Spumoni Restaurant

SERVICE: Absolutely LOVE spumoni and the wonderful staff! This definitely feels like a small mom & pop shop. On top of the complimentary bread with a lovely olive spread we get, they surprise us with complimentary tiramisu dessert at the end every time! AMBIANCE: cute little place. The kitchen is right in the front. It's a dimmer romantic kind of setting. It seems small but it's actually pretty deep in. FOOD: I love the olive spread with bread. The pastas are amazing! I still crave the Pesto pasta often, that's my favorite here! I've also tried a few of the seafood dishes and regular marina meatball, all also very tasty. I'm not from the area, but if I am nearby, I try to grab dinner here! I would highly highly recommend.

We don't crave Italian food often, but when we do, we go to Spumoni. We know we will always have a great experience there. They play classic Italian music like "That's Amore", the owner is the friendliest man you'll ever meet, and the food is top notch and served with love at a reasonable price.I went on a weekday dinner with my wife and toddler, and there were many open tables. The waiter brought us water and bread with olive tapenade. The owner, an older Italian gentleman, came out to give us recommendations on the menu. He asked what our toddler liked to eat and brought us out a small kids sized plate on the house. Our chopped salad came split in two plates without us needing to ask for it. The owner chatted with us about the beauty of life and spending time with family. The spaghetti carbonara was out of this world. The chicken limone had an excellent grilled flavor with just the right amount of lemon. They brought us to go boxes when we mentioned we wanted to save some for lunch the next day. And of course they brought out the complimentary dessert. The whole time the owner was so friendly with our toddler. We all had a great time.

I found this place during the pandemic and remembered the excellent take out service. Four years later, we finally dined in person and had a wonderful experience! This no frills restaurant makes up for everything with their food. I will be back next time I am in the area. Personal note: thank you for celebrating my birthday! I appreciate the Chianti and service !!

When the owner of the restaurant greets you, takes your order, and is running around with a huge smile on his face doing when he loves -- you know it's going to be good!!!This restaurant is the place to eat whenever you're craving Italian. The bread was so fresh and came with a delicious caper dip. The pastas were flavorful; huge portions too. But the complimentary tiramisu was the cherry on top! Would highly recommend this restaurant!

I'm beyond starstruck, I almost needed to ask for an autograph coming to this restaurant. The owner is so nice. I had so many questions about different dishes, that I was unfamiliar with, and he answered everything so nicely & patiently and it felt so genuine. When I came, my food was fresh and hot and so amazing I can't even begin to explain if you don't try this place then you're crazy. This is the best Italian food I've ever had, and the best pasta I've ever had at a restaurant, other than me eating my own, their sauce is so good. I found my Italian restaurant and it's right down the street from me.. I was given a free dessert homemade, of course most definitely delicious. this is family owned you can tell, if you don't come here, you must be crazy.

Spumoni Restaurant deserves 10+ stars from us. This restaurant never fails to serve authentic Italian food and the service is always impeccable! We dropped off our daughters to Hollywood Bow on 8/7/24 and as we were driving home, we immediately thought about Spumoni's delicious food. We were greeted warmly and got seated right away. Valsik the owner is always kind, friendly and has the most amazing personality. He is warm, polite and welcoming. He treats everyone like family! He remembers everyone and exemplifies the true meaning of customer service. The ambiance is very relaxing and homey like going to a family's home for dinner in Italy. They have a large space for large groups and they offer parking in the back. Wish we loved close by so we can dine here all the time. But whenever we are in the area, this is our favorite spot to dine. Highly recommend!

Updated review. Once again, we had another really fine meal. Vasik, as always, greets us as friends. Started, as always, with toasties and a delicious tapenade. We decided to split the one with all the toppings, and split one of our very favorite dishes, beef lasagna. So good. We love that this cozy place is not noisy and we can relax and have a nice conversation. Very good service made for a very fine dining experience.

OMG I just found my new fave Italian restaurant! It just so happened that my niece & I had met in the area earlier in the day & decided to grab dinner before heading back home. We searched for Italian near us & Spumoni popped up. First of all the service was amazing! We were seated right away & the owner sat near our table asking what kind of sauces were our favorite. He made my niece a dish that was not on the menu saying if she didn't like it he would take it back, but she loved it!! Large tortellini in a cream sauce with mushrooms & spinach. I had the gnocchi with bolognese. The waiter was so attentive bringing more hot bread before our basket completely ran out. The whole time the owner made his rounds talking to the customers making sure everyone was enjoying their food. It was a wonderful evening & I can't wait to bring the whole family on my next visit!

Excellent service and excellent food. It's hard to come by such personal service nowadays, especially with so many fast casual restaurants and busy restaurants that have 2-3 hour wait times. Spumoni's is a family-owned gem of the valley. My family and I were very well taken care of by the owner who really added a personal touch to our experience. We ordered the Italian salad, gnocchi Boccaccio, risotto pescatore, shrimp scampi, a chicken dish, and a spaghetti dish. Everything was delicious and fairly priced. The complimentary tiramisu really adds a nice touch, and the owner saw how much my brother enjoyed it that he gave him another one to go. We had a wonderful time here and would happily recommend it to anyone, and will be back!The restaurant is small but cozy. It was comfortable to accommodate our party of 6. Parking can be tricky, but they do have a small shared lot in the back and my brother was able to park for free around the corner. They take Apple Pay!Thank you for your amazing food and hospitality!

You can't go wrong here! The service is excellent, everyone who works here is so kind, and the food is delicious. The vibe is very nice and chill, and they always give you dessert after your meal. I find myself here again and again, and each time they remind me why I should come back.
