Had a great time at Stella! The calamari was delicious, but I would skip the aioli, it was a bit too eggy. The Carpaccio di Branzino was fresh, though a little more salt and a touch of lemon zest would have given it a " wow" factor. The Mortadella Pizza was the star of the night! The staff were lovely, Shawn at the downstairs bar crafted exceptional drinks, and if you can, definitely request to sit downstairs for a totally different vibe. Will definitely be coming back.

Where to start? Terrible food, wayyy too overpriced and stingy pours with their wines. They had 3 seperate charges for our martinis.1) Vodka2) Martini3) The cherry on the top was the extra charge for the olives on top...like what???? The pistachio cake was absolutely disgusting. Not sure what right minded chef would make that their signature dessert.Do yourself a favor and find another restaurant in Who.

I live close by so I have been tracking Stella since it opened. It's a high-end Italian restaurant specializing in Northern Italian food located in southern Beverly Hills. Every review that I've seen for it has been really solid so I have been really looking forward to trying it and finally got my chance this MLK Jr holiday weekend. They offer valet parking but honestly, it's really easy to find street parking in this part of town, which we were able to do about a half block away. Inside is beautiful and very dark and very moody. It's the great sort of place to bring a date or someone you want to impress. Our server was very polite and everything that we ordered arrived fairly quickly. The only downside is that it is expensive so I would suggest it more for a celebratory dinner if you are on a budget. The menu is filled with a lot of great options, so it was very hard to choose what we wanted to order for our first visit. We decided to start off with the Burrata and Black Truffles and thought it was wonderful. It came with a lot of silky, smooth burrata and was covered in truffles so the flavor combination was truly great. Next step came the Bison Tartare and this was wonderful. The bison was very lean but rich in flavor and honestly this was a real hit at the table. The egg yolk mixed in really added to the flavors and I already want to order it again. Finally for my entrée I ordered the Su Filindeu because the menu mentioned it was the world's rarest pasta and honestly anything in a bone broth is great to me. This dish was kind of weird but honestly delicious. The lamb inside the broth was extremely tender and juicy and really added to the flavors and it's very rare that I can try a pasta dish for my first time given that I am Italian and have tried pretty much every type of pasta out there so I was very pleased to try this new dish and really enjoyed it.Overall a fantastic Italian restaurant in a beautiful part of Los Angeles. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great dinner location or to anyone that wants to have a memorable meal in Sunny LA.

The food was delicious, the ambiance was great. My fiancé brought me here to celebrate an early Valentine's Day dinner (two nights prior). We loved everything but I lowered a star because although the service was good overall, the lemonade he ordered came after most of the dishes had already been completed. And, we waited, what felt like 20min or more (it could've been) for the steak to reach our table. Everything before it came so perfectly on time, but it was the last thing and it took so long.

Beautiful restaurant. Food was great , however it took a very long time to get our main courses and we had to cancel some dishes. Came in for a Birthday celebration and even tho the restaurant knew we were here for a birthday celebration on a group of 8 guests they still didn't even send a cake to the table.Very disappointing.

We had a nice dinner at Stella! I loved the service- they were very attentive and the presentation is lovely. We got the branzino carpaccio which is carved table side and the olive oils were very nice that they add on top. Overall I would say the food is okay! We had the burrata with caviar, a few of their pastas including the lobster (I felt the lobster portion was fair, it just wasn't anything special), and the pistachio cake for dessert. The cake is very pricy but it was really not good- it's a weird icing and it is just absolutely filled with pistachios and not a lot of cake. Would definitely skip!Overall it's a nice place but very pricy and just okay food!

The food and services here is amazing. This was our second time visiting the restaurant and loved the ambience, the service, the decor and especially the food. For a nice quiet(ish) date enjoy dinner upstairs on the outside patio. For a lively vibe request to sit downstairs. The squash blossoms are amazing as were the Nutrata pizza and the Sea Bream! If Omar is there, ask him to be your server. Truly was an excellent host and server and timed all of our dishes perfectly! Can't wait to go back. You can thank me later.

This was my third visit to Stella, and we chose to dine here to support our local restaurants after the fires. Unfortunately, the experience this time was disappointing.Service was far below expectations. They had cut back on staff, despite having half the restaurant closed, and it showed. It took 25 minutes just to get a bread basket. When it arrived, the server placed a small dish of olive oil on one side of the table for our party of six. I asked for more oil, and instead of bringing a new dish, they handed me the one from the other side. After asking three times, they finally brought more. When we requested balsamic vinegar, they informed us it would be an extra $10--something I've never encountered before. The food, which had always been a highlight, was not up to its usual standards. The pizzas arrived uncut and were simply left on the table without any care or explanation. The server never checked back to see how things were going, and although there were several managers visible, there weren't enough servers to handle the customers effectively.Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning to Stella.

I had an excellent meal at Stella. Service and food were very strong. I ordered the wagyu NY strip and it was really expensive but VERY delicious. The pastas and salad were really solid as well. It's a large restaurant and the vibe is "crowded expensive hotel." Everything here is expensive but it's the real deal. I'm excited to return.
