Sunny's Sushi Hut

Loveeeee their spicy tuna crispy rice. I always order on uber eats and everything still feels super fresh when it arrives. Their combo meal is super good. My favorite is the mixed tempura and crispy chicken. All the rolls are delicious also. Super reasonably priced. I've only picked up my order or had it delivered but they are always nice!

Food was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but nothing scary either. Service was OK as well. We came fairly late on a Friday. There are only a few tables. There is absolutely no atmosphere. It is in a little strip mall next to the North Hollywood police station. There is parking.

Cute little place with great service and yummy sushi. Our first time here but definitely not our last one.

I ordered previously through UberEats, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I ordered unagi and yellowtail collar. The quality is fantastic, plus the prices are so fair. I went to pick up the food to meet the owner/chef, his name is Sunny, a big dude, really cool.I like sushi from Kura to Nobu. This place is a real gem.

I normally order delivery from Sunny's, so it was nice to actually stop into the shop to pick up my order. Hidden away in a small strip mall near a 7-11 right off the 170 highway, this tiny sushi spot is a gem. Intimate, you can see right into the kitchen where the chef is tackling his latest sushi order. No traditional counter, but I wouldn't miss it if I dined in. It's good vibes in there. In a world of rising restaurant prices, I believe Sunny's has the perfect balance of price and quality. The fish is always fresh, never has an odor (except of deliciousness), and is presented neatly in the takeout containers - even after when I receive my orders via delivery from Postmates. Some favorites are the Rainbow Roll, the Eel and Avocado Roll, and Chirashi Roll. The Crispy Tuna is pretty good, too (and is often featured as a free appetizer when you spend $40 or more on Postmates).TIP: They've got a small lot which wasn't packed at all. You shouldn't have a problem finding a spot. Do yourself a favor support this local biz! You'll save a few dollars while still getting delicious sushi :)

this is my favorite hole in the wall sushi spot in noho. my little hidden gem! it's my go to when i'm craving sushi. the prices are so good and the quality is surprisingly great! i always get the salmon cut roll for take out and it has the perfect chunk of salmon and it's so fresh. love this place! also came and ate in with a friend recently and it was the perfect lunch date in their tiny dining room. great service too!

We love this place!! Service is great and accommodating, the food is fresh and delicious. They are quite reasonable compared to other sushi restaurants. It's quite small, four to five tables, tucked in a back corner and you'd never see it driving by. They still have a lot of business, especially to go phone orders and delivery apps. We've been a few times and I actually crave it. Love that it's close by to us.

This used to be one of our favorite Friday places for years. Used to be great food & super friendly service. The waiter knew our orders by heart, and we've always talked about the concerts & other shows we both attended. And then one day, bam, under a new management. We've tried to stick around, and it wasn't bad, not the same, but not bad. But yesterday we were refused to dine in! Not a single table was taken, not a single customer inside, but the young lady there said they're only doing delivery & pick up orders because they are busy! Way to ruin your business! Way to turn your regular customers away. We don't plan on returning... unless the new management gets their act together!

Fast delivery and fresh sushi!Couldn't be more happy with the couple of house made sushi rolls we ordered!

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!Apparently Sunny went back to China.We will have to wait and see what the new reviews have to say.
