Sushi Corner

With all the sushi places in this area, I'd say by far Sushi Corner is one of the best! Me and my friends love it here, it has a homey ambiance, but a really good spot for Fancied up sushi rolls, and great appetizers. They have a lot of variety on their menu. They now have photos of all the rolls on the menu so you can see what they look like and it's pretty impressive! The quality and consistency is always there as I've been coming for years. The service is always lovely and they're very nice. It's definitely a treat to come here, and you won't be disappointed! This place was a pleasant surprise. The sushi is pretty fresh for their prices. The service was fast and friendly. Crazy rock shrimp - this was the only thing that I wouldn't order again. I didn't like the taste of the sauce and the shrimp tasted overly fried Nigiri - we tried tuna, bluefin, scallop and yellowtail belly. Each order was under $10 and they were all pretty good and big portion Hand rolls - spicy tuna roll was good Temaki Cut rolls - we tried yellowtail and spicy tuna. Both were delicious and filling We will be coming back when we want good sushi near our place without a long wait. It's that place that I could see becoming a regular place without break the bank account

Still our fave sushi place! I think my favorite thing about Sushi Corner is their consistency. Whether we dine in or pick up, the food is always just as good, packaged well, and the udon is HOT. Faves: Lemon roll, salmon sushi, full moon, dark angel, dynamite appetizer, spicy tuna, fresh wasabi (yes they have the real deal you can order on the side), shrimp tempura, udon.Their lunch specials are a fantastic deal, too, and the thai iced tea is darn good.The inside is cute, bathrooms are clean, and my son loves watching the TV they have youtube baking videos playing. The other TV almost always has sports on. They play music at a nice soft volume too; loud enough to hear the lyrics, but not so loud you can't have a good conversation with your table. The wait staff is always friendly, food is out quickly, and my husband has never had an issue with his food allergy in the dozens of orders we've eaten here since they opened. I wish more places took as much care and pride in their work as they do at Sushi Corner.

Service is fast, food is tasty and happy hour is great. We got a ton of food for a great price.

**HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE***Stopped in to have sushi after work solo. I had a horrible day and just wanted a few moments of happiness.Sat down at sushi bar, and so did another man, alone. NOBODY else there- EMPTY. Sushi Chef's all asked him his for order. I watched it go down. Nobody asked mine- fine.Im used to this behavior- they see a female and assume I am waiting for someone because GOD FORBID a FEMALE can dine solo and order and pay for themselves? I need an orchestra & a red carpet to dine many assume. Manager (I think?) came by, took drink orders and was walking passed- I Figured this is my opportunity for assistance. I said " HI! Im ready to order please"He put his had up and said "CAN YOU WAIT???" Umm.Hello? He could have said:"Hi! Welcome, one moment please!""Hey! How is it going? Ill be right with you!""One second please""What the EFF is up with your hair color? Ill be right with you!!""Did you see Taylor at Kelce's game on Sunday?"I grabbed my purse and replied "SORRY! Not going to deal with this. I cant deal with this sh*t today"He replied "huh?Okay ! I dont care! BYE!"yes Bye! I NEVER pull the YELP ELITE card but I am now...ciao~!

Excellent lil family-run sushi spot with a fantastic refreshing lemon role. It's a super small place, so I see it getting busy for lunch, but worth a stop. Friendly staff, great food, limited parking, kinda nasty bathroom.

Sushi Corner used to be Sushi Joint! It's a nice restaurant for lunch!I had the Lunch Combination $14.95 choose any 2 items from list: Shrimp Vegetable Tempura, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki, Spicy Tuna Roll or California Roll. Served with miso soup, salad and rice. I chose the Shrimp Vegetable Tempura and California Roll which was very good. I liked that they give you a little container of tempura sauce now!! The previous owner did not!One of my daughters ordered the Corner Sushi Set $14.95: 6 pieces of sushi: Salmon, Tuna, Albacore, Tamago, Shrmp, Yellowtail) and 4pcs of California Roll. Another daughter had plain udon soup $9 with a side of cooked rolls. Spider Roll that was deep fried Soft Shell crab, gobo, served with pinch sauce

Great little sushi joint in a strip mall in Glendale/Burbank. The fish wasn't out of this world in terms of freshness but I didn't feel worried about food poisoning or anything. Yummy rolls and lovely decor inside.

Sushi Corner, what can I say, sushi goodness! Fresh fish, yummy rolls, quick and awesome service, decent prices. I usually don't leave LA for sushi but I would make an exception to drive to Glendale for Sushi Corner. There's a sushi bar for your quick lunches, there's plenty of parking and make sure to check on reservations if you have a big party. Looking forward to my next sushi dinner at the Corner. Credit card okay. Free parking.

Sushi Corner has a new name and new management, but they still have great food and excellent service. Every sushi roll we had was full of flavor and fresh. The staff was always available to make sure our dining experience was comfortable. The restaurant has a high open ceiling and windows all around, so the space feels large.
