Came for a late breakfast. As long as you're in line by 11a you can still order off the breakfast specials! It's a pretty good deal for $12.99 to get combos of congee with sides and a hot drink with free refills. We saw some people order the beef with rice noodle rolls for $13.99 which looked pretty good too!Plenty of parking in the strip mall lot. Bathrooms are nice too.

Went for their Breakfast Special served from 8-11am! Tip: As long as you get on the waitlist before 11am, they let you order from their special menu.I ordered Combination Meal A with Century Egg and Pork congee, chow mein, and steamed rice noodle with dry shrimp. Everything came out hot, fresh, and delicious! Great deal for $12.99!They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is enclosed by a tarp. There is additional parking downstairs!

(Based on 3.5 stars)Tam's Noodle House is located in the same plaza as Wells Fargo, specifically right next door to Morning Delight Cafe. My husband, our little girl dog and I came to Tam's Noodle House for breakfast last Wednesday. We arrived around 8:45 am and we were able to sit outside (in the dog friendly, covered seating) right away. After looking over the menu, we ended up getting:Breakfast Set D: Fish Sui Mai + Rice Noodle Roll, $13.99 prior to tax- You can choose to have beef brisket Rice Noodle Roll instead of the plain rice noodle roll at no additional cost. This meal set comes with a large bowl of congee. It was quite a lot of food + ended up taking a lot of it home for leftovers for a few days. I was not expecting to see how the fish sui mai and rice noodle rolls were to be served, as it was a lot, in a large bowl. I thought the sui mai was fine but I have had better. My husband didn't like it. I did like the rice rolls, which is one of my favorite items to eat in general. I also liked the peanut sauce and hoisin sauce on the side that went well with the rice rolls. Breakfast Set A, $12.99 prior to tax- My husband picked the Bone- In Chicken Congee with Dark Soy Sauce Chow Mein and Steamed Rice Noodle Roll w/ Dried Shrimp. The congee served is plenty for 3 people, so we also took this home (I just combined my husband's leftover congee with mine). The soy sauce chow mein was just fine. But I think I liked his rice rolls the most and a little bit more than mine because of the dried shrimp. ----------------------------- (Total= $29.75 after tax, prior to tip)We both picked Hong Kong milk tea with our meals (which it comes with). My husband got a refill, but because we were just about to pay, this one employee just packed his refill in a to go cup for him, which I thought was very nice of her. Service from our original server was lacking. He was not really that attentive and never checked on us. But honestly, that is pretty typically of Chinese places, so that doesn't really bother me (I'm used to having to flag down the server when I need something, including paying the check). But all the female servers were so much better. They were very easy to get ahold of and just seemed much nicer. They were also much friendlier than the male server we had. Just as I read from another Yelp member's review, I would recommend ordering one breakfast meal set to share with your party and then ordered a few a la cart items to round out the meal but do not think it's a good idea for each person in your party to order a breakfast meal set since it is quite a lot of food (but there isn't anything wrong with leftovers though). My husband didn't like Tam's Noodle House as much as he likes Alice's Kitchen. I think I like the breakfast choices here at Tam's Noodle House more though. But I will most likely be back in the near future with my mom to see what she thinks of this place.

This was my first time visiting Tam's Noodle House, and it's a solid spot for classic Hong Kong cafe-style dishes. We came on a Sunday morning around 10 a.m. and only had to wait less than 15 minutes, which was great.Their steamed rice noodles are easily some of the best in the SGV. They were bouncy, soft, and soaked up the sauce perfectly. We ordered the rice noodle roll with house special sauce and the one with shrimp and yellow Chinese leek--both were fantastic. We also tried the dark soy sauce chow mein, which was flavorful and not too dry.Service was your standard HK cafe experience--efficient but average. Overall, this place is definitely worth checking out for quality steamed rice noodles and a satisfying meal.

Came here to grab some congee. When I got there, I found out that there is an actual congee combo and it's really reasonably priced! I would even say it's enough for two people of if you want to add some more menu items. The place was lively with a vibe of this is where everyone goes to for breakfast on a weekend morning. I was ordering to go - which is lucky because this place was seriously packed (Sat morn). The person I ordered from was great and walked me through the different options for the congee combo. I can also tell that they were meticulously preparing my Hong Kong milk tea. Just a great experience all around. I came here for dinner before and got some wonton noodle soup with their egg noodles. I thought it was really good and the place was really chill at that time because it was a week night. Upping my score because this restaurant is just all around great whether you want to come here for dinner or a group breakfast on the weekend.

The breakfast combos are such a good deal for the price. The food was good but I probably wouldn't pay full price. They have indoor and outdoor (covered in the parking lot) seating. It's your standard no frills service, 10/10 would bring my mom here. There's a wait on the weekends for the breakfast, but as long as you have a ticket before 11AM, they will honor the breakfast combo price. There's a sign up sheet right outside the door and they give you a numbered ticket.

Traditional Chinese restaurant. Hustling and bustling with minimal mid customer service lol. At least the food is good! I ordered a rice noodle roll with bbq pork ($6). It's so cheap and good! The rice noodles were thin but still manage to soak in the flavor of the sauce. Slippery and bouncy texture which is ideal for rice noodle rolls. Def coming back to try some more rice noodle rolls. I didn't have to wait long, maybe like 15 minutes. I noticed that they expanded their outdoor seating and expanded to the parking lot (directly in front of the business). Pricing and food portions here is worth it. *minimum to use a credit card. Luckily I had cash for my one order.

I ordered a bowl of shredded pork noodles, but the broth had a strong, unpleasant fishy smell. When I brought it up to the server, they refused to let me switch to another dish. The lack of service and food quality was extremely disappointing--I definitely won't be coming back.
