Shik Do Rak

Tried this place for the first time over the weekend - had no expectations going in aside from it's a friend's favorite kbbq spot. We got the middle of three AYCE options since we wanted beef tongue.Seating is spacious, service is great, our server had banchan constantly refilled. The cucumbers, kimchi, rice paper, and radish were top tier. The price point is great for the amount of options you get.All the meats we got were delicious, they made sure we were decked out with the three sauces (brisket, oil/salt, hot sauce) at all times. Overall 5/5 would come here again.

A friend introduced me to this restaurant. Our visit took place mid-day, mid-week. This may explain why the restaurant was so quiet. The total square footage of this restaurant is large. The ventilation hoods above the table operate well. The wait staff provided very good service, including periodic change out of the grid iron (grill).We ordered the AYCE (all you can eat) lunch special. In spite to the AYCE handle, I don't think that they skimped on quality. The meat and banchan (side dishes) were good.

Shik Do Rak does not get enough praise as one of OC's most underrated KBBQ spots! I went here with a group of friends recently and it was not busy at all on a Wednesday night. The restaurant's parking situation is kind of weird LOL -- even finding the entrance was confusing at first. I will say though that Shik Do Rak has such a nice interior and my group and I really liked how the tables were arranged in a circular table instead of the usual rectangular ones! It made it much more intimate and all the tables are kind of bordered off, so you won't feel like you're sitting so close to other people LOL. The servers were super friendly and attentive! They were ready to take our orders and assist us with whatever we needed. We of course ordered ALLL the meats, including brisket, pork belly, and beef tongue just to name a few. The spicy tofu was so comforting and the entire meal in general left me and my group feeling so satisfied!Also really appreciated how they offer ice cream at the end, matcha will always be my go-to flavor! Shik Do Rak is definitely not the cheapest KBBQ spots -- but it is definitely one of the most noteworthy. Would definitely come back for more of their AYCE KBBQ!

Had a great (first time) experience at this location. Came at around 3ish and only a few tables occupied (lucky). The meats were good quality for the price (the tongue was a little tough but maybe it was my cookery to blame). The steak and the pork/beef belly were our faves. Be warned: portions are huge, so if you just wanna try it ask for half. And don't forget the free yogurt at the end to help cleanse that palate!!! YUMMY!!!

Bad service. Had only two plates of meat come out in 30 mins with group of 6. Missing orders and they only have 1-2 person waiting on tables . Better not tell me a 18% gratuity is added automatically for poor ass service

Ethan is the best server I've ever had. He is diligent and kind and I wish the best for him. I won't be able to come back again, but my experience was memorable.

Honestly I love this place so much come to celebrate a lot of special events and last night has to be the WORST service I have ever received in a LONG TIME!! We were forgotten and had to multiple ask for things and remind our waiter. There marinated short ribs are the best over all I will come back another day to see if they can maybe hire more people or improve in there service

Amazing service by ETHAN! He took care of my party of 5 at the end of a Wednesday night. He was patient, kind and hospitable. Kept checking up on us to refill our water and condiments. Definitely enjoyed this location more than the one at Irvine. Thank you Ethan !

Abraham served us and he was goated. Slide through for a good time. He was the best server in any kbbq spot I ever went to.

Food: 4.0 def better than avg and the sides were very good I think we asked for multiple refills because they were phenomenal. Egg had good flavor but not so much floofiness. Meats were overall pretty good to my surprise Service: 2.5 Oof I know it was the end of the night but our server disappeared and never came back with rice :,( it took so long to get service I had to get up and flag someone down IF they looked in my direction. Honestly felt like there was a decent amount of servers to tables so unsure of the avoiding of table attention. Ambience: 2.0 love the private tables but oh geez it was hot dog FREEZING cold D,: if you come at night wear 4 layers of clothes bc my hoodie and shirt did absolutely nothing. Overall solid 3 only bc I really enjoyed the food but was a bit disappointed as my auntie highly recommended this place :p The only other enticing thing is the price but beyond that idk if I'd return ;-;
