This restaurant does not take reservations, so if you want to sit at your preferred sushi bar seat, you need to arrive 30-40 minutes before opening and wait in line. As usual, we arrived 40 minutes early today and waited in line. However, when the doors opened, we were told we couldn't sit at the four empty seats in front of the sushi chef we wanted, so we had to wait for another hour. Those seats, which were not offered to us, were taken by four people who seemed to be regular customers. Since it's the owner's restaurant, he can run it as he pleases, but it felt unfair and unprofessional to give special treatment in a non-reservation restaurant while others waited outside. What made things worse was the rude attitude of the person working at the counter, who we heard is the owner's son. He spoke to us bluntly, saying we could either take the remaining seats or keep waiting. His lack of hospitality was upsetting. To make matters worse, we saw another customer discreetly slipping a tip into the manager's hand to secure a three-person sushi bar seat before leaving. It was disappointing to witness such favoritism.Even though this restaurant is popular for its delicious food, I wish the owner would treat all customers with kindness and fairness. My one star only reflects to their management skills and customer service. Their food is 4 stars.
