Sky Terrace at W Hotel

Beautiful location, super friendly service with a very limited menu. I was staying on property and every restaurant, room service, bar had the same menu. I enjoyed a Caesar salad several times due my stay...

I had the pleasure of dining for breakfast here on a Tuesday morning after a friend had told me she recently stayed at the W and they had an amazing restaurant inside. I was taken aback at the insane views of the city. You could see downtown LA all the way to the Hollywood sign. The interior was equally as eye catching with floor to ceiling windows and cozy rounds booths. Now to the menu.. In my opinion it was quite extensive with the basics like two eggs your way with a protein, potatoes and toast to your standard CA avocado toast with a nice spin when it came to seasonings. They had a chai French toast that looked wonderful, a veggie omelette, oatmeal and a breakfast sandwich. I opted for the Greek granola parfait with fresh berries. It was absolutely splendid! The berries tasted super fresh and the granola was definitely house made. They offered honey on the side but I found it to be the perfect sweetness by itself due to the granola and berries. The service was great and everyone was so kind. I will definitely be back!

It's a hotel bar so my expectations weren't very high. I ended up here as I am staying at the hotel and decided I was hungry at 9pm. I loveee a poke bowl and was pleased to see it on the menu. It wasnt my best poke bowl but i have no complaints. I requested a Chipotle aioli on the side which stepped the dish up a bit. The menu is also comprised of sandwiches, steak, tacos, etc. quite the variety. I returned the next another day and ordered fish tacos by the pool this time (same menu). Solid service, food, and decor. Would recommend if you're staying at the W Hollywood or in the area looking for a quick bite!

The Burger was really juicy and tasty.. the vibe was fun and lively after watching a musical across the way at the Pantages.. the service was top notch and everyone was very friendly .

Staying at the W we had to check out the balcony here. The cocktails were amazing! Had a couple aperol spritzs, negronis, and the last word is something you have to try. We were there mainly for drinks but the fries were alright

For Thanksgiving, I needed to find a place that: 1) was serving traditional thanksgiving as well as regular menu items, 2) had a great view, 3) had a good bar, 4) wasn't astronomically priced, and 5) was in Hollywood or downtown.After looking at my options, I chose Sky Terrace. The reviews here and on google are vastly different and I'd not eaten there since pre-pandemic but I took a chance. I'm glad I did. The service was great. The food and drinks were excellent. The bill, with tip, was just under 100 per person which for the location and quality of food, is not expensive at all. The regular menu was interesting enough that no one opted for the turkey but if we had, it was reasonably priced at $48 per person (many of the other restaurants were charging 75-100 per person for a turkey dinner).The views are fabulous on a clear beautiful night and ambient noise was low enough that we were able to converse without shouting. We will return and soon.

Such a great restaurant. My wife and I had a great view of Hollywood. Food was fantastic. And our waitress was top notch. We had a nice glass of nerodavola and we split a pork cutlet and their chop salad. It was just enough food. I think we could've had the brussels sprouts as well. I recommend this restaurant. It's a great environment. It's on the top floor of the hotel. I think they're going to be migrating down to the bottom floor though. We're just gonna sad because of you were so amazing. But I think they're going to make a beautiful restaurant. I recommend it.

We came here for pre-Pantages drinks and apps and sat outside. Our appetizers were awesome and came out super quick along with the drinks we ordered. Prices are pretty high-a glass of Chardonnay is $20 and chips and guac is $17 (but decent size)! They seem pretty understaffed in the server department but he still did a great job. The views are incredible if you sit outside! No music playing so would've loved some type of ambiance because it was almost too quiet outside for a rooftop bar. I'd come back!

Went there for lunch. Drinks were served WRONG, TWICE. Appetizer was WRONG. The chicken sandwich has NO meat whatsoever, just fried batter on a bun. Dessert was mediocre. Now I hear that the health department has come due to a rat infestation!DO NOT GO unless you want shitty food, shitty service, and an overpriced bill.
