Came on a Monday around 11:30AM .The first time I came to Springbok about 20 years ago, though I had not been to Sprinbok in several years. I used to visit somewhat regularly in the past. Mostly after work but occasionally thursday nights with friends.Not because I do not like them, but once I moved further north, Springbok was too far to visit after work.Seems they have been doing just fine over the years.I came with my friend who is a regular (when he walked in all of the other patrons knew him). Evidently he doesn't usually come on Mondays because while the staff knew him by name, they were surprised to see him. haha.Our server (breanna i think) assisted.I ordered the Lamb Curry. This was my favorite dish in the past, 2nd to the fish and chips. Quite solid with a kick and overall very goodMy friend ordered wings & two long islands. His usual order. If you enjoy long islands, would totally recommend. Disclaimer - they are strong ! haha.They do offer a discount if you pay by CASH instead of card. Just a FYI.

I would pass by this place so many times over the years as I'd go to the Van Nuys golf course driving range and it never crossed my mind to stop by to get a meal here until my friend took me here to have lunch last week.One thing is for certain, it's a no frills type of place that's dedicated to providing a laid back atmosphere for watching sports and having a meal and there's a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to choose from if you're looking to having drinks with your meal or just want to sit at the bar and have drinks while watching the game. My friend ordered the Springbok Burger which, according to him, is what he always get when he dines here. I opted to get the grilled pastrami sandwich which was delicious! I would have liked to have gotten the sandwich with a beer and I think it would have been a great pairing but since I was going to be driving back to Hollywood in rush hour traffic, I decided to hold off. Next time I'll come to get a meal and drink before hitting up the driving range. Anyway, when you come here, make sure you've got a big appetite and a lot of space in your stomach because they don't skimp on the portions!

OMG! The food is so unique delicious... and we have only had a few things..last night we had Peri Peri chicken, Samosas and salad but I am back today trying more! Even the cole slaw is BOMB!!!The best part is the staff are incredibly kind. Good grub with flavor. You can taste the love in the food!

FYI They charge 20% if your tab is over $100 do watch out or you'll double tip! The food is good but it's a dive bar and people are vulgar at times so don't bring your kids here!!!
