Susuru Ramen Bar - 5/5 StarsI ordered delivery from Susuru Ramen Bar, and let me tell you--it did not disappoint.Food Review: * Spicy Tonkotsu - The katsu was perfect, and the spice level was just right--not overwhelming but definitely not mild. Added extra wood ear mushrooms for an extra $1.50, and they were absolutely worth it. * Tonkotsu (x2) - Whether made in-house or not, the tonkotsu was fantastic. Added extra scallions to one for an extra $1.50, and it just elevated the flavor. * Thai Tea (x3, Large) - Perfectly sealed, well-balanced sweetness, and refreshing. Worth every penny * Veggie Tempura - Some of the best tempura I've ever had. Light, crispy, and flavorful. * Chicken Karaage - Absolute favorite! I've never had chicken karaage this good before. Perfectly crispy and seasoned. * Salmon Roll - This isn't a sushi place, and at $10, the roll wasn't my favorite. But let's be real--you come here for the ramen, not the sushi.Final Thoughts:I can't speak to the ambiance or in-person service since this was a delivery order, but I can tell you this: Susuru Ramen Bar is worth every penny. The ramen is significantly more affordable than most competitors, and the quality is outstanding. If you're craving ramen, this is the spot. Five Stars!

This was a blind eat for me and I'm so happy I went ! Walked in randomly to a very tiny restaurant. Probably about ten tables. We got seated right away. Maybe about 15 mins later the place started filling up and there was a line at the door !! We got so lucky and it made me more excited. Server was really nice too. What we ordered *tonkotsu ramen- one spicy ($15) and one regular($14) silky pork broth, pork belly chashu, scallions, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, & seasoned soft-boiled egg - Both were packed with so much flavor. You can taste the char on the pork belly. Yummy yummy. My friend said it's one of the best ramen he's ever had. *fried squid legs ($12) - I was most excited for this !! A must whenever I see it on the menu. It did not disappoint !! So crispy. Flavorful on its own without any dipping sauce. I really wanted to order another but ahem* trying to watch my figure hahaha *spicy tuna on crispy rice (6) - came with two pieces. The tuna was not fishy tasting at all. Rice was actually crispy and not soggy and pathetic. I enjoyed it all so much I'm planning to go back this weekend.

Had this ramen spot on my list of places I needed to try, especially after it was rated the top ramen restaurant in California by Yelp. So finally went there since I was in the area and am disappointed I didn't go sooner. There is a small, shared, parking lot which can be hard to get parking in, but there is street parking around as well. Was able to walk in and get seated right away. Our order was taken immediately, with both of us trying a Tonkotsu ramen, mine spicy, hers was regular. Now, the broth is where the party starts, and this broth was a little on the thicker end and full of flavor. The noodles were ample in amount and the pork belly was very flavorful. And the drained egg is always that bite of rich indulgence you look forward to with a good bowl of ramen. Pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of ramen it is. If you're a fan of ramen, put Susuru on your list of must trys for a quality bowl of happiness!

Cute little spot with excellent customer service. Ramen was solid. I loved the broth, and the Chashu was good (I have had better Chashu though).. My egg was cooked perfect, I did wish it had a little more flavor (not the best egg I have had but still solid). My fiance liked his chicken ramen (he gives it a 7/10). The chicken karrage is actually one of the best I have had (Although my fiance said the batter reminded him of McDonald's chicken nugget). I would definitely come back because I liked it a lot.

Susuru Ramen in Los Feliz is a fantastic spot for anyone craving incredible ramen and sushi. The restaurant has an artsy vibe, with hanging lanterns and fun wall art that gives it a quirky, hole-in-the-wall charm.I ordered the Mayu ramen, and it was unbelievably savory--packed with flavor in every bite. I upgraded to the kale noodles, and let me just say, they were a game-changer. Healthy options don't always deliver on taste, but these noodles were incredible--so much so that I'd happily order them again. The food came out surprisingly fast, which blew me away considering the quality. The guy at the cash register was super nice and helpful. I specialized one of my dishes, and it came out exactly as I wanted, which is always appreciated when dining out. Both the ramen and sushi were equally amazing, which is rare--most places seem to excel at one or the other, but Susuru nailed both. A lot of places don't offer a cut salmon roll when they offer tuna, but this place has both, so of course I had to get both. The salmon roll and the spicy tuna on crispy rice were fresh, well-prepared, and just as satisfying as the ramen. The only downside is the limited parking, so you'll want to plan ahead for that. Even with the minor hassle of finding a spot, it's absolutely worth the effort. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu--I'm already eyeing my next order. If you're in Los Feliz and looking for top-notch ramen and sushi, do not miss out on this spot!

One of the best ramen spots in LA!!! This place is top notch every time I've gone. I love the spicy Tonkotsu! The broth is always perfectly seasoned for a delicious punch of flavor. Always silky smooth and packed with flavor. The spicy paste comes as a dollop on top so that you mix in yourself for your desired spicy liking. Let me say that it's a bonus that it comes with half a seasoned egg, which is great that you don't have to order it as an add-on! The consistency and flavor of the egg was superb. The pork belly chashu is really tender and perfectly seasoned. It comes with lots of veggies like wood ear mushrooms and bamboo shoots. I've seen Katsu Sando on menus at other joints, but I've never tried it before. I decided to give it a try for the first time ever... it blew my mind with how scrumptious it was! Honestly, I thought it would be good, but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT good. I could tell the pork was fresh right out of the fryer, hot and juicy. It was between bread with a barbecue and mayo aioli type sauce with cabbage. The place is intimate and the staff is always really friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying this spot for any ramen lovers!

Absolutely outstanding. Phenomenal. Exemplary. I have been to ramen spots up and down this diverse city, and Susuru easily claims a spot in my top two (will need to have a side-by-side to determine if it's supreme). The service was prompt, friendly, and accommodating. The ambiance was strong, with a basic and clean set up punctuated by their cute mascot. The bathroom was well-maintained and cleanly. The food was exceptional. The katsu sando was the best pork sandwich I've ever had; plain white bread slices contain the freshly fried pork with the crispy cabbage and perfect proportion of sauce. Absolutely dynamic flavor sensations. The ramen was to die for. Well cooked pork, rich sauce, and a perfectly cooked 1/2 egg for a meal that I would love to repeat over and over again. Can't wait for the opportunity to do so!10/10 would eat again.

The tonkotsu broth, meat, bamboo shoots stood out. Very rich! The noodles were kind of bland and the texture was just ok. Parking lot was impossible and took around 20min to find parking on a Sat night. Ceiling boards were dirty. I enjoyed the overall experience but probs would go somewhere else for ramen.

Ever had one of those days where you ask your friend, "Yo, I'll be in Griffith Park. Any cool ramen spots nearby?" And your friend doesn't have a clue but decides to crowdsource the question, only to unknowingly deliver to you the best ramen experience of your entire life? Because that happened to me today, and I'm not okay--I'm spiritually transformed. The Mayu Ramen from Susuru Ramen didn't just slap; it put me in a headlock, whispered sweet nothings into my soul, and then lovingly handed me a katsu sando that completed the combo. This isn't just a ramen spot; it's a temple to broth and noodles, one of the last places in Los Angeles with ramen that has a soul.It might've been the hunger talking, but 10/10, I would sell a kidney on the black market to eat here again. Honestly, I'm thinking about firing my therapist tomorrow because, thanks to Susuru, I don't think there's anything wrong with me anymore.
