Classy steakhouse located in Beverly Hills. It's good for special occasions and they have a cool display of their seafood as well as desserts. Note that they don't validate parking for the garage next door (it's $13) but there is street parking. Our waiter was Audrey and she was the best - very friendly and warm. In terms of the food, it was a family style meal and we ate a ton. We ordered the following for four of us: - They gave us complimentary bread that was a mix of croissant and dinner rolls. This was an elevated version of the Pillsbury crescent rolls and I meant that as a compliment. We took some bread to go because it was that good. - Rhode Island Calamari and shrimp - there were perfectly crispy and there was a good mix of both seafood. - 48 Caesar with warm poached egg - we got the poached egg on the side per my mom's request but I think keeping it in makes a difference. The croutons are more bready in texture than a traditional crouton but still good. This is good to share, contrary to what the waiter might say. - Truffled and salted crispy fries - you can never go wrong with fries and there's nothing more to report. - Tomahawk steak - this was gigantic and fed all four of us with leftovers to spare. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked. - New Bedford Sea Scallops - this came with an extremely buttery sauce that was oh so decadent. The scallops were tender and - Crispy brussel sprouts - these were served to us and came with giant pieces of lardons. They're your typical brussel sprout that can be found at a steakhouse. - Chocolate Bomb - we decided on this for dessert because it looked really good in the dessert case. It was decidedly chocolatey and we couldn't finish it because it's surprisingly more filling than you'd expect.

I came to Steak 48 for a private event in their backroom. We had some great waiters who provided excellent service, checked in with us, and made sure we didn't have any food allergies before the dinner began.Their bread basket is filled with a buttery, croissant style pull-apart bread served in a cast iron pot. It is very rich and, although delicious, I usually prefer a lighter/fluffier bread especially when you are about to eat such an indulgent dinner.Their crispy shrimp with sweet Thai chilis were a delicious way to start the meal. The shrimp were the tiniest baby shrimps that were perfectly fried and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Loved their 48 Caesar salad which came with a chilled salad fork (added a nice touch). It also came with baked bready seasoned croutons which gave it a nice touch and lotsa fresh Parmesan. For the main dish I got the petit filet which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The meat tasted fresh and high quality. I also tried the bone-in ibérico pork chops which were amazing. So juicy and packed with flavor and it came with 2 chops which was a big portion size.As if all of that food was not already enough, we also tried their ultimate warm vanilla caramel cake. It was a giant portion that could probably serve 2 or 3 and it did not disappoint. It tasted like a soft vanilla cake and the cold, sweet vanilla ice cream went perfectly with the warm cake. Great sweet way to end the meal. The restaurant itself is really large with an open kitchen which I love. It was dimly lit which made for a pleasant dining experience. I can't wait to come back to this delicious steakhouse.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This was my second time at Steak 48, and they somehow managed to blow me away even more than the first. When you go to an expensive steakhouse, it's easy to set your expectations high and end up slightly disappointed. But Steak 48 flips that completely--by the end of the night, you feel like you got a bargain for how incredible the experience is.From the moment we sat down, the service was flawless. They greeted me with a handwritten birthday note from the manager, and every staff member who came to our table took the time to wish me a happy birthday. That level of attention to detail set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. Now, the food--impeccable. The bone-in ribeye was one of the best steaks of my life--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and exactly what a great steakhouse should deliver. The mac & cheese and sweet potato were standout sides, rich and indulgent in the best way. We were too full for dessert, but they still comped a slice of chocolate birthday cake to-go, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff was polished, professional, and genuinely warm, making the entire experience feel truly special. Steak 48 isn't just a great steakhouse--it's an experience that's worth every penny. I can't wait to come back!

Everything was extremely exceptional! I can't get over how good every dish was; not one complaint. The table bread was six of the softest, buttery biscuits on a hot plate. Starters were New England lobster rolls, Maine lobster escargot, chicken fried lobster tails, and Rhode Island calamari & shrimps. The lobster escargot was the stand out starter, but all were great in taste. The main course was bone in wagyu tomahawk, filet mignon, whole jumbo Norwegian king crab legs, whipped praline sweet potatoes and creamed spinach [OMG - drooling as I write this]. To think there was any more room, an always necessary sweet ending was the ultimate warm vanilla caramel cake. As a whole, the food alone scales easily more than five stars. For sure a new favorite restaurant of mine that I will continue to visit.

Definitely a new favorite. Very impressed with the food and service. They even call the next day to check on the experience. Made an early dinner reservation and table was ready when we arrived. We could easily see into the kitchen from the table we were seated at. The complimentary bread is a must. You're going to love that buttery taste in your mouth. Highly recommend the deviled eggs with shrimped. That crispy shrimp on top of the egg is to die for. Loved every single bite. For my main, I had the NY steak. We ordered the baked potato and broccoli to share. A lot of food for two people. I suggest one side or no side at all if you're going to do dessert. The steak was good, but that Pork Chop is incredible! Had a few bites of my friend's pork chop and wished I ordered that instead. So much flavor! Love the décor and layout of the restaurant. The open kitchen concept is very inviting. It's always a different experience when you can see them cooking and preparing your food. Restaurant is large and spacious. The service is excellent. Staff are everywhere and ready to serve you. Can't wait to find an excuse to come back with a friend.

We had our company holiday party at Steak 48 in the Wine Room. The entire experience, from coordinating with the event coordinators to set up to service to the food to the ambiance, was nothing short of utter perfection. I coordinated our event with Eden and Kelly and they were both incredible and super knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to ensure our event was perfect. We had two vegans in our group and quite a few allergies and they made sure to speak directly with the chef to accommodate everyone. I was so happy with how communicative and responsive they both were. When I got to the event on the day of our party, I was greeted by the GM and our two amazing servers, Matias and Mimi. They made sure our event ran smoothly and I personally witnessed how kind and careful they were with our guests who had dietary restrictions, and even with the kids who are picky eaters. So thankful for them! Now for the food. Wow is all I have to say. There was an overabundance of food, and everything was absolutely delicious. I was stunned more and more with each plate that came out. I'm usually someone who takes photos of everything, but everything was soooo good that I didn't take a single photo! The desserts were also just superb. You also can't be ambiance. The place is beautiful, dimly lit, and amazing for any occasion. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend for any event!

I went to the one in Houston so I was so excited to come to this location. The valet is $16 and the guys are very nice and gentlemen like. The restaurant was a little smaller than I imagined, but I love the vibes here. They have great Waiters who are very friendly and they really know their stuff. We got a three minute monologue going over the chefs choices for the day, the cot fish for the day and deep detail about their steaks. It was about five of us and we shared everything and the bill was about $175. The praline, sweet potato pecan mash was a delicious choice especially if you have a sweet tooth but don't want to indulge fully into a dessert. They have beignets, and a warm caramel crunch cake with a scoop of ice cream. They also offered gelato here! The bottle sodas are four dollars, which isn't too bad. They have cream spinach. I didn't have a lot of cheese on it, but it was still very delicious and tenderThe steak was out of this world. We got a 16 ounce and it was so much meat. Delicious steak sauce and they seasoned the plates. They have extremely hot plates here so be careful but it's very worth it. The crispy shrimp I've had in Houston and I felt it was more flavorful and more crispy there than the one tonight in Beverly Hills. Some of the batter was falling off and it didn't taste as delicious as I remember. Still decently flavored. With all that being said, I would still go here again and highly recommend it

I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday, and it was everything I hoped for and more. The ambiance and atmosphere were warm, inviting, and absolutely perfect for a special occasion. Our seating--a cozy corner booth with a semi-private feel and a full view of the kitchen--was ideal. The meal started with complimentary bread that was out of this world. At first, I wondered why butter wasn't served alongside it, but one bite revealed the secret: the butter was already infused, making the bread irresistibly delicious. For our appetizer, we chose the chicken-fried lobster tails. They were tender, perfectly seasoned, and a great way to kick off the meal. For our entrees, we indulged in the filet mignon and a special treat--the wagyu ribeye (a $175 splurge). Both were absolutely phenomenal, easily the best steaks I've ever had.The sides were generously portioned and perfect for sharing. We opted for the creamed spinach and the crab and shrimp mashed potatoes, both of which were excellent choices. For dessert, we enjoyed a couple of selections along with a complimentary birthday treat. Every bite was incredible. From the atmosphere to the staff to the food, everything about this experience was flawless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. It was truly perfect in every way!

To ring in the New Year, I treated myself to a solo dinner at Steak 48 in Beverly Hills, and let me just say--what an unforgettable experience!I started with the Chicken Fried Lobster Tails, and wow, talk about indulgence! The crispy, golden batter paired perfectly with the tender lobster, making for a luxurious and flavorful bite. For my main course, I went with the Petit Filet Oscar Style--a beautifully cooked steak topped with buttery crab and a creamy hollandaise sauce. It was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The Creamed Spinach I had on the side was rich, decadent, and the perfect complement to the meal. The ambiance at Steak 48 is classy and elegant--a great spot for special occasions or a romantic date night. I also loved that they have two bar areas: the main one and a more low-key bar in the back, which requires a reservation. It's an excellent touch for those seeking a more intimate vibe (Ask for Chris or Alec - Bartenders)Valet parking was $16, which is pretty standard for Beverly Hills, and the service from start to finish was top-notch.Whether you're dining solo, celebrating something special, or planning a chic date night, Steak 48 is a spot you don't want to miss. I'll definitely be back for another round of indulgence! Pro Tip: Reserve a spot at the back bar if you're looking for a quieter experience.Cost: $$$$Valet: $16 Noise Level: Moderate Ambiance: Classy
