Good food, good looking staff, cheap prices. It's all you can ask for. Parking is tricky, don't park in the parking lot right behind it you will get yelled at. Street park!

the prices ARE SO CHEAP?!!!! seriously in this economy, the prices are seoul market eatery is great!!the portions are reasonably sized too! for all the dishes, I got small and it filled me up! Here's what we got:Spicy rice cake with ramen: 3/5 a little on the sweeter end for me but I loved the portion!! so filling!! beef kimbap: 4/5 I reallyed enjoyed the taste of the beef and the salad in the kimbap! lowkey tasted like a burger with the sauce and lettuce they use!sweet and spicy fried chicken m: 3/5 a little too sweet for me, but still yummy! Decent portion for $5! Come with fried rice cake too!!!!The space felt like a little Korean cafe kids come to after school!! The service was quick and ambience felt like a Korean cafe out of a movie!

Seoul Market Eatery is a Korean street market shop located in Koreatown. The inside mimics the street vibes that the food represents and people are able to write on the walls which is really cool. There's seating inside and you order up front. The food comes out really quickly and the service was standard.FoodWe tried the soy sauce chicken, the bulgogi and the tuna kimbab, tteokkbokkki, and skewered fish cake. A small is $5, a medium is $10, and a large is $15 and the kimbab is $5. The quality of the food isn't as good compared to other places in Koreatown but the price is amazing for the amount of food. We especially recommend the chicken and kimbab.Overall | 4.3The ambiance + service: 4.5/5The food: 4/5The price: $

i live behind the spot. its very convenient.people are transplanting here based off social media. here some tips for you.you can walk up to counter & order to go you dont have to wait outside. if you want to sit & eat walk in put your name on list if list isnt outside once you put your name on list notify an employee of your name & how many people & wait your turn. the staff is cool. but they are very unaware of the traffic they are getting so it overwhelms them that they are getting this much traffic. they dont speak the best english so please have patience with them.but yes some of the servers can have a more welcoming attitude.

*EXPECT LONG WAIT TIMES DURING WEEKEND* Came here after seeing the hype on Tiktok, and was not disappointed. However, as we came on the weekend, the wait times were crazy and the interior was small. There is barely any parking places nearby, so just a heads up you might want to do street parking. Food:We got the shrimp kimbap (8.5/10)- super crunchy shrimp inside, delicious!!Bulgogi mayo rice bowl (7/10)- It was just okay, beef was dry, not enough sauces and they pack the bowl with mainly salad, not much riceSweet and spicy chicken (8/10)- crunchy, saucy, pretty decent chickenOverall, the prices are SUPERRRR affordable and portions were worth it for the price

Good food. Won't find this price for the portion anywhere. Delicious and simple menu. $20 Will bring you a long way. We were able to be full with three items size small costing less than $20. Pretty well sized restaurant where you can go straight to the counter and order and then pick a seat. Staff will bring you the food and it usually comes out very quickly.spicy rice cakes, ttoekboki - pretty standard. Not too spicy and not too sweet.Fish cake skewer, Oden - very nice, the soup is very cozy and well salted. They also provide extra cup for the soupFried chicken - delicious, it has a great crunch, boneless, dipping it in the spicy rice cake sauce also gives it an extra sweet and spicy flavor

Due to some mixed reviews, I had tempered my expectations but found Seoul Market Eatery to be delightful. This is a half-service eatery where you wait to be seated and order at the front. They'll only serve the food and utensils. Service was prompt and good; we were seated soon after. The restaurant is small but well decorated with old-timey Korean store exteriors.Everything we ordered was great. Was it the best Korean street food I've had? Probably not, but was it still delicious? Absolutely. I love that they offer almost all of their menu items in different sizes. Great portions, the chicken was especially generous for just $5! The assorted tempura was surprisingly good with the right amount of fried batter. Don't forget to dip the tempura in the tteokbokki sauce :)Street parking only, be sure to read the signs. You can park on Olympic blvd from 10 am to 3 pm on a weekday and anytime on the weekend. Was fairly easy to park on Saturday around 3.If you are a food critic, the food may not impress. But, if you're looking for Korean street food that won't break the bank, this place can't be beat. Super affordable, delish, and perfect size choices; I'll be back!

Seoul Market Eatery offers a nostalgic facade that fails to mask its culinary shortcomings. The establishment's primary allure lies in its budget-friendly pricing, with dishes priced at a mere ~$5. However, this affordability comes at a significant cost to quality and authenticity. The food, while visually reminiscent of Korean street fare, is disappointingly mediocre. The flavors and textures are reminiscent of frozen, pre-packaged meals one might find in the aisles of H Mart, lacking the vibrancy and depth characteristic of genuine Korean cuisine. For those well-versed in Korean culinary traditions or capable of replicating these dishes at home, the offerings at Seoul Market Eatery will likely prove underwhelming. The tteokbokki, a quintessential Korean street food, lacks the chewy texture and complex spice profile one would expect. Instead, it presents as a pale imitation of its authentic counterpart. The fried chicken, while crispy, fails to deliver the juicy interior and nuanced flavors that define superior Korean fried chicken. The restaurant's ambiance, with its wall doodles and retro decor, attempts to evoke a sense of Korean nostalgia. However, this carefully crafted atmosphere serves more as a distraction from the subpar cuisine than as a complement to a quality dining experience. For those seeking an authentic taste of Korean street food, Seoul Market Eatery falls short. Its offerings are more akin to hastily prepared, frozen convenience meals than the vibrant, freshly made delicacies one would encounter on the streets of Seoul. The establishment's popularity seems to stem more from its affordability and Instagram-friendly aesthetics than from any culinary merit.

Went with a group of 4 to grab some snacks! Very small, but cozy inside. We waited around 10 minutes, but no worries there - only few staff were working at the time.Everything on the menu is priced perfectly. From portion size to taste, it hits right on the money. If you're craving Korean boonsik, I highly recommend you visit! You won't be disappointed.Although we went at night so parking was easy, but I can see it being tough during the day or on weekends.
