Ambience : 8/10 music is good and the vibes are rightService 3/10 service sucked I understand it was Valentine's Day. But we placed our order with our drinks and our server came back 30 min later and was like what can I order y'all for dinner. He forgot to enter our order and played it off. The table across from us received their food before we did even though we arrived about 20 min prior to them. We didn't get our food until about 45-50 min after.unfortunately killed my vibe.

I'd like to begin by saying the food and atmosphere were great! I was welcomed in from a large door by a bouncer. After checking in at the front desk, I was lead to the staircase that allowed for the sight of the whole restaurant. Ambiance and table settings were fantastic! We had the LA food week deal. We had Crispy Tuna Rice, Ribeye, Mongolian Steak, a few other items and dessert which were all fantastic.Unfortunately this is where the positives end.I reserved a table for my birthday on their client, but was not given any discount, free dessert, celebration (no big deal but considering the lack of everything else was disappointing). A little bit of a letdown considering the amount we had spent and the general cost of everything + valet on a rainy day. After a somewhat lackluster birthday celebration, we would later find cracked ceramic in our rice! The service was alright. Mistakes happen. I informed management of this occurrence, but as of writing they have not resolved my issue. For all the aforementioned reasons, I cannot recommend TAO to anybody celebrating over similar restaurants in the West Hollywood area.

If you like to have a peaceful dinner. Thia is the place. Not too loud. Or probably I am just lucky.I visited 5pm. Right at the opening. They were full but I still hear my own voice on top of the music and people talking. The place is too dark for me. But that is their setting. Selection of food is okay. Not overwhelming because the choices are very few which works for meThey have small tables for 2 people. I didn't like the seating for party of 2 because they are too close to the table of the next party. I can literally smell the breath of the guy next to me and I lost my appetite right away. This can be fixed. No privacy and space.I will come back to try more from the menu. For now I haven't tasted anything special. I was looking forward to the lobster fried rice but was nothing special for $38. It is just rice with small pieces of lobster and the kimchi is not necessary. It ruined the taste in my opinion. I thought something spoiled was in it but I used my flash light and I saw napa cabbage. I guess social media pictures are really over the top. Parking is Valet only $20. Great service and experience.

First time here and it was a great experience. I tend to keep an open mind when trying new things but I personally like this place. Let's get into it. Food:Great options, your sides are for the table so be mindful of how much your order because it's a lot. The menu is great and provides many different options.1) Black Pepper Chile Chicken was amazing and had so much flavor. Prepared perfectly that night. 2) Albacore Poke Tacos comes in 3 and they are small but packed with flavor. These bad boys are good.3) Crispy Orange Chucken was probably my least favorite. I mean it was just your standard orange chicken. I had better almost everywhere else.4) Thai Sweet and Spicy Shrimp was banging and had so much flavor. They are generous with the shrimp too. Love it. 5) Beef Mongolian - Okay this was by far the show stopper. This entree was hands down so so good and was my favorite. It was cooked just right and get so much. 6) Vegetable Fried Rice, and Pad Thai Noodles, wete our table sides and they both hit the spot. It was so good and the presentation was amazing. You'll love it.Atmosphere:This place is really amazing and the views of the restaurant and how much they out into it made the atmosphere epic. It has a classy but chill vibe to it. The seating arrangements are incredible and makes the restaurant stand out from any other place. Love this place and will be back. Staff:The staff was so polite from the valet to the front desk to the waiters that check on you. The staff was great and very good at what they do. I love that multiple waiters can tend to your table. It made things easy to make requests and get serve. Great job team! Price:Okay so, the price is on the higher end but if you factor in all the amazing experiences you get plus the food is great and portion sizes don't disappoint its all worth it. No complaints! Location:6421 Selma Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90028ITS A GREAT LOCATION. TIP:1) Parking is scarce and it's probably best to valet. It's only $20.2) they say there's a dress code but you can wear whatever you want. I saw people at a table wearing Christmas ugly sweaters with Pj pants. 95% of the guests wear dress nice.

TAO Asian Bistro in Los Angeles is nothing short of spectacular! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an atmosphere that is both grand and intimate. The stunning two-level space, complete with private dining rooms, an outdoor patio, and a lively lounge, is anchored by a breathtaking 16-foot Quan Yin statue--setting the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable evening. The ambiance here is truly top-tier. The dim lighting, elegant décor, and vibrant energy make it an ideal spot for both romantic date nights and large group gatherings. Speaking of groups, TAO is perfect for sharing! The menu is designed for family-style dining, offering an array of beautifully presented and flavorful dishes. Some of my personal favorites included the lobster fried rice and spicy tuna crispy rice--both packed with incredible taste and texture. The Black/Yellow Roll and Forbidden Roll were absolute standouts, and the tangy Pad Thai was a crowd-pleaser. Every dish we tried was expertly crafted and full of bold flavors.Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but the experience is worth every penny. The combination of impeccable service, jaw-dropping ambiance, and outstanding cuisine makes TAO a must-visit. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just indulging in a memorable night out, this spot delivers on every level. Highly recommend!

I didn't really know what to expect because I was only familiar with the club in Vegas. But I ended up having a great work dinner here. Coming in off the streets of Hollywood, you would never guess this place was so incredible spacious and ornate inside! Our server was fantastic and very helpful with making recommendations for the table. This was especially helpful since everything was served family style. If you get 1 thing on this menu it should be the tuna pringles. They are delicious and I highly doubt you will find this anywhere else!
