Such cool vibes here, reminds me of when I was in Thailand! The place is a mix of traditional and fusion Thai flavors. It was packed inside during a weekend night, so we were seated outside. The dishes were all very flavorful and fresh! I would say the highlight of the meal was the roti and green curry , which were very different than what I usually order, it was flaky and warm! Typically asking for mild spicy from papaya salad comes out extremely spicy at Thai restaurants but at this restaurant, it's actually mild. Fried chicken were juicy and piping hot. We also ordered the comforting Khao Soi, which was more of a flavorful thick soup with noodles. The alcoholic cocktails were unique and Thai-inspired, but a bit tad sweet. Overall I recommend any of the food and drinks there, you can't go wrong on any of them!

First time trying this place and everything tasted amazing! We came on a Saturday for a late dinner and there were plenty of seats. We also got lucky with street parking nearby but during rush hour it may be more difficult to find parking. Next door, they have a bar with live music and it was packed. We sat on the restaurant side and a server came by to take our drink and food order right away. What we ordered:papaya salad - very delicious and not too sweet. I only wish the shreds were thinner but flavor wise was perfect. Mild was not spicy at allroti and green curry - cooked very unique. Roti was very flaky and buttery. Definitely a must try!crying tiger - the juiciest and softest steak and also comes with a side of papaya salad. Probably one of my favorites of everything we orderedFried Chicken wings - the absolute best fried chicken. It was juicy and perfectly fried. If you love fried chicken, it's a must orderKao soi - they fill it to the brim! Very filling and well worthEverything here was so unique and different from other Thai places I've tried. Highly recommend trying this spot out and will definitely be back to try their other menu items, as well as check out their bar next door!

Came here with a party of 11. The hostess informed us it would be a 30-35 minute wait and she would be able to seat our party in the patio area.We got drinks at the bar to kill time, but noticed two parties just sitting in the patio area with no food. After 40 minutes, we inquired with the hostess how much longer it would take since she informed us 30-35 minutes and it didn't look like the party was leaving although they had no food or drinks left. The hostess informed another worker that they had to clear the party but the buss lady had the nerve to say, well you don't have a reservation. Excuse me? I'm a customer and your establishment informed me that the wait was only 30-35 minutes and we waited for 50 minutes with the parties still sitting around. Honestly, would've waited for the parties to clear but after the buss lady got defensive and argumentative, it wasn't worth waiting anymore. Such a disappointment,

Do NOT! underestimate how spicy they can make their dishes here lmfao. If you like your noodles spicy, you'll love Sticky RiceThe menu is small but full of promising dishes. Between my friend and I, we had the drunken noodles, veggie egg rolls and some other noodles that I can't remember (sorry). So I primarily got the drunken noodles and asked for them spicy. I enjoy spicy foods and eat it regularly, but Sticky Rice was VERY generous with the heat and it made it too difficult to finish my dish LOL. I drank like two full cups of water to ease my tastebuds and had to tap out. The noodles were great, though!!Veggie rolls were good and full of mushroom. It paired well with the sweet/sour sauce it comes withThe waiters here are nice. They're not super in your face but do check in every so often to see if you need anything

After a hike at Echo Park, my amiga took me here for dinner. Small, chill vibe Thai restaurant. We were seated quickly - indoor style makes me feel as if I'm back in Asia but less humid (: There's a small bar (Spirit House) separated by a curtain from the dining area. Food is amazing - the spices and flavors are all there. The plate servings are generous and perfect to share. We had the Thai Fried Rice, Boat Noodles ... spicy!, Fresh Shrimp Rolls to share for a party of (2) and we were full! with enough to pack home. There's a nice outdoor seating as well. Excited to come back to try out their curry dishes! and try one of the cocktails from Spirit House (:

Been here a multitude of times, it's a small space with a lot of personality. The food is tasty, portions are reasonable and is served fairly quickly. The outside patio is nice to sit while eating to people watch if you're into that

My party decided to check out this place because it was one of the only eateries open on this stretch of Sunset Blvd on a Tuesday evening at 4PM. It is within walking distance of the Dodger's Stadium, so it would make a decent option for anyone looking to eat before a game. I've walked by this establishment many times before, and it seems like a pretty popular place. It's a small restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. In terms of service, we were seated right away on the patio. We order pad thai with tofu to share. Of note, the menu only says that you have to pay extra for meats (e.g. chicken, beef, pork) on the back of the menu, so someone who is looking over the menu quickly may easily miss this and become unpleasantly surprised when they receive the bill. I only noticed this because a previous Yelp review had complained of this being an issue (thank you to that reviewer). A suggestion for improvement may be to include this info on the front of the menu as well, so that it may be more obvious to customers. We also wanted to try the mango sticky rice but unfortunately they had run out.Regarding the pad thai: the noodles were chewier and much saucier than other pad thai dishes I've had at other restaurants; this is not a negative thing, and I enjoyed trying a new version. However, it was very, very salty. I'm glad I shared the dish with two other people because otherwise I don't think I would have been able to finish it. Given that some of the other reviews also mentioned the food being very salty, I think the restaurant chefs may want to consider reducing their use of sodium. Additionally there was very little tofu in the dish. I think I only had two or three pieces of tofu in my share of the dish.

What a neighborhood joy and a great place to bring friends for lunch. This little gem gets popular but they have efficient service down pat. The food is great and so flavorful and colorful and the cocktails are unusual and fun. Here's cheers to sitting on the patio for a fun meal.

Crying Tiger Entree / marinated skirt steak, papaya salad, sticky rice, spicy jeaw sauce - 5!Recently, I was in Echo Park and was ready for lunch but I didn't have a destination already in mind. Rather than go online, I took a quick walk around to see what caught my eye and I found Sticky Rice. I was very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is built into a space that allows them to create what is essentially a large, covered patio. Even the indoor seating benefits from their open air space. I chose to sit on the patio and it was a lovely place to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of Echo Park. The decor is charming and colorful and includes a lot of art. There is a huge mural on the side of the building. The server was friendly, attentive and helpful.I went with Crying Tiger, a marinated steak dish. This was the best steak dish I've had in a long time. The marinade was citrusy, fresh and well balanced. It was paired with a spicy jaew sauce that was a perfect match for the perfectly cooked steak. I was so enamored with the dish, I nearly ordered another one.The steak came with a light , crispy, tasty papaya salad and their sticky rice. I am not sure if I was supposed to, but I doused the sticky rice with the jeaw sauce. Every component was delicious and the ingredients were fresh and well prepared.I loved my visit to Sticky Rice and look forward to visiting them again. For Echo Park, street parking is very challenging but there are a number of large, public parking lots just behind Sunset.

I love sticky rice, a friend was visiting and we went for a walk to consider other options for dinner but in the end sticky rice could not be denied. Nothing else would satisfy, we arrived famished, parched, and the ingratiating hostess welcomed us with open arms. Delicious as always.
