I recently had dinner at STK in Westwood, my first visit since the pandemic. Back then, the restaurant was by the pool, but the new location maintains a chic and stylish ambience. The lighting was quite dim--almost too dark to read the menu--but our fantastic server, Leo, quickly brought over a table lamp, setting the perfect mood while making it easier to see.We started with cocktails before Leo walked us through the specials. He then brought out STK's signature pull-apart bread, served warm with melted butter and blue cheese--an indulgent and flavorful start. For an appetizer, my date and I shared the Crispy Calamari, which was perfectly cooked with a light crunch and just the right amount of heat from the shishito peppers. For our entrées, we both chose steaks: my date had the 6 oz Petite Filet, while I went for the 10 oz Ribeye Filet. Both were cooked exactly to our requested temperatures and packed with incredible flavor. We paired them with Creamed Spinach and Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes--both rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. When it came time for dessert, Leo tempted us with two standout options: the Bag O' Donuts and the Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce. Naturally, we couldn't choose just one--so we ordered both! No regrets there. From the outstanding food to the exceptional service, STK delivered an amazing dining experience. I highly recommend it for a special night out.

Came here to just celebrate life and it did not disappoint. So I advise to make reservations because this place is very popular. They also have a valet parking out front. But come early, at least 30-45 minutes earlier, there was a line waiting for valet and they also mentioned it's possible that parking can be full. The valet was very nice. Don't forget to get your ticket stamped before leaving. The front entrance to the W hotel is nice and the restaurant is on the first floor. It's a tad congested as some of the seating are small tables, kinda bunched together. But it was still a nice setting. The dj was rocking some classic r&b and hip hop during the meal and it was a cool atmosphere. Our server was nice. Not as attentive mainly because it seemed very busy there, this past weekend (Valentine's Day). The food was good. I would say it's extremely overpriced. But it was cool to have said I've been to an STK. The drinks were good as well. I had an old fashion. Which was also extremely overpriced. 2 drinks, 2 main meals, 1 side dish plus wagyu rice was almost $500. So be prepared when coming here. Overall, great time anyway.

Went here before catching a production at the Geffen. We usually go to a couple other restaurants, but I discovered that there was a STK at the bottom of the W so we thought we'd check it out. The ambience was a little too clubby (i.e. music too loud) for a steakhouse for me. The place is big and you definitely feel like you are sitting in a chain restaurant BUT the food is good. Over priced? Very. I mean 2 cocktails are $46? 6 oysters are nearly $6 a piece. I had the steak and shrimp and while my filet was cooked perfectly he didn't really have its own juices to give it a bite that doesn't need sauce. This steak needs a sauce. I tried 3 of their sauces and they were all terrible. Their Chilean sea bass was incredible though. It LITERALLY melted in my mouth. Mind blowing. The staff was very attentive and got us out to our show in time. Like I said, the food IS good. Be prepared to pay A LOT for it. Our bill for two people was over $400. Glad we checked it out but I don't think I'd eat here again in the main restaurant. Might try the more burger joint that is attached to it in the lobby.

Ladies night out ? Heck Yes! Met up with Yelpie buddies to check this place out after previously being introduced to their product at yelp elite events. The expectation was set and i wanted to personally check this place out. Located in Westwood, Los Angeles. please note there is not much street parking as its near by UCLA and that can be a challenge. My recommendation would be to do valet; $24 if you pay in the lobby of the hotel or $26 if you pay with the valet attendant. The valet attendant was kind and offered to walk me under the umbrella so that i would not get wet! ( it was raining ) Upon entering you are beautifully greeted with great art work in the lobby of the W hotel.. if you walk on down and make a left you are at the entrance of STK! I checked in for our reservation of 4 people but only 3 attended. Our party was not all there yet so i waited at the bar and ordered a drink! Finally our party was here and i was was ready to have a nice meal! Our server brough over a complimentary bread and oil to the table. that was delicious. Hints of blue cheese was really good. ( I'm not a fan of blue cheese, well, only a little bit) Our party opted for the Dine LA experience to which they had a preset menu for us at a cost of $55 per person. I had the following Staters: 1. Tuna Tartare Tacos (3) - Hass avocado, taro shell, soy honey emulsion. Very fresh and delicious. the taro shell gave it that crunch! Entree: 1. Ribeye (additional $16 upcharge to the $55 ) with my sides being parmesan truffle fries at (additional $10 ). My ribeye was cooked perfectly though it lacked seasoning even after the truffle garlic butter they flamed over my steak after serving it. it dint do much. now the parmesan truffle fried were the star of the night! They were perfect! Dessert: baked apple crumble with salted caramel ice cream. our deserts took for what seemed like a very long time to wait for maybe 25 mins or so after finishing our meal. dessert was okay i was looking for more of the breaded goodness The ambiance of this was establishment was nice and its aesthetically pleasing! would i come back.. I'm undecided.

My "Yelpies" friends and I decided to join in during the dineLA week deals; when you reserve through dineLA, they donate portions towards the wildfires in LA. So, of course STK steakhouse was listed there and decided to give them a try, why not?I was impressed during the "818 Valley Relics" event, where STK made a pop up appearance and they were serving the juiciest/ tender pork chops, which was melting in my mouth with every bite. So from there on, I wanted to visit the restaurant and last night, I indeed made it, even under the rain. It is located in Westwood, and not much street parking available, so Valet is the way to go. Plan ahead as you will pay for valet and your fancy dinner shenanigans. But, once in a while, it doesn't hurt your pockets. Valet staff is friendly and are working hard to pull up everyone's cars. The restaurant itself is located inside the "W" hotel, upon walking in, it is nicely dimmed inside, cute interior décor, comfy seating and appears very clean. You make a left then a right, and you are at STK entrance. The ladies in the reception area were very nice towards me and let me know my party was already here at the bar waiting for me to show up. Then, I met with the girlies, and we were taken over to our table. Partnering with dineLA, STK steakhouse had a pre-fixed menu that will end today, and their regular menu as well. I checked out both menus and decided to go with the pre-fixed one as it came with more variety for me to taste. As we waited for our dinner to be served, the waiter came over with their amazing and warm garlic/blue cheese bread; it tasted soo good! 5/5For the starter: I went with the "Lil' Brgs" it included two mini Wagyu burgers, on sesame buns and their special sauce, which (elevated the burgers). The meat patties retained their juice, tender and delicious as well as a cute presentation. I enjoyed every bite and I recommend for sure: 5/5For my Entrée: I went with the steakhouse skirt, I asked for "medium-well" and it was served with confit fingerling (seasoned potatoes), their steak sauce (it did not taste like chimichurri to me) Honestly, the meat itself on the outside appeared well done, but when I started to cut my pieces with my knife, it was a bit tough; low-and-behold, the meat was more on the medium-rare side. It was a bit tough to chew thoroughly, juicy, but not as tender as I expected it to be.For my side: I went with the "Yukon gold mashed potatoes" but it was a letdown; mash potatoes was more puree and texture reminded me of instant boxed mashed potatoes with a nice burn on top. 3/5 for this whole entrée experience. Dessert: cheesecake served with raspberries and syrup, a side of brown sugar. 3/5 nothing spectacular. The best tasting items that night went for: the Wagyu lil brgs, parmesan truffle fries(delicious, regret not getting this side instead), tuna tartare tacos (fresh tuna) 5/5.I also ordered their old fashion cocktail and I enjoyed the drink, however, I recommend that the bar serves this drink with a sphere ice cube because regular ice melted quickly and watered down my drink. 2/5Ambiance was ok, our table did not have a candle lit, a minor delicate touch, so for me, that was a letdown as well. Everyone else's tables had a nice candle lit. Not sure if I would come back here as it was just an "ok" experience for me. Lastly, the table was wobbly and that could have caused an accident like drink spills, etc. probable cause for not lighting up the tiny candle that sat starring at me during the night unlit.

Now, the ambiance is wonderful! However, I only went to the outside bar which was nice sat right by the waterfall and I loved the bar and pool scene as well as the fire place. The customer service was amazing I'll give that 5 stars! Now the food, I would only give 2-3 stars for the bean bites with sauce, and 4 stars for the tater tots! The fries and beef plate lol really 6 fries lol, that was 3 stars. We ordered off the happy hour menu at 2:30pm because I wasn't hungry! I'm vegan day 12! So I only ate non meat bites. Would I be back? Yes. I liked seeing the W hotel haven't been to this location and I wanna see the inside portion of STK... I'm curious now! I'll give a solid 4 stars!

We had an amazing experience at STK. the restaurant is located inside of the W hotel. There is free parking located outside of the restaurant and also metered and valet parking available. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a Photo Booth available for pictures and videos. The ambiance and decor is amazing but the staff are even better. Leo was our waiter and he took great care of us. He was so attentive and provided excellent customer service. We ordered the tuna tartare, fried calamari, short ribs, lobster pasta, lamb chops, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was 10/10! I highly recommend STK. Thanks Leo!
