Soowon galbi remains one of my favorite kbbq places in all of ktown! It consistently delivers quality meat every time I go. There's been a wait when I went on weekend nights, but there was no wait when I came here on a Monday night. My go-to order is Combo D (~$225) if I'm sharing with 2-3 other people. It provides a good amount of meat and variety for you to try everything on the menu. The server cooks the meat for you so you can just sit back and enjoy. They were very attentive throughout the night without being overbearing, which we really appreciated. The banchan is great as well! I especially like the spinach and mac salad. We were also given two soybean soup, which I'm not sure if it was part of the banchan or combo. Regardless, it was a nice and flavorful complement to our meal.

Long lines but pretty normal for good Korean food in ktown Known for their galbi if you're into that We didn't choose that meat this time but seemed like everyone did.Alot of people took leftovers home which was interesting, its just that gooddefinitely coming backThe food quality was great! so worth the wait ( 15 minutes not too bad, others waited an hour) Definitely make a reservation on yelp I'd say its great for small groups and datesWe ended up sharing a big table with another couple, we dont mind of course but some people maybe.

Been here and also take it to go and take out. You will find that food here is good. Only reason i give 4 star is because they are pretty bad about picking up the phone for take out food order. I am pretty sure they would rather have me order online but because usually theres price difference between online order and orser by phone i just have habit of calling in to order. Even if you visit to put in order its usually about 10 mins, so better just visit and put in order, rather trying to call them for like 10 mins, which they will not pick up. Its not that they will never pick up the phone but i would say 4 out 3, they won't. And its usually when theres no older lady on the floor. I assume the manager

Love it, high quality beef and pork along with great service. With an abundance of kbbq in the surrounding area, Soowon Galbi does an amazing job. Not an all you can eat spot, but there are options for combos. You are also able to order a la carte. combo B was enough for our party of 3. Banchan were also great, and an order of ssam is a must, to accompany the marble meats. I also recommend using their valet service, because for 4.50, it's probably the most affordable valet in KTOWN.

This place was a very pleasant surprise. Their signature galbi was very well marinated, chewy and juicy! It was so good that we doubled our order! The cold noodle was yummy too and you get the option to choose between small or large. Scallion pancake is huge and it's basically seafood pancake. It had a few different types of seafood in it and the pancake was not oily at all, soo yummy. The staffs here were very friendly and chill. I recommend coming early to avoid a line as they can get busy during prime dining hours. It also gets very smokey inside when it's full house. Valet was $5. We basically parked by ourselves and pull up the car ourselves, typical ktown valet style. Overall, I highly recommend trying this place out!

My family has been coming here for years. We came in on Thursday for early dinner and discovered they had just opened a month ago for their regrand opening. They remodeled sections of the place and it looks good overall. The service and quality of food stayed the same. We got 1 order of galbi, 2 orders of brisket and 1 order of bulgogi. We got korean beer and ate 2 rounds of side dishes. Everything was delicious.

Forgot to take some pictures, but we had been on a mission to try different kbbq spots in koreatown and found ourselves at Soowon. There was a bit of a wait but decided since we were already here, to wait it out. Once we got sat, ordered the combo and everything came out relatively fast. They serve the meal with lots of sides and the meat was good quality. I like that the tables are large so you don't feel cramped and we ended our meal with nengmyun which always hits the spot after shoving yourself with all the meats. A good spot but would note that it is pretty pricey so wouldn't make this our go to spot but was a good place to check out.
