Nori is wrapped. You remove the wraps once you're ready to eat the roll. Clever way to keep the nori crispy!

Wanted to try this place with the family! We each got the 5 handroll combos which is $29. The seafood was alright, it's honestly not the freshest and I feel like there was more rice than the seafood. Also there's no wasabi. 2 seats per table and there's the counter seating. Nothing too flashy, but gets the job done! We were very full afterwards, and I love the one piece decor! Parking sucks as always in that area and there were lots of tourists in too! Tbh I haven't seen that many tourists in that part of LA in awhile but maybe it's just me being out of touch hahaha

Their atmosphere from outside VW inside was nice.It had a sitting patio area for day time and inside had a nice bar like stools. But if those changed to Dark color cushion sofas from West Elms? It would be more comfy and add some of the relaxation and enjoy the food and even the cocktails. Since there is a bar inside! The dishes were very good. But I wish I could have gotten the Tuna, I saw other photos and tuna looked really good.Chiracha was excellent! I wish they put perneilla leaves slices long and placed them above the rice and put the sashimi on top! Then eat bite would taste fresh with the leaves! Oh or! Minced of the perneilla leaves and mix it with rices.I had it take out. And the speed of service was so faster than they told me it will be ready. I was already at another store and left towards my place, and it alarm it! See you soon!

Such a cute place, small but with enough seating. For two people, we ordered the 5 combo handrolls and it was a good snack between meals. The food came out in about 10-minutes with a cute trash bin to put the wrappers. My favorite was the salmon and chopped yellowtail. We will definitely be back to try more of their handrolls!

Really solid, high quality ingredients! We were in the area and wanted a quick lunch, which this place hits the spot for. There are a few tables inside and outside. The wrapped nori helps keep it fresh with a nice crunch, and it's not hard to take off, as you just pinch the edges to slowly pull each side off. Every hand roll had great quality fish. The CUT is great if you want top ingredients - caviar, uni, and tuna. My surprise pick is the kombu salmon. I really liked the citrus flavor to it. Parking is street. We walked a few blocks from the Pershing Square lot since we were in the area for other things.

Excellent fresh fish, plastic wrapped nori so it doesn't get soggy before you eat it and good variety of hand rolls too!! The place is small with a handful of high top tables and a wrap around counter. I imagine most of their business is to-go/ delivery?? Anyway, highly highly recommend.

Not only was this place delicious. But the service was awesome. They altered my order on the spot, and it was still ready within 10 minutes. There are a couple of tables to eat at, but the spot is small and located inside but on the outside of a bar. The security staff was really cool too. It was an all around vibe. But seriously the hand rolls were so good, I didn't grab good pics

The handroll scene has really been blowing up in LA and while it's a simple dish, it's gotta be really good to stand out. I ordered these for delivery, so the dine-in experience may be much different. As far as my experience, Temaki Society does the job if you're looking for affordable handrolls for delivery but I can't say I'm dying to order again. The quality of the fish was fresh, so no complaints there. It's also great that the nori comes packaged up so it doesn't get soggy in transit. However, the seasoning on the fish and rice were lacking a bit for me, which made the handrolls not memorable. I'd eat this again in a pinch, but if I'm going out to eat, I'd still pick Kazunori all day.

Holy shit this place is bomb! Hands down best hand rolls we've had. It's a small/unassuming place (next to Grayson bar) with simple menu. You order at counter first upon entry. There are a few tables and a counter for sitting. We both got Temaki five. Our favorite is definitely the seared salmon! Literally melted in your mouth with a garlic sauce and chili oil on top. Scallop and chopped salmon were my runner ups. Spicy tuna and chilled yellow tail were nice as well just the flavor profile is a bit more subtle, not as memorable as the others. Everything was so delicious though one can never go wrong with any orders here. You can just tell the owner/chef put so much love into creating these hand rolls. Each one is a different combo but they all work perfectly. I was constantly in awe of what a flavor bomb each bite was. The plastic cover kept the seaweed crispy and added tons of texture , which is another reason why the hand rolls are elite! The owner was super nice and friendly. He came to check on us and told us the Temaki five is all of their favorites, which makes so much sense as they are all great! Will definitely be back to support and can't wait to try more of other hand rolls!

my new favorite handroll spot!! we got the temaki five, lobster handroll, and CUT handroll and was blown away. i've only been to kazunori so i can only compare it to them but boy, the handrolls here are THICK compared to kazu's. i can really taste the freshness of each roll and i genuinely love how it doesn't give me a paste-y taste and feeling. my favorites were the chopped salmon and chili yellowtail. i think the prices are fair and such good value. at first i was worried that i wouldn't be full with 5 (i always get 8 at kazunori) but it was WAY more than enough! we went on a sunday and it wasn't too busy. i really liked that we had to order first and can sit anywhere after. i also liked how it was a more casual ambiance. i'm not a fan of the area because of the parking situation but the food is so worth. i cannot wait to be back!!!
