Tequilas is one of my local go to's. They've made some really nice changes over the years ( only ever go to the bar side - which at times can be a bit crowded... ) and the food has stayed consistently fresh. My dear Barmen who have always been attentive are great. Always pleasant, warm and attentive. And it's also a place where a community comes to - I've had numerous conversations with some cool people here.This place is just a good place to go for some simple good Mexican food, a decent margarita at a good price and perhaps a conversation with some good people....

Employee Francisco was rude and disrespectful to me to the point where I felt the need to get the owner Carlos Rivera involved. btw I don't drink alcohol so my judgment was not clouded. Try as I did, I could not get an answer out of Francisco what it was that I did or said that upset him. Carlos did a very poor job resolving things. Trying to resolve a very simple issue with these two was like talking to a couple of toddlers. One of my biggest pet peeves is people that don't take responsibility for their actions. Been coming here for a long time but I have too much self-respect To return. I suspect that Francisco, being a moody guy to begin with, was in a bad mood and he was going to take it out on someone. I would be remiss if I didn't warn people to avoid this place. The food is substandard, etc etc Eat here at your own risk.

Been here a few times and every time is awesome. The kickback atmosphere and vibe. The art around the place is cool. Get seated very quickly and they keep coming to check on you, which is nice. Happy hour is when you wanna go, the Cadillac Margarita and tequila platter. Good drinks and good variety food platter. New neighborhood spot.

My husband and I were on a walk and popped into Tequilas for brunch. Chips and salsa were fresh. I ordered the enchilada combo plate and my husband had the breakfast burrito. The food was yummy! Definitely will go back!

Tequilas Burbank was a pleasant surprise. We've passed by it countless times, and finally decided to try it.We went for brunch right away on a Sunday morning. We arrived around 11:30 and there was no wait at all, and only a couple other occupied tables. The waiter was very efficient throughout our meal. We walked there, but there's definitely ample street parking within a couple blocks.Unsurprisingly, chips and a slightly spicy salsa were served upon sitting down. We were prepared to order from the brunch menu, but we were happy to learn the full menu was available. We both ordered burritos. The Tequilas steak burrito was great, and the chile colorado burrito was excellent - perfectly cooked meat and flavourful sauce. The burritos came with a little pot of refried beans, one (1) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-green tortilla chip, and Mexican rice (no peas).We ordered the mimosa kit, a bottle of [cheap] sparkling wine and 2 tiny carafes of juice. The champagne glasses were plastic with perfectly-in-tact price tags stuck to the bottom, which is a good thing because we are known to rage at brunch and smash mimosa glasses. Enjoy this place. The food is delicious and you get a good food portions. The happy hr and brunch hrs are great as well. They no longer offer bottomless mimosas but they offer them by the glass or by the bottle $18 per bottle to be exact and you get two juice options. The service and ambience is welcoming. It's clean and you are treated as soon as you walk in. The hrs need to be updated on Yelp (already submitted the request) as this Sunday we got there at 11 thinking it was opened but they changed the open time to 11:30am. So just know this change before going there in the morning. Highly recommend to give it a try!

I consider the place very friendly, especially on Wednesdays. The margaritas are only $10 instead of 20 and all you need is one if you have 2 have somebody drive you home the food is a matter of taste. Everyone has a different taste. I like the food obviously I've had better, but I think their food is OK. They have an outside patio and booths the inside and again the staff is friendly. Parking is adequate. And 31 flavors is next-door yeah!

Held my class reunion here, (owner) was very accommodating, and everyone had a great time! We were in the back- tented patio area, with plenty of space and outdoor heaters to make sure everyone was comfortable. Food was great, drinks were great, a great time had by all! Service was also fantastic, some of my favorite servers from the former Burbank Acapulco location work here now.
