Awesome tasty good crispy tortilla , nice spice to it too but not overwhelming.Delicious birria tacos, 10/10

This was my third time eating here. I read in a different review that this is a post drinking spot and it's funny how accurate I can relate since I've had this once after drinking and it definitely hit the spot. But the other 2 times were at lunch with my wife and the food is simple. Only Birria Meat in your choice of Tacos, Burritos, Tortas, Ramen or tostadas. The prices are decent, the service is great. The guys are cool and work to get your food out fast. I'll be back for sure!

I don't live far away yet it's take me forever to try this place. I decided to keep it simple: two tacos no cheese and a small consomme (no meat). No drink. Grand total $10.50. I'm not a fan of cheese on my tacos, but for those of you who are, I'm sure it creates a next-level experience. Regardless, my tacos were really delicious. I'm not a birria aficionado, but these were like a delicious street taco and definitely worth coming back for. The taco was loaded with meat. It came with lime wedges and radishes. The consomme came with two tostadas that you can crumble into it (highly recommend because A) it's delicious and B) it makes the consomme taste less salty. The place itself is no-frills and no-nonsense. It was quiet at 1pm on a Tuesday. Steady stream of carry-out and stay-in customers, with just enough room for everyone. I really like this place.

Happened to be in LA this weekend and we were looking to try something other than my Guatemalan food. We found this place via Instagram and it didn't disappoint they have 3 locations. Birria plate and mulita was good.

Does not disappoint if you are looking for some post-drinking food. We opted for the deluxe plate which comes with a variety of their taco offerings. A perfect fix after drinking as the food has good authentic mexican flavor as well as a savory and satisfying crunchy tortilla. The consome is the highlight for me, so good I could drink it as soup. I would skip however if you are looking for a more upscale or comfortable dining experience.

Was driving north on La Brea and the sign happened to catch my eye while sitting at the light. I remembered seeing the name on a list for outstanding birria tacos. So I grabbed my friend in Hollywood and headed back to this spot for dinner. It's a super simple menu and there's not much decision making required. We ordered the Deluxe Plate to try things. We got to the beef quesadilla and immediately decided we needed another combo plate. Honestly, everything had a different name but was basically the same ingredients stacked a different way. Although I can't put my finger on it, the quesadilla stood out, it seemed juicier, fattier, tastier, with the addition of the cheese. The caldo here is pretty special. What was left after dipping, my friend drank the rest of it down. There's not much for parking. Late night is best and not too many of the other stores are open. The location is pretty divey and small. Service was quick and expeditious. They were courteous and friendly.I'd eat here again if in the area.

Hate to write this, but had a not so great experience here. I ordered three Vampiros and a horchata. When I entered the cook and the person running the register were chatting. No problem, usually. However the cashier forgot to finish it on their end and I couldn't pay and then later the cook overccoooked my tacos by a lot. They were burnt in the bottom and couldn't even fold. Paying $19 for this was ridiculous. Also the horchata was way too sweet. I probably should have asked for them to remake it or my money back but I was starving and it just became about fuel at that point. Been here before and it has been good, but they need to lock it down and try a little harder. Also maybe don't serve great tacos on styrofoam plates that melt.... Microplastics in my food aren't appealing.

For 25 bucks you would at least think that they melt the cheese, or at least know to put the cheese on the tortilla ‍. Also look at the 'rough' chop on the rabanos lol! Food was good but the whole unmelted cheese really ruined it for me. Teddy gotta come in and regulate this ish.

Best birria Mexican food ever. You will not be disappointed with anything you order! I recommend the quesadilla meal.
