came here for the first time to catch up with some girlfriends. It's a very cozy restaurant and has good quality sushi as it tasted pretty fresh to me. I can't recall of what my friends got so I'm sorry that I am unable to add what their order was in the photos. However, I ordered the popcorn shrimp tempura over a spicy tuna roll, and it was pretty tasty! I'm always on a hunt for a sushi place and I definitely think that this is a solid option if you're in the Sherman Oaks area. I didn't get our waiters, but he was very helpful and approachable so we had a great experience! The parking is a little iffy. There's only a few parking spots in the front of the restaurant and the side and it's on a main street near the 101 freeway is quite busy! We went during a more mellow time at around 8 PM on a Tuesday evening and I still had to circle around for a parking spot. I wouldn't let that deter you from trying this place. I'm sure there are other available parking options.

Wow wow wow. How have I driven past this so many a time and never noticed this hidden gem?! Friends and I were searching for sushi happy hours as seems we've already tried them all, and this came up. I noted the plethora of 5 star reviews and had to give it a try. Sooo glad I did!! We came during happy hour and it was mostly empty, which was nice as service was very quick. The server was so nice; she poured our sake for us and warned us to get our order in quickly before a large group was arriving. Everything was so yummy! My fave was the lemon-tail roll, which isn't on happy hour. It was so refreshing. The basic cut rolls and skinny burrito on happy hour were all good. The ahi tuna poke nachos had a lot more nachos than tuna, so I wouldn't get it again. Cute place, not huge but just enough room.

My boyfriend and I walked 3 miles from our house on a Friday evening to get there, so you can imagine we were famished. We started our meal with Sake, Sapporo, and Asahi. We ordered, Albacore Sashimi with crispy onions, Poke Nachos, and popcorn Shrimp on a Spicy Tuna Roll. All were quite delicious. Our waitress was very attentive. She was efficient and took time to answer our questions. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy with nice decor. This is one of our new favorite spots.

GREAT neighborhood sushi spot with a TERRIFIC happy hour! Cozy, little spot on Riverside Drive in Sherman Oaks, The Big Fish was a pleasant surprise. Arrived during their Happy Hour and found great prices on REALLY GOOD food! LOVED the Shrimp and the spicy, garlic edamame!! The "burrito" was really good - - we had ours with spicy tuna instead of fake crab (just ask for it - it's not on the menu!). EVERYONE who works there is LOVELY and kind!! Will go back for more yumminess!!!!

Lively new spot ! This was my our first time going to the restaurant since they opened. It's casual but still classy. We liked the vibe! Great for a date.We loved the special rolls (got the Big Fish and Tuna Lovers and would get them again) and a few sushis. We were really impressed with the Lemom Zest Salmon sushi !! Can't wait to go back and get it again.Our server Ben was fun and quick and made great recommendations.

This place is a GEM! The sushi is so fresh and the flavors are perfect! The service is the second best thing here. The owners and servers are knowledgeable and so friendly. This place is a must try. Get the Langostino roll and the spicy tuna crunchy roll. Doesn't compare to any other places around!
