Studio Sushi

I am updating my review for Studio Sushi from 4 stars to 5 stars!! Yes. This place deserves 10 stars from the last time that I was there back in 03/ 2023. Since then, I have gone to Studio Sushi several times but didn't write or update my review. I truly think it is time to update/alter my review again. I was there on February 11, 2025 around 7pm and as I walked in there was only one couple there and I thought they were closing for some reason. Got a nice welcome from the chef with a warm smile and the host took me to my table. Let me start by saying how fresh, beautiful, and delicious their sushi is. By saying beautiful is the way they serve it to you in their plates that is also unique and pretty in it's own way. I PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DETAIL!! Comes my server Kwyn, with a very warm, keen, friendly... yet professional attitude and took my order. He even brought me a small cup of COMPLIMENTARY miso soup because it was cold, but I didn't want to eat a whole big bowl of soup; because I was more in the mood for their sushi. I ordered Spicy Popper Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Yaki Udon. Everything tasted divine. Nice portions and had some left overs to take home and enjoyed them the following day. Everybody over there is sooooooo nice and friendly. I fell like I am part of their work family. Joseph always stops by to say hello and we carry a small conversation from here and there. It makes my dining experience more pleasant and welcoming. Place is clean, super clean, cozy, welcoming and the patio is also great on a warm sunny day or night! Thank you staff at Studio Sushi. I will be back when I am craving Sushi, Udon, soup, or anything else in between:-))Keep up the good work! Consistency is the key to run/own a successful business!

Is this low key my new sushi spot? Yes. Am I gonna try gate keep this spot for myself? I wish. But they deserve all the business! Obvi this spot is well known for many but for me I was always curious when in and around the neighborhood. Thank god I finally gave it a shot! All the dishes were fantastic. We got the miso soup, crispy rice with spicy tuna. Moved on to the cbs roll and the studio roll (THAT TRUFFLE THO) and finished with the hand roll mix that we devoured and unfortunately didn't get a pic of (blue crab, yellow tail and my fav the shrimp tempura and avocado). Service was so friendly and attentive. Ambiance is cozy and casual. Pro tip: call in advance to put your name down for the waitlist. Took about 20 mins for a table but no biggie! It was worth it!! 10/10 will be back and will not gate keep I PROMISE.

Always reliable, friendly, fast. So much comp in the area & you may miss the spot, outside is not updated but worth the trip. Pricing has gone up but still cheaper than other nearby sushi restaurants, and the portions are not as large as other places, but the location, hospitality & flavors are still simple & consistently great. Vegetable gyoza, Crispy rice spicy yellowtail & Black sea bream are amazing.

I've been a regular for years. This place deserves all the stars. The sushi is beyond delicious, the fish is always fresh, the service is fantastic & the restaurant has the coziest feel.

Studio sushi has become our new favorite go-to spot! All the food is so fresh and tasty. The service is amazing too, staff is so kind and friendly. Also for what you're getting, it's pretty affordable compared to other sushi spots. Highly recommend you check it out! It's tough to stand out as a sushi restaurant in the Valley, but Studio Sushi really does!

I couldn't be more impressed with this subtley hidden restaurant behind little Ventura Boulevard. The food was spectacular to say the least. We got the CBS roll. (SUPERB!)Blue Crab & Scallop roll (Great!)Then they have a handmade handroll deal of 3x rolls for $16.We couldn't resist so we got to choose from yellowtail, salmon, albacore, etc.The service was impeccable.The property was pristine.The parking is the only one you have to prepare for as it has limited parking in the lot and in the neighborhood.But I'm still a fan of this place!

Another amazing visit to Studio Sushi! Having a reservation, we were seated right away. They expanded the menu a little since my last visit which means even more reason to come back. This visit we had: Yuzu Tea (citrus and refreshing) 5*Star roll 5**Albacore crispy onion 5**Albacore sashimi with garlic chili oil 5**Tempura veggie 5Giant scallop 5Presentation always on point, but more importantly flavor is perfection on every dish. A place I crave when I want sushi. It's a drive for me, but luckily I have many friends who live in the area so always a good reason to visit and get my sushi fix.

Studio Sushi is the most delicious sushi I've had in LA, and I've been to a lot of sushi places. The service and the entire crew here is amazing and the sushi hits every time. Super fresh, super staff.
