mhm, one of the best tacos i have tried in awhile! i waas craaving taacos & this place caught my attention. its pretty cool that they have a outdoor seating with the view of them working & cooking on the food. the service is absolutely wonderful. the cashier who helped me place my order, her name is briana ( just like my name ) ,she was absolutely wonderful & such a sweetheart. so pretty with such a pretty attitude! love that we have the same name! my order : - 3 Al pastor tacos with cheese & everything else on top + pineapple. ( i love that they had pineapple ) - 2 carne asada tacos. + horchata drink. first off, their horchata was absolutely delicious & refreshing. the 2 carne asada tacos were really good. a bit too much grauc but that's fine. lol. the meat was good & juicy, not chewy, good seasoning. their Al pastors was one of the best I have ever had. it was freshly made, juicy, & seasoned. a bit too spicy but it's okay. lol. the toppings + the pineapple is such a great sweet & savory combo. the tortilla for both tacos that i received was nicely made without breaking apart when taking a bite.

A taqueria that I been wanting to try for a minute since the hype is so high I got there and the taqueria reminds me for sure a Tijuana taqueria since they have a bootleg kitchen(improvised) with a propane inside and working with out kitchen hood, it gets smoky for sure! For the tacos I had to order everything in the menu since I went with a large group of friends Let's start with the asada, it has great flavor and it's tender and perfectly cookedThe pastor or adobada is not bad but it doesn't taste like pastor at all, I think in this batch they went heavy handed on the paprika since it had more chorizo flavor, I would try it again but not my favorite The lengua was on point and tenderChorizo was on the dry side but the guacamole helped not to get Choked El taco de birria is subliminal the jewel of their menuWe had a round of vampiros as well and a cup of birria that let me tell you they won one of those absurd LATACO contests but this time they were right, the birria is something that i would go back and that's the only thing that I would order with a taco de lenguaSalsas are delicious and perfectAmbience is just like a TJ taqueriaService is mediocre since the little girl in the front was on the chisme with the tortilla lady, leaving people waiting Definitely going back just for the birria

Updating my review ... The best tacos in Los Angeles!!!Taqueria Frontera in Cypress Park, Los Angeles, CA serves up some of the best carne asada tacos in LA. The tacos, featuring cilantro, cebolla, and guacamole, come in a freshly handmade tortilla that's bursting with flavor. Although the tortilla could be cooked a touch longer, the speedy service and quick checkout make up for it. For authentic Tijuana-Baja style street tacos, this spot is a must-visit.

Excellent establishment. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They seemed to be having a good time inside. Nice light spot inside and outside to eat. Very clean. Food was on point. Chorizo was my favorite. Liked the tortilla it came on. Green sauce paired well. Chorizo tasted really good well. Birria meat was really good. Tacos were filled. Literally could make two tacos. Pastor was good. Little spicy.

Came here on a Friday night, so the place was really busy and the line was pretty long. This place opened not too long ago and there was a lot of buzz around this place- it's probably one of the main reasons I wanted to go as soon as I was able to. Well, I would just like to say, in my opinion, it's as good as it gets when it comes to Tijuana style tacos. I ordered a few different tacos including the carne asada. The seasoning and the smoky flavors on point here. Depending on the type of meat you order, for some of the tortillas, they use some fresh masa and make the tortillas on site. The other tortillas they imported from TJ. Both were really really good.I'm a big fan of the tacos here and the vibe while eating here as well. Just a fun place to be and a great place for TJ style tacos.

Super yummy Al pastor tacos! The meat was good quality and tasted great. If you're not used to eating spicy you might want to go with asada because the al pastor is spicy but so tasty!! The agua frescas are nice and refreshing and they have plenty of stools to sit for a quick bite. They are also very fast serving up your order. The asada taco was also good, but Al pastor is definitely the star of the show

Stopped by here after our hike. Our friend mentioned the tacos were Tijuana style with handmade tortillas. But paying $3.75 for a taco? I don't know about that..I got two pastor tacos and a birria vampiro. You can definitely tell the tortilla is made with love. We noticed that the tacos did not have guacamole, but instead it had some kind of cilantro/mint creme? Not sure what it is exactly, but it paired well with the taco. I enjoyed the birria the most!! The meat was full of flavor with every bite. You get guac if you order the chicken taco.Seating is bar style where you eat on the counter. Limited seating. I don't think I would crave to go back, but I do need to go try their carne asada. Because when we went they were all out!! How was that possible?! We went in the afternoon too lol. Parking lot on the side of the building. Restrooms? I'm not too sure since I didn't need to use it.This place is worth trying, but not on my top list of taco spots to go to.

Recently saw this place on IG and I had to try it cause I love TJ style tacos. We first ordered the Al pastor and lengua taco. They're super delicious! The homemade tortilla is really soft and the meats were really tender. The pineapple adds a nice touch to each bite. After finishing both tacos, I had to get more so I ordered the carne asada taco. That guac just hits different and I really loved the asada meat. The asada is my favorite and I would definitely come back for more!

The last 2 times we made the 25 minute drive out to taqueria frontera, they were both out of beans and tortas before noon on a Saturday. You're a taco spot that only serves a few items, how do you run out of beans and tortas? It's super annoying to drive all the way there and not be able to place a basic order. A couple other times we went there the beans were way undercooked, too al dente, the quality has unfortunately dropped. There are so many fantastic taco spots in Los Angeles that it's not worth making the drive and not be able to complete a simple order, I think I'm done with this place.
