The food here is crazy good. If you want an affordable quick but dank meal, this is your spot! Everything was amazing and most were spicy even if they didn't label it as spicy FYI.Service was fast and friendly. They offer samples if you can't decide on what to order. I fully took advantage of this as tried everything I was curious about and ordered a few meals to last me the week. Standouts: massaman chicken drumstick and shrimp paste pork belly were both 10/10. They were both umami bombs that had me craving for more.

Been to Luv2Eat and love their food there so I knew this would be a hit also! Think steam table concept - pick 2 items with white rice for $15 or 3 for $18. The dishes they offer here are completely different from the Luv2Eat but you can expect the same flavor bomb and deliciousness! The braised pork belly was definitely a favorite followed by the green curry (pretty spicy...maybe like a mild-medium-ish Thai spicy), which was so good and the massaman chicken drumstick. The pork belly is savory with sweet notes as is the massaman so they were a good contrast and mix for the spicy green curry. You can choose to dine in and it's self serve with water, utensil and condiments. And the service is wonderful as expected too! Of course, we love the fried chicken from Luv2Eat and being that they're the same owners, the best part was that we ordered the fried chicken next door and was able to enjoy it with our plate here.

I've been going to Luv2eat for years so I was interested in trying this fast casual, more affordable option. This is a great alternative if you don't have a lot of time for a sit down dinner or looking for a more budget friendly meal. But best of all, the food is delicious! We got the 2 item combination ($15)- the pork belly and the curry chicken with bamboo. It looks like there's about 8-12 items to choose from (many vegetarian and some meat). Each combo comes with jasmine rice. The portions are not huge but just right for the price, and the food was super tasty, and I did not think it was too spicy. We also ordered the Zeed Noodles ($14), which we LOVED. They use to have this on the menu at the restaurant years ago so I was so excited to see this. It was really hearty and SOO GOOD! I'm definitely coming back very soon just to have this noodle bowl again! So glad to have this fast, friendly and affordable meal option now!

For quite a while, I'd walk by the little strip mall at Sunset and Cherokee that housed Luv2Eat Thai Bistro, Roro's, Boba Time and other spots--and there was this empty space for something that promised to be Luv2Eat Express. Well, at long last, it's open under the name of Thai Street Food by Luv2Eat Express, and it's yummy. It's from the owners of Luv2Eat, but unlike the original, which is just a few doors down, this location is counter-service. They have a steam table featuring a dozen or so options that change regularly. You select combos of two or three items (it comes with rice), they put them on a plate that reminded me of an Indian Thali platter, and you can either take them to go, or they have a few tables or a window-facing seating counter. On my first visit, I opted for the braised pork belly, the fried hardboiled egg with tamarind sauce, and pumpkin. They also gave me a little sausage to try, along with some chicken tom kha, which was a rich yellow from the fresh turmeric they use in it. Given the Luv2Eat pedigree, I wouldn't have expected anything to be less than delicious, and I was not disappointed. It's hard to pick a favorite, because everything was so good, but if pressed, MAYBE the pumpkin dish.Note about heat: In general, Luv2Eat is known for throwing down when it comes to spice. I asked them to select dishes for me that were milder, though next time I might try one dish that's got a bit more heat. Of course, they have plenty of Thai condiments if you need them, but I preferred just to stick with my dishes "as is." That was plenty. I would also add that if you get something like a chicken dish (like the chicken tom kha) or a fish dish, expect that there might be bones. That's super standard for cooking in most cultures; in short, you're not eating Americanized food.Prices are fair--it's a great spot to get a reasonable but yummy lunch or dinner--and everyone was so welcoming and kind. I'm so glad they're finally open, and I will be back.

We had the crab curry on their specialty menu. It was messy but worth it. Will be back.

Do you think 15 dollars is expensive for just the chili paste? This does not include tax.

Undeniably one of the best new restaurants that opened. I wish it were closer to work because I would be here everyday. I ordered the three spiciest entrees blindly. The employee was very kind and prepared a sample of them for me to try anyways. The sausage was slightly crystallized and more like a dessert. The fish curry had a delicious fermented sour flavor. The soup I tried was rich and strong. The chicken curry had bones in it, which reminded me of home cooking I am used to. Personally, I did not find any of the dishes spicy but they have an assortment of chilis to amp up the spice level. I cannot wait to go back to try my more. I have been to luv2eat's restaurant and that's wonderful too. I especially like the isaan sausage served either the Birds Eye chilis, raw ginger and cabbage. For a fast casual experience at this price point you cannot beat this, The service was excellent, food was excellent, and so was the restaurant itself. I would highly recommend it.
