This was the first time I had tacos while visiting California and I'm so glad we stopped by. Hands down the best consomé and tacos I've had. I liked having both the soft and crunchy tacos. The meat was juicy and tender. But the consomé really surprised me. It was a 10/10 and I was happy to see that it came with so much meat. Service was quick and friendly. Make sure to bring some cash! There were a few tables near the truck but we opted to eat in our car instead. I'm still thinking about these tacos and hope to have them again when I'm back one day.

Location a bit unusual, but I am not from the area, so maybe it is not. The service was fine. The prices were good. Our foreign exchange student had pollo and asada, which he enjoyed, but said the steak was the better of the two. My partner had the vampiro, which she loved. Finally, I had the quesataco with chivo. It had just the right amount of juice and gaminess. The offer a wide variety of tasty salsas and drinks.With the countless options in the LA area, I would have to be near it or have a goat craving to eat here again.

Tacos y Birria is my go-to spot for quesatacos and the consome. I usually get the Birria de Chivo (goat) quesatacos and the Birria de Res (beef) quesatacos. The tacos are made fresh and the shell has a great crunchy but also soft/chewy texture. The cheese is super melty and it all comes together for a great quesataco. The meat has lots of flavor too. Don't forget to ask for the consome! The consome broth is so flavorful with all the meat juices and small pieces of meat in the broth too. Dip the taco in the consome and then drink the rest as a nice warm flavorful soup.Note: I usually show up right when they open to avoid the lines. The tacos are made fresh so sometimes there can be a long wait for the food.

Had several orders and they were all great and delicious. Four Birria tacos dorados, one ramen Birria, one Cozumel and a Birria plate. Not many places have great Birria and can be pretty dry and over cooked but La Unica is pretty good. They also have Birria available de Chiva(Goat). The ramen Birria is a bit too salty but that's every Ramen. Will definitely come back and will definitely get the queso tacos next time.

The absolute best place to have tacos y birria. Note that they are closed on taco Tuesdays. *insert cry face* Crunchy, flavorful and the broth.. aka consome is fantastic. Drink it up, dip in it, whatever you want. They have a few outdoor seats which is great! I'd recommend eating there if possible so you can enjoy them hot.
