As you enter Sol and Luna, you feel like you're in a secret garden, with delicious authentic Mexican, the best on our side of the valley. A must try a Rose Margarita made from Mr. Francisco. A must try Is the molcajete is a traditional Mexican stone mortar and pestle, served as a dish, it's a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Imagine a sizzling, piping hot stone bowl brought to your table, releasing a fragrant, smoky steam. The molcajete is filled with a rich, bubbling mixture of grilled meats--such as tender strips of beef, succulent chicken, or juicy shrimp--smothered in a flavorful, smoky salsa made from roasted tomatoes, chilies, garlic, and onions. The heat from the stone keeps everything warm and sizzling, while melted cheese oozes over the top, creating a gooey, indulgent layer. Served with warm corn tortillas, perfect for scooping up the vibrant, flavorful concoction. An unforgettable, satisfying experience with amazing food and satisfying cocktails. Thank you Panchito and the rest of the team!!Happy Holidays!

We stumbled on this place and wanted to try it out. We were a walk in so we were told we have to wait 30min but they did open up a bit sooner as we agreed to sit outside. Inside is kinda dark but works with the decor. Service was a bit slow but the food was good. I would probably try it again to try more food options as what we had was good.

Sol y Luna was nothing short of amazing on our last company dinner. It was a large party and they accommodated us beautifully. The staff is extremely friendly and fast. What stole the show was the guacamole, they make it table side! Loved everything about this place, their menu is extensive and bar is even more appealing! Parking is tight but they do have Valet in the back. Don't miss out!

The food and service were really but I'm sad that they got rid of the happy hour! They used to have a great one and hopefully they'll bring it back

The food was delicious! We had the molcajete and fresh guacamole, and both were amazing. The mojito was tasty and pretty strong--just how I like it! The service was top-notch--I've never been to a place where they check in so often to make sure everything is perfect. Our server, Julie, was awesome! Highly recommend!

Our go-to mid-week or weekend date night spot! The strawberry and mango margaritas are our favorites. Be careful not to fill up on the chips and salsa like we often do- they're too good to resist! Our standard order is to share the asada mulita and an asada burrito. Service is fast and friendly. We always leave more than satisfied and it's reasonably priced- making it an easy choice when deciding on a fun, close to home dinner out.

Food is okay. Drinks could be better. Guac is the best though and is prepared right in front of you.

Sol y Luna was wonderful! I was so pleasantly surprised!I ordered a shrimp enchilada with mole sauce and a beef tamale. Both were exceptional. I liked the mole flavor, unlike some other reviews. Generous shrimp. The beef in the tamale was very tasty. I like that they have white rice with corn and cilantro, my favorite. The service was so nice, with a couple bus boys stopping by just to make sure we didn't need anything. The decor is eclectic and fun. I will totally go back, what a nice experience. I had to pay a valet $10 to park in the restaurant lot. Otherwise street parking was limited to one hour.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting this Mexican restaurant in Tarzana, CA, with a friend who lives nearby and is practically a regular. She always spoke highly of this place, and now I understand why. They have their no-reservations policy, so we decided to sit at the bar to skip the wait.We started with the ceviche, which is made of white fish. And we also ordered the nachos, loaded with cheese and beans--absolutely to die for! The convenience of parking was a pleasant surprise, with a nearby plaza and plenty of street parking. In short, it was a fantastic dining experience that lived up to all the hype. I can tell from the people waiting outside that it's a trendy spot for individuals, couples, and families.
