Staff is fast and efficient. I got the slurping ramen - pro level. I got the super spicy. It wasn't the spiciest but would be too spicy for western standards.

The okay: the ramen tasted average for the $20 price point (per bowl). You can order it pretty bare for $16 but it doesn't make it anything special. To add things like the egg, mushrooms, corn, etc... they are all al a carte. The service was quick as it wasn't busy at all. The bad: it is unfortunate that the entire neighborhood surrounding the business is covered in graffiti. The bathrooms are riddled with graffiti. You know it's bad when they have a sign on the bathroom door: "please no vandalism."I've had multiple ramen spots and came here for the close to 6k yelp reviews. This will be one of the few times where I'm curious why it has such a high rating.There is nothing that really sets this spot apart from the next place you can find down the street.

Food is great! Prices are great! Service is great! I highly recommend it. The ambiance is cool. They play good music

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in the LA area! Even though I used to live in West LA, where there is also a lot of ramen spots as well, I'd still regularly make the drive to Ktown to eat here. Open late night, and extremely quick service! Nothing hits like a hot, fresh bowl of ramen to end the day, the vibes of the restaurant are to come in for a quick meal, not so much a spot to sit and chat. Check in on Yelp for free toppings :) and check/join the Yelp waitlist before hand since it can get pretty packed.The price of the base ramen is amazing bang for your buck in my opinion, and I like this style of being able to choose my own toppings and customize as I'd like. Some of my favorites are the egg, veggies, and the crispy pork if I'm extra hungry! Their takoyaki and sesame chicken are good but nothing too special for me, the ramen here is definitely the star of the show. Will keep coming back here whenever I'm in town!

First time trying Ramen and this was a really good choice. Friendly staff, seated quickly and food came out pretty fast. Nice inside and all long tables for sitting. OurServe was nice and helpful when asking what would be the best for newbies to have. Definitely coming back. If you're around give this place a try.

I just want to preface that I've been going to Slurpin' Ramen Bar with my friends for 6+ years. Great ramen for the price, amazing service and accommodations. This review is speaking more on their recent (?) auto-tip policy.Eddie,I appreciate you, brotha. Every time my friends and I have been at this establishment, you and your staff have served us well. I am grateful for even the smallest gestures like letting me charge my phone, etc. But on my most recent visit, you guys included an automatic 18% tip without first telling me? I was going to tip 25% anyways, but I didn't realize I had in fact tipped 43% until I got home to Zelle request my friends. If you're going to apply an auto-tip, please don't include a second page asking for more tips on top of that -- that is shady practice! When did you guys start applying an 18% gratuity to all customers (or of certain party sizes)? How come I was never made aware of this policy? I think it's fine to take this route as long as there is a verbal warning to guests that there will be an automatic gratuity applied. I feel slightly betrayed at this double-tipping scheme. I'll still come back to the restaurant with my friends, no doubt. However, it would be nice to be compensated with a free ramen+toppings or a pitcher of beer for this travesty.With warm regards,Wen
