We went on a cold Saturday night, at around 9:30 pm. What a perfect way to cap the night by having hot, delicious soup. Our party of 6 waited for about 5 minutes before we were seated, which was surprising, since we know this place gets packed! We got 3 of the Galbi Tang, one Tta Roh Guk Bap (- spicy!!) and their special Koh Galbi Jjim. Everything was so delicious and so satisfying. Their food is highly recommended. I will definitely keep coming back and will being more family and friends to Sun Nong Dan.

I've been here a few times for their Sulung Tang, but this was my first time trying their Koh Galbi Jjim and it was delicious and flavorful!I went with a group of 5 and the Koh Galbi Jjim was the only thing we ordered. The dish was packed with flavor and the meat was so tender and the other items in the dish were delicious as well. We had plenty of leftovers (we're all athletes/ex-athletes so we eat a lot) and with the bill split evenly amongst us, I would say it's well worth the price! We went on a Wednesday night and there was a little bit of a wait, but besides that, the staff were friendly and were quick to attend to our needs. I will definitely be back to try more items on their menu!

First time trying the Sun Nong Dan in Rowland Heights. The location is smaller than the San Gabriel one but luckily it wasn't as busy. There was no wait time and the staff was very attentive on making sure our waters are filled and our sides are full. The Koh Galbi Jjim was flavorful and packed with meat, potatoes, carrots, onions, and rice cakes. I felt like we didn't get as much rice cakes as they usually give. The Kim chi and pickled chives pair so well with the braised meat and flavor. Would recommend only getting the Koh Galbi Jjim if you are with 4-5 people because it is a lot of food

The galbi Jim is amazing. It's so juicy, so tender and it packs a bit of heat depending on the spice level you choose. I got the large and it was enough for 4 people. I also got the galbi tang which was also made with juicy and tender meat. The soup was incredibly fragrant and one of the best galbi tang I've ever had! The banchan here is always plentiful and fresh.

Visited on New Year's Day, around 9:30am (in time to catch their early morning specials on select stews!)As expected they were fairly busy inside but, probably busier with their to go orders. Given New Year's Day is a heavily celebrated Korean holiday involving many families enjoying breakfast/brunch together. My table ordered a variety of stews. Spicy beef #13 (yukaejang) beef soup #1 (sulungtang) short rib soup #7 (galbitang) ox knee soup #4 (doganitang) Now don't knock it till you try it! I know the ox knee soup sounds intimidating but it's just a rich beef soup with cartilage. If you enjoy texture, think like tripe in your pho, you're probably gonna love this. The food is always solid, and I will say it always tastes better when you dine in. Their radish kimchi, kimchi, and pickles vegetables that come as your sides are always unmatched. Each soup comes with one bowl of rice (choice of white or purple which is a healthier rice with beans) and additional bowls of rice are $2The ambiance was loud but not overwhelming. The servers were friendly but busy so don't mistaken them as being rude, they're just trying to keep up.If you're in the area this is a must visit for a quality traditional Korean meal of soup and rice.

My experience was from a delivery app, but I had to post since the food, packing, and condiments blew me away. Ordered the Won Gi Tang and it came with so much meat, it was good for 2-3 meals. The banchan for a delivery order was pretty awesome as well. Will definitely try again and hope to try in person next time.

Amazing! I liked the soup #2, #6, #7, and the galbi jjim.Don't forget to use salt for some of the soups, some are tasteless without salt but taste amazing after adding salt. All the food is good. Place is nice

First meal I had off the plane and it slapped!Stopped by Monday ~11:30am. The place wasn't packed so we got seated immediately. Since it was a weekday, the place was mainly filled with an older audience and was more quiet and chill. What we got:- Chadol Sulung Tang ~the both was really milky. With salt, pepper, and green onions, the flavor was simple but fulfilling. Comes with glass noodles, which was a plus on my end!-Galbi Tang ~ which was deep in flavor with fall off the bone meat. Served with glass noodles, this soup was definitely my favorite! Of all the Korean tang places I've tried, this was pretty authentic and I can see the hype it holds. Definitely now one of my top 3 places I'd go to for Galbi Tang and or Sulung Tang. Will definitely return when I'm in the area!
