I used to work out in Sylmar - where I first had TMAD. I worked some insane hours during that time and Teriyaki Madness was always coming through. I no longer work out there and this spot is down the street from home - a discovery that I was very happy with. I'm not surprised by some of the reviews. Honestly - many of my neighbors are overly critical and unfairly judgmental. When I leave a review - it is deserved and unbiased.The staff were welcoming and friendly - but their kindness was genuine which - after a long day - "real" is appreciated. The restaurant is clean and maintained - which is evident when you see how nicely the tables, chairs, floor, and windows look. The dude is cleaning the window as I write this review: Quality. Give the lad a raise.My food (see photo) came exactly as I had directed and it was served at my table. I had no issue getting it myself but - again - the quality of service and the care I received demanded that I speak up for this place. North Hollywood has a Teriyaki Madness - and if you've never tried it or you're on the fence - move yo rear end and try 'em out. Thank you for the quality and genuine customer service. I will be returning and recommending this location to my family and friends.

Going to update my review to 1 star after the owner responded to my 2 star review that was very honest of my experience claiming that I only post negative reviews for restaurants. How about take some accountability for my experience and actually try to improve from my feedback. I'm going to continue sharing my authentic experiences and ratings for places and if they're poor, I'm not going to sugarcoat it for the business's sake. Unbelievable lol

New Teriyaki Madness restaurant. It is clean and the workers were friendly. When we stop by , it is on soft opening, and it has the 6 dlr chicken teriyaki bowl. We ordered chicken teriyaki and salmon teriyaki. Both are yummy. I like to add the teriyaki sauce to the rice. Overall it was good lunch

Attended sneak preview day, reserved a noon spot. Free chicken bowl, $1 drinks, and $2 appetizers. Food was fresh grilled and hot. Service was quick and friendly. Portion for regular size was enough for lunch and later for dinner. #SumoApproved

I know it was the grand opening. So I am hoping next time I will give it a higher score. I have had TM many times before. So I was excited when it opened. The service and owner were kind and trying but they had some errors. They got my name wrong and didn't know who the meal went tooI got the chicken bowl but with noodles. And the crab Rangoon. The chicken was good but dry. They need to work on cutting even pieces. I had some very big pieces and some dry ends. It needed more sauce. Some pieces were flavorful some are dry. The noodles are good. The crab Rangoon was awful. It was cold inside and had the consistency of cat food. The outside was very greasy. I tossed them. I will for sure go back and get the steak and hopefully it is better.

Visited today for the first time. It's very clean and nice in comparison to the restaurant that was there before. I got a chicken teriyaki bowl with brown rice and vegetables. It was very tasty. The brown rice was perfectly cooked. I liked how they have added onion to their vegetable mix, it really balances the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce. The vegetables are also not overcooked or mushy they taste like they were freshly sautéed and seasoned nicely. The chicken is also nice and moist not overcooked.

My husband and I ordered for pickup. He goes to the DTLA location often as he spends a bunch of time down there and was racing about it. Placed our order online and picked it up. Honestly, the egg rolls were soggy and the bowls were mushy. Even he was disappointed as he was soooo excited to have this as a nearby option. Called the restaurant to give them a chance to make it right. They did offer to replace the egg rolls, but we had already made it home. Asked for a refund to which they denied and said they couldn't do anything about it. Disappointing experience to say the least.
