I visited the restaurant during holiday season so it's very understandable that the service is a bit slow because there only one person who worked as a server and cashier.I ordered galbi jim and I can say that this is one the best galbi jim I ever had. It's so tender and packed with flavors. It was so good that I have to asked for another serving of rice.Although it might seem expensive ($50ish), there's so much meat enough for 2-3 person and knowing how long it takes to make those ribs so effortlessly to chew, the price is fair for me. This is a labour of love.The banchan was great too, I really enjoy the steam egg custard and burdock root.Lastly, to owner who is so sweet and friendly to everyone, thank you for making a great food!

I known this place for long time but I didn't go for eat, always ordered delivery but finally I went to this place for eat and I really liked it. This place is clean and very kindly served.Feel like you know them for long times. I tired Yuksu bulggogi, baby octopus bibimbap, galbitang and galbijjim. This place galbijjim was popular menu. But I like Yuksu bulggogi more than galbijjim. My number one pick was galbijjim before but now Yuksu bulggogi at this place. I highly recommend this place! If you're around K-town then should

Small place, located in a shopping center. We found parking easily on a Sunday We tried the bibimbop, kimchi pancakes and sundubo soup. The pancakes were very crispy and delicious. The soup was my least favorite because it wasn't as flavorful as the other food. I love that they serve complementary ban chan and ice tea. Servers were very nice . A bit slow but we weren't in a rush.

After catching a matinee at The Pantages, we headed over to K-town for a casual dinner, craving some comforting Korean food. It was still early, around 6 p.m., but the parking lot was already packed, so we parked on the street. We were seated right away at a table for six and started ordering: a couple of tofu soups, a few hot stone bibimbap, and a kimchi pancake to share. One of us also opted for the galbi tang.The banchan served with the meal was plentiful, and I especially loved how crispy the kimchi pancakes were. In fact, we all agreed they were the best we'd had at any Korean restaurant. Usually, kimchi pancakes can be too doughy for my taste, but these had the perfect crunch. I ordered the mild tofu soup, which was ideal for me since I can't handle spicy food. My husband mentioned that there wasn't a lot of bulgogi in his bibimbap, though.A quick note: this place has a very "mom-and-pop" vibe, with just one Korean auntie handling everything from taking orders to clearing tables. As a result, the service was a bit slow, and it was hard to flag her down for things like refilling water or making other requests. Overall, the food was solid, but the slow service made it feel a bit overpriced for the experience.

The food was great. The service was excellent. We enjoyed the spicy pork a lot and the beef soup was rich and satisfying.

Cozy spot with great service and home style Korean fare. We ordered the bugolgi and LA galbi were were tasty, and were provided generous sides. I will definitely be back!

Came here with some friends for a weekend lunch. We all got all soondubu with beef or beef and seafood since we heard that's what's good here, along with the seafood pancake. Banchan is good with free refills and the soup was really good. Flavorful and plenty of meat and tofu and came with a side of white rice. Good serving size and I had some to take back as leftovers. Standout item was definitely seafood pancake. Tons of seafood pieces which most places are stingy with. Lots of seafood and chives so it was a crispy and not super doughy pancake. Definitely order this or the kimchi pancake if you go. As other reviews mention, service is a bit slow since there was only 1 waitress but if you're not in a rush and have time to spare, then you can probably look past this. Waitress was very sweet though!

Galbi Jjim is one of the most iconic beef stews. And as we all know, a beef stew could be made many different ways. I'm always surprised to find how many different things can be added or omitted. One of the pleasant surprises was the rice cake. As far as the broth it was rich and sweet, I would say a little tad on the too sweet side for my taste. But nonetheless still delicious. I prefer more radish and expected some Ginko nuts or chestnut and jujubes.The mix of sides or Ban Chan Was really good since they had burdock root and the custard, I really enjoy having something different than the usual and appreciate it.Every time I have a tofu, silky, tofu, hot pot. I'm always amazed at how it can stay steaming hot all the way to the last bite. The pork hot pot is just like a typical hot pot with those surprises. I have to say the seafood is amazing if you like the taste of seafood. It does a really good job of infusing seafood flavors into the broth. There's so many dishes to try and I feel like they land them all pretty good that I'm never disappointed.

Food was delicious and the staff who waited us are super kind and attentive! I highly recommend popping by especially if you're having a Korean cuisine craving. The restaurant felt super cozy to eat in too!

Delicious food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. The kimchi jjigae is one of the best dishes on the menu!!
