In today's day of inflation and Los Angeles expenses, you really can't go wrong with the prices here. Yes, it may not be a sushi bar like Katsu-ya or Dojo, but for cheaper priced SushiStop this place is EXCELLENT! For a while, we were ordering from SushiStop via Postmates because their BOGO deals were hard to avoid...but now I'm a regular, and even been inside the restaurant few times.Eluvia is so sweet and funny! She always takes great care of us. Make sure you ask for her ...she only works at night! Favorite items:Popcorn shrimp rollLemon Salmon Roll Salmon Avocado rollShishito peppersPan fried gyoza

My son wanted to try out SushiStop and I chose to come to this location. I have been to the Burbank location twice but it was my first time here. Let's start to say how great the customer service was here, very attentive and friendly waiters. Overall the ambiance was great. Beautiful indoor space and some outdoor seating is available. I found parking on the street easily. We started with edamame, which was served hot, a seaweed salad I didn't like much, we ordered a few rolls The lemon roll was my most favorite I have to say. I ordered it twice. We also ordered a salmon roll, a tuna roll, tune poke hand rolls and a yuzu albacore roll. Everything tasted ok, I would say it's average sushi place but reasonably priced. My son enjoyed his lunch and said he would love to come back again with the whole family.

Sushi Stop gets the job done. We ordered a rainbow roll, lemon salmon roll, crunchy California roll, baked scallop roll and a pitcher of Sapporo. It's easy to order, food comes right out, and it's solid for the price. Highly recommend if you want casual sushi for a great deal.

SushiStop and Sushi Mac are the "comfortable" sushi spots. The days of the $2.50/plate are long gone - I remember getting 5-8 orders for under $20.Although I've visited Sushi Mac a lot, this was my second time going to SushiStop. I seem to remember they had a location near SushiMac, kinda before the Encino area on Ventura. The food was good enough - I was craving some cheap sushi and decided to try this place again. It's located in a strip mall plaza on the end, with a good amount of free parking. Parking spots are big/wide. I parked head out away from all the other cars at the way end, and when I came out someone decided to park their car literally 6 inches away from mine when there were other spots AND way more space to the left of their car. Had to slide in the driver's seat like I didn't have bones in my body which was truly annoying.. anywaysAt first glance it looks like one of the more upscale Japanese spots on Ventura. The chefs even yells when you enter and exit in Japanese (but there was only 1 Asian guy and the rest were Hispanic lol - not that I have any issue with that). I was immediately greeted by someone and I asked for takeout - was given a menu, order paper and pen. Already knew what I wanted so I gave the order paper to the next person who came by.Takeout order - Popcorn Shrimp Roll 4pcs ($4.70) = 5/5(Great taste all around, definitely order this) Eel Avocado Roll 8pcs ($6.80) = 4/5(Overcooked eel = mushy eel. Still tasted like how it should taste, no funky flavor. Hopefully it won't be overcooked next time) Chicken Teriyaki Bowl ($5.30) = 3.5/5(Good size portion. Decent quality chicken, not the best but definitely had way worse. Most pieces were moist and went well with the sauce. I can see why a lot of people might like this due to the sauce with a lot of white rice. Literally 1 piece of broccoli)Total was around $18.2_ but just like every other food location these days, an option for tip for takeout orders was on the receipt.Sandra was the one who gave me change and my food, as well as letting me know their dynamite sauce is just mayo - so I asked for their other sauce and she put in 2. She was all smiles, friendly and gave off no impatient vibes at all. Very easy on the eyes too..! HahaIf you're trying to get some good Americanized sushi at a reasonable price inside a very modern looking spot, definitely recommend SushiStop. Again, it is NOT like Kiwami or any of the $$$+ spots on Ventura. They DO have sashimi and hand rolls but honestly, I'm here for the comfortable sushi lol. First time date trying to impress? Probably not a great idea. Just want some good, quick, cheap sushi? Great idea.

Sushistop is outstanding! The variety of rolls and sashimi options are top-notch. The flavors are vibrant and well-balanced, making each bite a delight. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is casual and inviting. It's my go-to spot for delicious, high-quality sushi, and I can't recommend it enough!

I just left this establishment. I used to come here frequently but today the service was so bad. I came in with 2 teens and the wait staff would not accommodate us. There were 3 empty tables available but they refused to put the extra tables together for us because the other patrons whom had not gotten their food needed extra space is what they told us and wanted us to sit outside in the cold or wait for however it took them to finish their meals. I was so disappointed I just left. There is no way you should make customers wait or sit outside when there are empty tables. You should always make sure to fill all tables available. Especially in such a small environment. I was so disappointed. I will not be returning. There are much better options with better service to choose from in the area.

Decided to order this spot for the 1st time for delivery. They had some good deals on Postmates. The sushi were bite size, so on the smaller size. This is how I like them, so you get the full flavor in one bite. I did wish they had a simple Philadelphia roll. They had a few with cream cheese, yet not enough cream cheese for my taste. Not really sure if I would order from here again. Nothing really stood out to me.

Was served dirty plates with dry food crust immediately after sending dirty cups back -- manager truly couldn't have cared less. They've lost a regular customer for life.
