They have great happy hour pricing!! $29.99 ACYE from 5-6pm and after 8pm! That pricing also includes BOGO on beer! You get less menu items but it was enough to suffice our appetite!Great selection of meats and shrimp to choose from. I wouldn't say the quality is 5 stars but remember it's AYCE. Melissa was our server and she was very attentive. It's a bit smoky in the restaurant from all the grills going but surprisingly my clothes and hair didn't smell as much as when I eat Korean bbq. We'd totally go back it was a great experience.

Went on my birthday and it was really good. We got the cheapest menu item cause I didn't care for the higher tiered unique items. I personally would upgrade if the higher tiered stuff wasn't restricted to 1 per person.Service was really fast friendly and attentive.I like that they have a sides cart. I don't feel bad cause lots of other AYCE places put all their sides out on the table at the start and it feels wasteful since I never eat them.My friends and my favorite item we ordered were the steaks. Despite being on the silver menu they are really good! And worth it too since we went during happy hour! I'd recommend this place during happy hours. They gave me a specially made ice cream. Ice cream is already part of the all you can eat, but they gave me a unique one that wasn't on the list of options and even put a candle on it!

Quick and friendly service here. We went for happy hour which was a good deal. The meat selection and quality were great, and the sides were decent though not quite like Korean bbq banchan. At the end, you can choose ice cream or sorbet. Overall, it's a pretty good HH spot if you're craving bbq!

One of the best jbbq I've had! Came in for ayce happy hour (5-630pm) and it was pretty empty. Got a little busier later closer to dinner time. The staff were very attentive and service was great! There a good selection of meats and sides. Orders came out super fast. The environment was very chill, music not too loud where you can still have conversations, and they have tvs at some booths. Would definitely come back cuz happy hour is such a deal!

Made a reservation for 2 around 8p for my fiancé and I to try out this new place we had been hearing about. I was more inclined to try their Happy Hour AYCE special since we're in the business of trying to save money while still treating ourselves when possible We were sat right away, which was great! The meats were pretty plentiful, I was a huge fan of the Wagyu Beef Belly and the Garlic Butter Shrimp surprisingly enough (i don't usually order seafood at bbq places!), my partner really enjoyed the New York Steak w/ Sweet Soy Glaze. I thought that the carts to give you the side dishes on the first round was very cute and practical! My only thing is that the rice paper I got was a bit on the drier side, but overall, all the meats came out super quick and the service was great! Gwen was one of our servers and quickly helped bus our tables and give us grill changes promptly! Codie and Tommie (?)were our first servers we were introduced to and they were wonderful, getting our food to use quickly and super friendly! I would love to come back to try the other menus when we have the chance

Saw this place on instagram and really wanted to check it out and see how it was. We came here on Saturday, around 4:30pm and it wasn't crowded at all. We were seated right away and our waiter explained everything to us. The menu is on the QR code and they have a few categories. We were originally going to go with the Happy Hour menu for $29.99 but opted to go one higher for the $39.99 menuThey also have a guy that pushes a cart around with all the side dishes so that was pretty cool but when it started to get busy, It was hard to get a hold of him to ask for more sides.I think my favorite items on the Silver menu would be the Marinated Boneless Short Rib, The Marinated Hanger Steak, the Garlic Butter Shrimp & the Wagyu Beef belly. For the appetizers, we only tried the fries and the karaage - which were both fresh, crisp and yummy!Overall I enjoyed my time there but not sure if i would go out of my way to visit again.

Made a reservation for 12/24 at 6:15pm for a party of 3. I thought the restaurant would be super busy, so I arrived 15 minutes early to check-in. There was plenty of parking as it is located in a strip mall. Most of the other stores were closed, so we found parking right away. There was no line when we arrived - in fact, there were maybe 5 other parties seated and eating. We were seated immediately at a booth with one grill. The servers were very attentive and offered their recommendations of what to order. After we placed our drink and meat orders, we were kindly greeted by the "sides" cart. This cart included small dishes of typical KBBQ bonchon. I found this interesting as Shinobu is marketed as a Japanese BBQ spot. We decided to try one of each small bonchon (potato salad, kimchi, cucumbers, pickled daikon, bean sprouts). These dishes tasted like they had been on the cart for a while as some of the vegetables lost their crunch/freshness to them. These bonchons were also unlimited, so we got plenty of kimchi.Opting for the silver tier ($40 per person because no discount on holidays), we tried the wagyu chuckeye, marinated boneless short rib, and the wagyu beef belly first. The wagyu chuckeye was tender, but nothing super memorable. The marinated short rib was almost too sweet and salty. The meat chunks were also rather thick, so we had to cut ours with scissors. The best was the beef belly, but because of its thinness, it shredded a lot on the grill. The house seasoning is tasty, but can be a bit salty if there's too much. We then got some pork belly (both thin and thick cuts), pork cheek, and brisket. The thin cut meats cooked quickly, shredded, and had to be attended to very carefully. The servers are quick and plentiful; they walk around frequently and are available for additional orders and requests. We finished the meal with vanilla ice cream.

I've been to a few other japanese bbq places before and I think this might be the lowest on the scale for me. My group got the silver tier and I felt like the choices were okay, there was something for everyone. They also have a few items that are fried but I dont like wasting space with things like that. Service was okay but I feel like the exhaust fan here don't work too well. Our grills would get burnt and smokey really fast and the whole place was so smokey when we were leavingDon't think I'd come back but it wasn't bad for what it was

Overdue review but my wife and I went here for her birthday last Wednesday, 10/9 and had a wonderful dinner. We got their AYCE Platinum and it was well worth it.They have a ton of selections from entrees to appetizers and sides. Food was delicious and what stood out the most was the amazing service. All the waiters were extremely polite and attentive to anything we needed. We definitely will be back and recommending to our friends/family. A+ Food & Service
