A lovely place, the team there is kind. The valet guys are amazing , super nice and helpful. I ordered the Tuna tartare its was delicious, the waiter recommended that and the pasta for starters. The waiter was kind and helpful with picking the dishes . Thank you

Spectacular birthday dinner @ Spago Beverly Hills located in the heart of downtown LAThe food was excellent, service was impeccable and the ambience was classy and elegant.Started off dinner with some Kaluga caviar which was amazing and Endive salad. My hubby had the Jidori Chicken which was so tasty and flavorful. Hubby treated this bday girl to the best item on the menu, an A-5 Japanese Wagyu New York Steak. The flavor is so rich and buttery, it literally melts in your mouth. To top it all off, I had the most decadent and beautiful complimentary birthday chocolate cake which was absolute heaven. But the highlight of the night was meeting Wolfgang Puck himself who stopped by our table to say hello!A perfect night from start to finish!

In search of the perfect smoked salmon pizza? Spago created the thing during the 80's/90's? (not sure on my smoked salmon pizza history, I will need to look that up). The bar is always warm, fun, and fancy. None of that is lost on the fact that Spago is a worldwide phenomenon. Still going strong after all of these years because of outstanding service, an excellent wine program, and food that is comfortable but innovative.

What a fantastic dinner at Spago. Love the ambiance and décor. Typical of what you would expect with fine dining. The staff are super friendly and attentive. We had a Friday evening reservation for two. After a cocktail each, we started with the Munak Ranch Heirloom Tomatoes. Tomatoes were perfection and full of flavor. I especially loved my main course, which was the Singaporean Style Black Pepper Branzino. Not only was the fish full of amazing flavors, but the sides were also just as amazing. The vegetable stir-fry was lovely and went well with the Branzino. Parking isn't great in Beverly Hills, but for dinner you can always park in the public garages. Makes things so much easier.

Full disclosure, I used to work here... but my has it changed. It's actually become much hipper, and even more expensive, but it's ultimately still the same old Spago. The more things change the more they stay the same, and Spago is still that iconic LA restaurant that has to be experienced at least once. The Beverage Director has really upped the craft cocktail menu, which was imaginatively sorted by decades. The drinks we had were truly spectacular. The food, as you may expect, is flawless. I ordered a couple of the classics, Agnolotti and Wienerschnitzel (for old times) and they were spot hitting (and then some). Other dishes my partner had were more complex and yet still sublime. People watching at Spago is as interesting as the food, as is the renovated patio (now with retractable roof) and the staff who seemingly glide effortlessly throughout the room. That said, I'm not sure I know anyone who would take their younger kids to this class of restaurant, but then I also don't really move in these circles.Go, at least once, you won't regret it (just be sure to have room on your credit card).

Everything was delicious! We had the tasting menu and they easily accommodated my sons nut allergy calling us back prior to our reservation after checking with the chef. We never felt rushed and everyone was so professional and kind. It's an expensive treat and was a gift from my son. I would love to go back again someday as the entire experience was fun and new. Everything was explained to us in such detail. Being foodies we love knowing the history of the food. My son also got the drink tasting menu and the bar timing is set up so well with the food. He taught us a lot about the drinks and they were delicious! Thank you for this amazing experience!
