5/5 - Fantastic Sushi Delivery!We ordered delivery from TaKe Sushi, and now I completely understand why this place has such a great reputation! Everything arrived perfectly--fresh, beautifully presented, and in generous portions.What We Ordered: * Eel Sushi (2pc) - Amazingly fresh eel, rich and flavorful. * Hokkaido Scallop Sushi (2pc) - The freshest scallops I've had in ages, buttery and melt-in-your-mouth. * Salmon Skin Roll - extra crispy and packed with flavor. * Popcorn Roll - Perfectly done with a great crunch. * Dark Night Roll - Our second favorite! The crispy, charred onion on top added the perfect smoky crunch. * Salmon Special (6pc x2) - Absolute favorite! The salmon was incredibly fresh and buttery and love the crab and avocado inside. * Spider Roll - They even included extra pieces of soft-shell crab--amazing! * Mango Salmon Avocado Roll - Light, refreshing, and a perfect balance of flavors. * Double Salmon Roll - If you love salmon, this is a must! * Yuzu Cheesecake - Our favorite dessert of the two! Light, citrusy, and the perfect way to end the meal. * Green Tea Cheesecake - Also delicious, but the yuzu was the standout.Everything arrived fresh and exactly as ordered--zero mistakes, which is rare for delivery. While we can't comment on the restaurant's ambiance, the food and service were top-notch. Portions were large, flavors were on point, and we'll definitely be ordering again.Highly recommend!

Just wanted a quick to-go sushi spot and thankfully this place was just that. Price is average, not the cheapest. Quality of sushi was good to above-average. Got one of the sushi combos and I loved having the variety of edamame, seaweed salad, assortment of fried tempura, along with my sushi/sashimi. Note, miso soup is not part of the combo so make sure to add.Online order was super easy. Service was super fast. You can park next door at the lot next door or on Berendo in between 6th and Wilshire.

My pregnant wife craved for some rolls this morning so I placed the order and went to pick up. The order was ready by the time I went inside, and the guy in the front really packed them well since he placed a piece of cardboard to separate the Snow White roll, which was baked and hot, from the other rolls. The sushi man who made the rolls, however, didn't seem to care much about the food at all. The shrimp tempura roll barely had any eel sauce, the snow white roll didn't taste like they put any sauce either. And, it came the worst - morning glory roll, at first I thought they had my order wrong for a regular shrimp roll until I saw the shrimp tempura inside; there was nothing on top of that roll, no lemon slices no yuzu dressing zilch nada. I understand mistakes could happen when restaurants were busy but this was Sunday around noon and my order was #3. Unacceptable.

Cool little place with great music and food. The water and miso soup are self served in the corner of the restaurant. You can order at the counter or use the QR Code to order from your table. We ordered the shrimp tempura roll, salmon roll, spring rolls, and the beef gyoza. It was enough food for two and the staff are nice.

Holy crap this place is amazing! We randomly ended up here because we went to another nearby spot and it wasn't our vibe so we came here by chance. That's something that makes LA so special, triangulate yourself on Yelp and find a gem! Will travel from the Westside for this place lol my main favorite was the yellowtail bowl and I added jalapeno to it half rice and greens. So so so good and huge. The crispy rice was a little over done but the food was so fantastic I didn't care I'm sure it will be perfect next time! I loved the albacore social no rice I want all of those. I get jalapeno poppers everywhere they're offered so glad the tuna inside wasn't cooked like some spots. Props on having all of the sauces on each table and ginger and wasabi on the counter with the self serve water and after meal hi chews and treats! It's the little things that make such a difference and these guys covered it all bravo guys see you soon!

If you know me, you know I LOVE sushi, so when visiting a new city I HAVE to have some sushi. I found this place on a delivery app and decided to give it a shot. I got a few pieces of nigiri, some rolls, and crispy rice with tuna. The nigiri was fresh and delicious and the rolls were just as great! I definitely ordered more than I needed, but I did indeed finish it and needed to be horizontal for the rest of the day.

Food is tasty, ambiance is nice but could be better and service was fast. I was just walking around Koreatown and happened to see this place. I'm glad I stopped in and ordered.

Not good. I don't know where the solid reviews are coming from.The website describes the ambiance as "minimalist / self serve". I would describe it more as clinical and cold. The interior is all gray and black with no warmth or color anywhere. And as is typical with many eateries in Koreatown, they've erased any human element from the experience. You are not greeted when you walk in, and you can make the choice to order from an iPad at the counter or through a barcode on your phone. The ginger, wasabi, and miso soup are self-serve on a counter in the back-- very strange. The wasabi and ginger were both ice cold like they'd both been recently thawed. The miso soup had no tofu in it. It was literally just broth.The spicy garlic edamame came to our table cold with no dish to put the scraps.The albacore on the Cilantro Albacore Roll had a slightly fishy taste and an unappealing, pre-frozen texture -- as though it had just been thawed.The tuna in the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice had zero flavor-- all you could taste was an overpowering amount of sesame oil. The food is a bit cheaper than a typical nice sit-down sushi restaurant, ranging from $14 - 21. Nowadays it's typical for rolls to start at $17 and go up from there. But I'd much rather pay a few extra dollars for fresh, flavorful fish and BASIC customer service. I regret spending my money here.

Food: 5 stars Service: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 starsI have driven by and passed by this place during lunch time, and I never thought about stopping by for some reason. So I finally got to try out tonight, and overall, my family enjoyed everything. Their fish was definitely fresh since we had other sashimi from a different place to compare with. None of the fishes had the fishy taste. I loooove sushi but can't enjoy them if they are too fishy. Their rolls were all good as well.I am giving 4 stars to service because they charged about 4% fees. I'm not sure what this fee is for since the website said I actually saved about $20 ordering directly from their website. For this reason, I only added $5 tips for my takeout orders. Despite the additional fees, I would go back and recommend to others.

Terribly slow service and extremely unprofessional. Our online pickup order was overdue by an hour for 2 sushi rolls. During our time there, we also witnessed 2 customers upset over the service. Someone had also waited for an hour and a woman was told they could not make her order because they were out of ingredients after she had been waiting there for some time. The cashier tells everyone "5 minutes" and then the orders take way longer than that. Do not recommend unless you're looking to wait a long time.
