'm very particular with how potatoe salad tastes... it can be a hit or miss and Blue Hole's definitely hits. They also have good customer service which can be hard to come by when visiting Carribean restaurants.

A local gem of a restaurant! This place is named after a location in Belize and serves some of the most authentic belizean food you can find in LA. The owner also serves the food, and imports many of the ingredients from LA itself. Plenty of seating at the restaurant and some of the dishes you must try include the mango drink, the empanadas, and the jerk chicken. All the flavors are very savory but not too salty. You definitely would feel like you're in Belize with the style of food and ambience here!
