Leaving me Tahnta-wanting for more! Always delicious food and friendly service right in the marina. A hot bowl of soup always bodes well for a sailor back from sea. Fair prices and fast service.

We decided to have dinner pretty late and this was one of the only places that was open. We walked upstairs and grabbed a seat on the patio since it was a bit stuffy inside. The waiter grabbed us some menus and we quickly ordered food which was way more than we needed for only two people.3/5 Spicy larb Kai - swimming in fish sauce but was still good3/5 Green chicken curry - decent4/5 Pad kra pow - very good 4/5 Crab Rangoon - very good with the dipping sauce0/5 Sticky rice - too wet and I tried to complain but the waiter pretty much said 'too bad'The food was pretty good but giving this a low score because of the service. I told the waiter the sticky rice didn't taste good and was wayyy too wet and he pretty much ignored me and said too bad. He also reminded me that they close at 10, in which we had plenty of time. It seems like he was rushing us and trying to kick us out after we ordered all this food.I'd order takeaway but the service was bad.

This is the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been. At first, I wasn't sure if I should made this negative review. But then considering the quality and experience comparing with the over average reviews there's quite a discrepancy towards reality. It all started with a Papaya salad as an appetizer. Besides the small part ion for the price the salad had a suspicious unusual odor (!!) which I never experienced in any other salad or Thai dish before. It was disgusting and looking back it makes me very made. This is unacceptable and very negligent. Luckily we did not end up with food poisoning.Our big mistake was, that we did not canceled our remaining order and left. We were super hungry and thought the remaining dishes are better, but not really..I got the Tom Kla which was a small size with almost no meat inside and not tasty at all. My wife had a green curry with veggies which came only 3 pieces of eggplant - ridicules. Also not tasty. My friend had a pad Thai, he said it was "ok", but not great.For the Salad and three dishes plus tap water (not well filtered, too) we spend $70 (plus tip - they deserved no tip, but I added $10 and mentioned "Salad was not good" on the receipt, no response)The first thing we did at house was cleaning our mouths with clean water. It was really this bad. Pointless to say that I would never recommend this place, except people who I don't like..It's very, very rare that I gave 1 star, not sure I ever did. But this one needs a lesson that this food quality and value is not acceptable..

Super solid neighborhood spot for some affordable comfort food.Ate indoors and the staff were so quick, friendly, and accommodating. They have both a cute indoors and outdoor seating.Pineapple fried rice and tom yum soup were good, very comforting and solid dishes. Very affordable too which is hard to find now on the west side.Moderate size parking lot, and also has street meter parking right outside the parking lot. Will probably come back for some nice takeout food.

Nice spot. Parking area was a little tight. Small and not a lot of people when I went in. Was able to order quickly. I got Thai fried rice with thai tea. The meat was good and flavorful. Since it was a new spot, I didn't get my usual. Maybe if I visit the area again I will try it. Would recommend checking out for sure.

Lunch Today: Tahntawan Thai is one of my favorite neighborhood Thai restaurants! I'm here quite often, as they make some of my favorite dishes.Thai Eggplant & Pumpkin: Blows my mind every time, alongside a side of rice! The sautéed combo of veggies with garlic chili sauce has my tastebuds dancing nonstop! Haha! One of my absolute favorites!!Vegan Burrito: My order today! So good, it's flavorful, delicious & just packed with goodness; veggies, brown rice & an avocado all wrapped up like a warm embrace! Though it includes delicious homemade green sauce, I also absolutely love the peanut sauce. (extra $1.25 & absolutely worth it! They make it in-house!) Veggie Pad Thai: Delicious, glossy, flavorful & always hits the spot, packed with colorful veggies!Delicious: Other favorites are the Thai iced tea, papaya salad and Tom Kha soup...so good!Decor: So cute & colorful! I've dined both inside & outside! Outdoors is my favorite, because I can always appreciate fresh air, the colorful scenery, sitting under one of the striped umbrellas & seeing the tall palm trees sway!Customer Service: CK is a whole vibe, so friendly & puts her heart & soul into the restaurant. She's so sweet, attentive & we always have fun conversations, including talking about Thailand, where she's originally from.
