Because I didn't want to be too full in the evening, I opted to lunch omakase, rather than dinner omakase. It was $ 110 per person, and it was worth every cent.Omakase sitting is 8 seats only, and although there are dining tables too, the experience just isn't the same sitting at the table. The chef is Japanese, and the sous chef I found out was a Korean-American gentleman who speaks fluent everything - Japanese, English and Korean. They both carefully explained all of the fish, sauce and origins from the ingredient. For me it was my first time trying some of the acquired taste fishes, such as aji (Spanish mackerel), and it wasn't fishy at all, which is what differentiates this place from others I guess.Definitely will go back!

The lunch omakase as of November 2024 was amazing and priced for $110 per person. Dinner is around $140.Location: located on top of a multilevel building Parking: scarce street parking, best in garage Service was attentive and stellar by the chef. He has super hearing and we appreciated that he corrected wrong statements about the fish we were eating. He even opened the door for us to leave as we exited.Needless to say, each course was delicious with fish sourced from Toyosu, Japan. I would definitely return.

I came for a lunch omakase at $110 per person, and it's honestly very well-priced compared to other nearby omakase spots. Be sure to make a reservation, as there is a deposit fee. The quality and service are top-notch from start to finish. We were fortunate to sit at the bar, where the chefs were incredibly friendly and explained each dish. By the end of the meal, we were pleasantly full--not stuffed. There's also an option to add extra pieces for an additional charge.Parking can be challenging in Little Tokyo, but there's a parking garage for $15. If you plan on street parking, be sure to allow extra time before your reservation to find a spot.

A little hidden gem that I never knew about. Super under the radar..for me at least. Its in the Marukai market plaza on the 3rd floor. The restaurant is somewhat blocked by a little structure so its super easy to miss. They have different tiers of omakase--depending on whether you want a sushi version, sit at the bar or the table, those can all change the pricing. We got the lunch special omakase which is a GREAT DEAL for only $110. Booking was made on Tock a week prior. Parking is in the basement (they take venmo and cash). They seat you at the bar in the order you come in so unluckily for us, we were first and got the very end where you don't get birds-eye-view of the fish slicing.Actual omakase was great. Lots of delicious fish. It was a no frills omakase without all the gold flakes type of stuff. Chef was great at explaining each dish and very friendly. There was a unique signature roll that was very pretty. I do wish there was a more personalized spin on some of the dishes~to make the dishes more "unique" and stand out more. At the end, you're given an option to select additional sushi from their menu for extra $$. We opted to just try their dessert, the kombu ice cream with salt flakes. A hint of saltiness with sweetness. Pretty good. Their housemade yuzu drink was also pretty refreshing when paired with the meal. It was overall a nice, comfortable meal. Shared the place with my friends so they could hopefully try the place out.On a side note, they also seem to be single diner friendly ~saw a few "one-man-band" people and they ate happily.

First time trying omakase and it turned me into a sushi believer. Came here to celebrate a friend for his birthday, and wow did this place not disappoint! Located on the third floor of a multi-level plaza in Little Tokyo, it was like reaching the food equivalent of the pearly gates. The service staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the ambience is cozy, charming, and tidy. Although I can't quite remember what we had through a large selection of a la carte's, broths, and dessert, everything was perfect, unique, comforting, and lush with flavor. The presentation for everything served here is remarkable, with each dish boasting its own personality. Thanks for getting me into sushi after years of rejecting it!

My husband took me here for a lunch omakase to celebrate my birthday and I really enjoyed it.It is located on the 3rd floor of the plaza. There is structure parking underground but it is $15 as the restaurant doesn't validate for parking. You can get a validation from the market for 1hr but minimum spending is $25.I loved each piece of sushi and dish made by the chef. The texture and flavor were great.I got a housemade yuzu soda and it went very well with overall course. My husband got a hot sake and it was good too.The chef was very nice and welcoming.I think the price of $110 is very reasonable for this quality of omakase. Will definitely recommend checking out if you are a sushi lover :)

Nigiri omakase at sushi bar! Comes with 13 pieces of Edomae style nigiri, 4-5 small dishes, and 2 desserts. Chefs were super friendly and brought out a giant slab of toro to show their dry aging process! Yuzu and shiso flavors were my favorite overallStarted with tako in a bonito abalone broth + plum and sake reduced dipping sauce and then went straight into the nigiri, with a few palette cleansers in between. First time tasting creamy, non-fishy uni (life-changing I must say). Overall very good and as a sushi lover I would definitely come back. $160pp - the attention to detail, quality, and experience is worth a try

Probably one of the best high-quality omakase meals you can get for $140 in LA. Really impressed with this place and will definitely be back! Happy to discover this spot, and I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! Service was also excellent, very polite and attentive waiters.
