PARKING If you've been following me here on yelp, you know that parking is very important to me because I know that when you go on dates, ladies, we usually wear our best heels. We're smart enough to know that when we go to downtown LA more than likely we're gonna have to park in a structure and walk somewhere to get to where we wanna go. There are lots of public parking structures around the area so take 3 ounces of patience with you when you're looking for the closest parking structure outside of this building's parking garage. You're gonna need it. Your reward is, it's worth it. SERVICEOh heavens. Service last night with our awesome Server was a slice of heaven added to the spectacular view (we'll get to that later!) I wish I got his ne so I can give him credit but our main Server last night, I believe his name was Jonathan, was amazing! He was super sweet, cordial, very professional and he ensured our drinks and food were well attended. Jonathan we will be back and we'd like you to take care of our table again! So I can wire more yummy stuff about your work ethics, my brother. Pun intended! AmBIANCEOK Folks, you know that as your unofficial Yelp Dating Coach, I find and frequent absolutely wonderful and not so wonderful places for your hot date. Would I recommend this place on a first date? You know that I'm practical, but I'm not stupid. My answer would be a resounding YES if you have the pocket to spend on your first dates and that's assuming you're not just dating one person while you're searching for.The One. Now TO BE PRACTICAL IF YOU DON'T HAVE THOSE ENVIABLE DEEP POCKETS FOR SEVERAL FIRST DATES I'D RECOMMEND YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST DATE TO A STARBUCKS AND HERE'S THE CAVEAT IF YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY 100% CHEMISTRY WITH YOUR FIRST DATE WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT FOR YOUR SECOND DATE? Yes! FOODCHECK OUT MY PICS BECAUSE THE FOOD GETS AN A+ IN MY BOOKS .

Service was great, food was delicious, and you can't beat the rooftop view! I recently ate here with coworkers during a conference and we chose this restaurant because they could accommodate our group of 12 without limiting us to a pre-set menu. Highlights included the shishito peppers, goyza, Takami roll, and Season roll. Everything was so tasty!

Located on the 21st floor of the building with great views of downtown LA. Ordered a California roll , DTLA roll and the robata Chilean sea bass. The food was delicious and fresh. Absolutely loved the sea bass. Our waiter was nice and friendly and the atmosphere was great. Perfect place for a date as well. There are a few parking structures around and also a valet.

Omakase with city views of DTLA? Bookmark this spot for your next date! I don't know how I just stumbled across @takamisushila , but this hidden gem upscale sushi restaurant features two of my favorite things: high quality cuts of sushi and beautiful views of the city from the 21st floor! Their extensive menu features expertly crafted sushi rolls, cocktails and sake, appetizers, and even omakase, which we opted for. I thought the omakase menu was well-priced for the generous amount of dishes we got, and I was impressed by the high quality, freshness and innovative presentation of every dish we tried. Service was very nice and knowledgeable about all the dishes (albeit Americanized, minus the actual sushi chefs). I'll definitely be back again, and I highly recommend checking them out for a date to impress if you're in the area! P.S: $12 valet parking in the alley (very clean and empty), and your car is parked into a gated garage. Highly recommend if you're having trouble finding street parkingFeatured here: Scallop Delight: Japanese Scallops topped with Sliced Apple and Pear in Japanese Yuzu dressing Ocean Melody: Fresh Oysters topped with Caviar, Madai Wrapped in Orange Truffle Kiss: King Salmon Fire with Vanilla Coffee Bean Toro Tartare: Chopped Toro with Uni, Cavicar and Chives Daily Sashimi: 5pcs Sashimi. Chef's Choice Daily Nigiri: 5pcs Nigiri. Chef's Choice Sizzling Wagyu: Japanese A5 Wagyu Grilled on Hot Stone Dessert: Japanese coffee and matcha tiramisu with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit

It was my first time here and it was such a great japanese restaurant with a beautiful rooftop setting, lounge vibes, great service, and yummy sushi! We came for a reservation of 7 on a saturday night and were seated and served quickly. The server was very prompt and I loved how they offered to refrigerate the birthday cake and brought out a candle for us. I loved the avocado bomb and crunch roll the most but i'm excited to come back and try many more items. The drinks were just as good with my favorites being the virgin lychee mojito and the guava berry drink. The prices were very reasonable as well so I plan to come back with friends and even as a date. Love it!!

If you're looking for a dinning experience that seamlessly blends warm hospitality, delectable cuisine, and stunningly ambience, then look no further than Takami Sushi & Robata. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were greeted by an Incredible staff whose warmth and accommodation set the tone for a memorial evening. Now let's talk about the heart and soul of Takami, the food. The menu boats of an array of authentic Japanese cuisine that transported our tastebuds to various levels. Each dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece with a perfect blends of textures and flavors that showcased the Chef's commitment to high quality and authenticity. In conclusion Takami Sushi & Robata is an LA iconic gem with its edgy decor and stunning DTLA views. It goes beyond of just being a restaurant but an experience. It's succeeded our expectations not by only satisfying our palates but creating long last experience of an amazing dinning experience.

Beautiful restaurant in downtown LA with easy valet parking and a quick elevator ride up to the venue. The ambiance was lovely, especially at sunset with dim lighting and heat lamps outside to keep it cozy. The drinks were fantastic, and we highly recommend the edamame--flavored perfectly--and the spicy tuna on crispy rice, which was divine. We also enjoyed two sushi rolls, and I'll definitely be back to try more from their extensive menu, which includes sushi, rice plates, and noodles.Service was excellent--the dishes came out in a timely manner, and our waiter recommended some great options, as it was our first time visiting. Can't wait for my next visit!

A nice view of DTLA on the 21st floor with a great view was such a nice birthday surprise. We had reservations on a Saturday night, we opted to sit outdoors right by the edge. Our server was attentive and made sure we always had a drink.Shishito Peppers- seasoned well and tender. Just right my alley. Soft Shell Crab- so soft and fresh. Batter wasn't heavy at all and paired well with the crab. One of the best I've had.Japanese Carpaccio- perfect for those who love everything and can't decide on just one fish. So flavorful and fried onions added just the right amount of depth. Everything was fresh. Shashimi Feast Roll- just the right amount of rice from the spicy tuna roll, cucumber in the roll added just the right amount of freshness. Topped with assorted sashimi.

Came for my birthday dinner with a large party. our table was set up beautifully and our server was so attentive and gave us all amazing food/drink recommendations based on our personal preferences (we tend to be picky and indecisive). The rooftop was GORGEOUS with stunning views. Food was exquisite and drinks were delicious too. We all mainly went for the Season Roll and Surf & Turf roll, which were both exquisite. For drinks, I got Endless Summer (perfect mix of alcohol and refreshing mint/watermelon juice) and the rest of my party went for the Lychee Martini (which was delicious and light, masking the flavor of alcohol). Our server surprised me with a birthday dessert, which was an amazing lava cake with raspberry and caramel garnish alongside berries and vanilla ice cream. Takami was the perfect venue for my birthday -- will definitely be back soon!
