Suzanne’s Fried Chicken

These are gently fried chicken breast tenders. The price is eye watering but I have to say it was moist and juicy, not dry/tough like white chicken meat is often served. I really liked it. Comes with a cupcake of corned bread and some honey, hot sauce and a tiny salad. Good food for the Hollywood bowl.

Skip this unless you won't be disappointed by mildly flavored chicken tenders. I was so excited to try the Spanish Fried Chicken but gosh were my wife and I disappointed. We are big fans of Ms. Goin's cooking at her restaurants and knew this would be a notch below restaurant quality. The chicken lacked flavor. The chicken tenders were breast meat which is tougher and less desirable then dark meat for us. The cornbread was so dry and dense that I almost spit out my mouthful. The staff were attentive but not friendly. Next time we are at the Hollywood Bowl I'll just pick up a turkey sandwich at the Marketplace.

Had the 7piece chicken meal that includes corn bread & coleslaw. Chicken tenders were good size. I could only eat 2 pieces. Corn bread was tasty and moist. Coleslaw was just very standard. They put the coleslaw, corn bread and the sauces all the way at the bottom, buried by 7 big chicken tenders. I had to remove the chicken first to get to them. It's a good value for what you get considering you're at Hollywood bowl.

Purchased @ Hollywood Bowl...3 piece chicken/ slaw / cold & hard cornbread. Chicken cooked a few minutes to long, but nicely seasoned. Overly price...go to Popeye's or another chicken joint...

There are a variety of options when it come to eating at the Bowl. Suzanne's Fried Chicken is a kiosk in the upper level area of the facility. It is Fried Chicken by chef Suzanne Goin. I ordered the three chicken tenders bucket. It also comes with corn bread and coleslaw. I thought the chicken was just ok. I had better tenders from Dave's Hot Chicken and other places in L. A. The corn bread was pretty good. The coleslaw was kind of disappointing and lacked flavor. Everything is expensive at the Bowl and that's how it is at these places. It is one of these situations where you expect something more and it just ain't so. I still think that the Hollywood Bowl is a spectacular place and we are so lucky to have it in our city. Anyway, I tried it and life goes on.

Really good. Easy ordering & pick up, had to walk quite a distance to our box, but chicken remained hot and delicious. Generous portion, excellent ranch, totally worth it. Wish they delivered!

The chicken was very tender. The spices were not quite the flavor profile I prefer but with the sauce they give you on the side makes for a tasty combination. The fries were standard; but also good with the sauce. Not a bad option for dinner before a show at the Hollywood Bowl but if I make it to another show in the future I'll probably be trying something else.

No question it is a treat to have Suzanne's food accessible at this price point. I was born and raised in Los Angeles on Kentucky Fried Chicken, coleslaw and biscuits from the 3rd Street location.Thank you to whomever made Suzanne's version available to the Bowl public.

Great service, timely, great taste, they had boneless option with cornbread! Right before my show (John Williams concert)! Probably the best tasting of the available food options at the bowl in my opinion! (This includes pizza, bbq sandwich, etc.)

Hollywood Bowl LocationGot the 3 peice chicken comb. I was pleasantly surprised by how succulent the chicken was. The option of adding honey was nice. The corn bread was great, and the vinegar based coleslaw was excellent. We got our orders quick and the staff was friendly.
