Chicken heart and gizzard skewers please !!!! $3 a pop but Brad still gets it for me because we can't get it at any of the Thai restaurants nearby. Their mango sticky rice is a lot cheaper than the neighboring Thai restaurants. I think it's $5 for a full serving and the restaurant down the street has the same thing for $11. They have $1 meat skewers and a giant bbq squid that I keep saying I'm going to try next time but I always b line to my usual. Parking is in the 99 cent store lot and make sure to bring cash ! Some vendors there take Venmo.

Open Monday and Tuesdays 5-9pm near the 99 cents store. Thai tea ($4), pad Thai ($10), khao soi (thai curry soup; $10), papaya salad ($10), skewers ($10). There's a handful of stands and it's all cash only and it's usually priced easily (mainly $10). I loooooved the khao soi. I wasn't a fan of papaya salad, which usually I am (very fishy and they add shelled crab for flavor). The pad Thai was also pretty basic. For all of the food we got, my share was $24 and I left feeling stuffed! Would come back again.

3 stars for the food, only. Most stalls accept zelle & venmo. Most of the items I purchased was lacking the authentic Thai (north, central, & south) flavor and/or textures. I was very disappointed. 1. Pad thai, $12: 27minutes wait. Mushy noodles with a slightly sweet & sour flavor. Had some egg, bean sprouts, & tofu. 3/10.2. Octopus, $15 for small & $20 for the "large." don't be fooled, the buttom of the bowls are filled with shredded cabbage. Good chew and green sauce has all the flavor. 8/10.3. Thai sausage, $10 for 3. Sour & filled with rice. Very minimal meat, if any. 1/10 for me.4. Papaya salad, Thai style for $10 ($15 if you want to add shrimp or octopus). Papaya was pre shredded & very thick! Looks like it was shredded wịth a mandolin. Flavor was so sweet. Did they forget the lime & tamarind? Lacking fish sauce or any umami flavoring. Huge disappointment. 3/105. Boat noodle, $12. Not bad but nothing to rave about. Pass. 4/10.

not sure what the name of the vendor was that was selling these beautiful coconut jellies but they were so pretty! taste isn't any different from a standard asian jello, but 5/5 for taste and presentation. i also had pork skewers from one vendor that are freshly grilled to order (5/5) - super good, papaya salad from another (3.8/5) - solid but papaya were a little bitter but liked how you can add seafood into it, & seafood pad thai (4/5) - pretty good! to go to this thai night market, you park in the side parking lot & if it's under an hour it's free but i highly recommend tipping. you can def get to a lot of vendors under an hour but again i went when it wasn't that busy

Open Mondays and Tuesdays only from 5-9pm. Cash only.Usually a lot more vendors but we came when it barely opened. There were 5 Thai tables and 1 Mexican table selling tacos. Everything seems to be under $10. I only wish they had a sitting area to eat.

Street market located on the street outside of the 99 Cent complex. It's open on Mondays and Tuesdays. Cash only. A couple of the vendors did accept Venmo but they weren't accepting it on that specific day. Street parking. We tried the laksa ($10) and Thai iced tea ($4) from one of the stands, and both were super tasty. Also tried the chicken pad thai ($10) that was cooked fresh to order on a wok outside a woman's car, and I loved the chewiness and taste of it. For dessert, we got the mango sticky rice ($10) which is good for two people as well as some packaged Palm cakes ($7). I would highly recommend coming here if you're around Hollywood in the evening.

I disagree with the previous review. I visited the Thai Street Food market for the first time a few days ago I personally feel like it was everything I expected it to be! I'm pretty picky when it comes to Asian food and especially here around LA, since I've grown up in Orange County surrounded by quality, authentic Vietnamese food, but I think that this street is worth taking a stop by! What this place lacks in size, it makes up in heart. All the vendors are such sweet mom and pop folks and such hard workers, bless their souls. :)My boyfriend and I got a sampler of multiple items from different stands, including grilled squid, pork skewers, mango sticky rice, and homemade Popsicles. Honestly, the flavors were on point! The sauces and seasoning used on the skewers and especially the grilled squid were so addicting! It reminded me of a nouc mam-based sauce but sweeter and packed with some solid heat. Be warned the smell will linger in your car and clothes from all the fresh food and smoke from the grill but it's so worth it! Bring your friends on Mondays and Tuesdays 6-10 pm and cash because it's cash only if you want a fun outing!

I love street food! When I heard there was Thai street food in the area, I had to try it. I went on a Monday night with my brother. There were about ten-stall with a variety of snack foods on the sidewalk of a 99-cent store parking lot. The pricing of the food was decent. However, the vendor sells the food in large quantities. A few stalls would sell ten skewers of meat as an order, 20 meatballs an order, or 15 potato balls as an order. As I could not eat large quantities, it was hard to order at some stalls because I knew I could not finish the large quantities. Some stalls will negate with you, so you are able to order smaller amounts. The vendors were really sweet and friendly. Some of my favorites were 10 skewers for 10 dollars and the eggroll for 1 dollar each. The pupusas were a nice addition to the Thai food stalls. The dumpling in the cups and the squid were a bit too saucy for me. Since it is street food, there are no accessible bathrooms. The 99-cent store's bathrooms were out of order, and the other stores would not let you use theirs. The area is okay; it is Hollywood at night, with a few homeless people in the parking lot.

A lot smaller than I expected. Prices aren't too bad, wish there was more stuff though :( Other than that pretty good! I got lucky with 1hr free parking thankfully.
