My wife and I visited this restaurant for the very first time for Valentine's Day.We weren't sure what to expect because the name is Soup Shop!?!?! we were expecting a restaurant that served a variety of soups. We were seated and presented their menu. This restaurant serves Vietnamese cuisine, Pho dishes are their specialties. The dining area was well lit spacious and clean. Our server Kenny was very pleasant and attentive. He allowed us time to ask questions about the menu and the entrées/soups.My wife decided on the filet mignon entrée and I decided to try their oxtail pho soup. We also ordered green Thai tea and jasmine milk tea. They were highly recommended by Kenny. I would highly recommend this restaurant because their food is absolutely positively delicious. The filet mignon was super tender hardly any fat. The salad that came with the entrée was crisp and the rice was not too watery and not too dry. My wife loved this entrée. It also was accompanied with bell peppers and onions. My oxtail pho soup was out of this world. It is a very healthy portion of oxtail, accompanied with cilantro and green and white onions. Like all Vietnamese, pho restaurants, this soup came with a side dish of all Schlimé, bean, sprouts, and mint. My wife and I have tried other Vietnamese, restaurants, but this has become our favorite. We will be returning.!!

Soup shop is a really good option for pho in Cerritos. First impression was that the shop is really clean, but that my bowl of "combination" pho was bland and lacking in protein. Sometimes, however, what you desire lies just beneath the surface! (i.e.: I was wrong). To get the flavor of the broth right to my preferences, the table is loaded with "liquid seasoning" (msg+), limes, herbs, sriracha, and hoisin to get the right, bespoke mix of salt, acid, sweetness, and spiciness. For my issue with the proteins - there was actually a ton of meat in my bowl, but it was hidden under the surface (and under the noodles). I was full just from all of the meat that was hidden in my bowl of noods. The "combination" pho might be challenging for some because of the tripe and fatty chunks of tendon to go along with thin brisket, but I love the mixture of meaty textures that don't get redundant. To give bursts of flavor, I like to sauce up the meats on the side like one would do with hot pot. My wife isn't into tripe and tendon, so she likes to go with brisket pho. Also be sure to ask for extra white onions with vinegar (i.e. pickled onions) on the side for some extra tart flavor bombs. We really liked our food experience here and I think that, moving forward, this is my wife's local pick for Pho. While there's a spot in Garden Grove where I dream about the Pho, I have to say that this will probably be my local spot as well! Also happy to report that they're one of the few late-night options in the area!

Cute small shop in a big shopping center. I've gone twice and service was always great. They were always attentive and quick.I've had the pho brisket both times and both times it was amazing. The broth is so flavorful and fresh tasting. The brisket was tender and delicious.I could honestly just drink their broth and be happy.I also tried the fried bao, it was really good, I just wish it had some type of sauce or chili oil for it, it can be a bit dry. But the flavor was great.

Located in a shopping plaza with lots of food options, it becomes hard to stand out. However, Soup Shop definitely stands out from the others. First things first, this is a Pho shop, they really don't sell other types of soups (I learned that way back when I first visited). However, they do have garlic noodles, rice dishes, etc. of the Vietnamese variety. The shop is really clean and organized and the staff are all very upbeat and polite. Every time I've come, they have always been very helpful and patient.I've had the garlic noodles, the various phos, and the rice dishes. In order of what I enjoy the most: pho, rice dishes, garlic noodles. The pho is their bread and butter. You can't go wrong, and the best part, unlimited noodles. I've had the rib pho, combination pho, and the oxtail pho. In all honesty, you cannot go wrong with any of these. They provide more protein than most other pho locations.Definitely worth a visit when you get a chance.

Came here around 3:30 on Monday and was able to get seated right away. Upon walking in, I noticed the modern decor. The store seemed very well kept. Everything from their floor to the sauces on the tables were clean.Their menu was also modern, with a ton of photos, almost like flipping through a food magazine. Our food came out a few minutrs after placing the order which was nice given how hungry we were.I ordered their veggie pho with fried tofu. The broth was delicious. The noodles were a bit too soft (aka over cooked) for my liking. The noodles were not long as you'd expect, but cut up similar to the noodles in Campbell's chicken noodle soup.I am hoping the overcooked noodles was a one time miss because I plan on coming back to try their non veggie pho.

Really solid pho spot that's open late! When I'm really craving pho, or am just really hungry late at night, this place really hits! The broth in the pho is good, and the noodles are soft but firm. The bowl is really big too! Perfect for a big back like me! There are a great selection of different types of meats you can get in your pho, and all of them are good! When I'm feeling extra hungry, I like to order an appetizer. So, I got the spring rolls last time I went. They had a good crunch, and tasted good as well. However, I wish they had the Vietnamese style spring rolls though (the ones that are wrapped in rice paper). I was greeted pretty quickly when I walked in, and was immediately assigned a table. There were actually a lot of people eating there at the time, despite it being so late at night. I was by myself though, and was able to get seated pretty quickly. My server came and checked in on me regularly, and I got my bill right about as I was about to ask. This is definitely the spot to get good pho!

Similar vibes and menu to Sup Noodle bar. Pho soup was a bit on the sweeter side and wasn't as flavorful but still delicious! The crispy tofu soaked up the soup. Our favorite was the golden bao-- nice crunch but soft bao skin. Parking is in a shared plaza so it maybe be difficult. It's shared with Lucille's, Kura, Gyukaku, etc.

With a name like this, one would think the restaurant offers a variety of broths, but Soup Shop specializes in Vietnamese food, particularly pho along with other items like garlic noodles and fried rice. Many businesses and restaurants close early on Sundays, but Soup Shop remains open til 1:30 AM the next day, which in itself is a huge plus and makes me wonder why they aren't situated in more college cities. Soup Shop replaced Bun Bun Bao in the Landmark Square plaza.Good:+ Open daily from 11:00 AM - 1:30 AM + Decent sized restaurant that is quite ideal for groups+ Shared parking lot with other businesses in the plaza (not good during main lunch/dinner hours)+ Very clean, modern decor with an inviting atmosphere+ Friendly and efficient staff (I saw them rinsing the herbs several times)+ Fair prices+ Comfort food done right: soup, fries, and noodles+ Complimentary noodle refills (dine in only)+ Our party of 6 ate well for about $111 and that's including tax and tip+ 5 locations (2 in Anaheim, Cerritos, South Gate and Whittier)So-so:- Salmon was overcooked and dry- Only one restroom available

I have found my new favorite pho spot!My wife and I were craving soup and one of our favorites is pho. Normally we'd go to another local spot but tonight we decided to try Soup shop and we were not disappointed! We started off with the crunchy pork bao which were super tasty as well as an order of their popcorn chicken which had a lot of flavor, good crunch and a good sauce for dipping. For pho I ordered the oxtail pho and added a beef rib to it and there was a ton of meat on both the beef rib and the oxtails which made me a very happy carnivore. The broth itself was, as of now, the best I have ever had and they gave us a generous amount of jalapeños, lime, sprouts and basil to add in a long with lots of cilantro and onion. My wife had the pho with shaken beef on the side and a beef rib as well and their shaken beef was absolutely delicious! The staff was very attentive and friendly taking our order pretty quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. As more people showed up the restaurant did start to get loud but it was not too bad. Overall I highly recommend this spot, but be sure to get there early enough as I can see it getting packed!
