I love love love this place. The PERFECT stop for coffee on Valentine's Day! I love how much seating they have added and it's just so adorable inside. When a coffee shop is cute, comfy AND has great coffee? It's the biggest win of all! I'm not a sweet coffee person, but I wanted to try the rose flavored latte. It was perfect. It wasn't too syrupy or sweet and the foam was soooo delicious and had the perfect consistency. They have a lot of diverse beverages on their menu that I am looking forward to trying. Customer service was very good as well. This is a total neighborhood spot and true hidden gem! They have a bunch of pastries, both sweet and savory, but I think depending on the time of day you go, they may have a smaller inventory. I picked up a heart shaped donut (cute!) for Valentine's Day. They even have a little candy bar where you can create your own goodie bag. I wanted to try the Dubai chocolate, but they only had these huge bars of it at the time ($35) and it would have been to much for just one person to try. This is a great spot for a coffee date, meeting, or weekend hang spot. They have plenty of outside seating too in the adorable little courtyard. I brought my laptop with me and found it to be a great space with good wifi to get some work done! I absolutely love it here. It's totally hidden off of the main BLVD but you've got to make the stop and check it out!

Tasty and super cute. I thought the prices were fair, especially for Sherman Oaks.I ordered a banana pudding and a coffee.The pudding was 10/10,flavorful,creamy and a large portion size.It is rich so it fills you up.The female cashier was friendly and I ate outside at the table and chairs.

Super cute place that's hidden in Sherman Oaks. Super cute design and sweet workers. They had a good variation of pasteries and coffee. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and it was good but not the best. I was a bit disappointed in the foam but I understand that not many baristas are able to create a good foam with almond milk. They also had a good lunch selection but I will need to try it another time.

Love this coffee shop! The pink decor and relaxing ambience are such a treat when I come to get my coffee and pastry. I usually try the speciality seasonal coffee and get the spinach and cheese danish. Love the indoor and outdoor seating. Great staff and there is a loyalty program. I'd come more often if it was just a little bit cheaper

They have an array of delicious pastries. Service and staff is top notch! I've only seen the pictures of their food and that mortadella sandwich has been calling my name. Will need to come in and sit down because I've only ever picked up a for pick up orders. They have a nice outdoor patio and parking in the back so it's a cool spot. Coming back for a meal and pastry visit. Oh and the owner is amazing as well! She's sweet.

My spouse and I decided to pick up some bread from Schatzi's and have lunch there since the weather was perfect. I first requested the crusty King Ludwig bread we had ordered, and they told us it had just come out of the oven. The aroma of freshly baked bread took me back home, where bakeries like this are found on nearly every corner in Bavaria and beyond. This bread, named after our last Bavarian king, made me feel truly honored as a Bavarian--thank you! :)The young lady behind the counter, whom I believe was named Anna, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. My spouse ordered tea and a chopped vegan salad, while I opted for lemonade and a French baguette/Jambon-Beurre sandwich. The baguette was so fresh as if it had just come out of the oven! There was a small mix-up with the cold cut; instead of ham and butter, it came with mortadella, which I'm not fond of. I went to the counter, and they quickly fixed it. I really appreciated how beautifully the sandwich was presented--it doesn't take much to make something look special, so kudos to the owners. My spouse enjoyed his salad, and I loved my sandwich. The service was excellent, and the other customers outside were so pleasant. I even chatted with some fellow dog lovers (I'm a dog lover, too!).The only challenge was parking. We wanted to use the parking lot, but due to an event at a new restaurant, it was all valet. We weren't prepared for that and, being handicapped, we prefer to park ourselves. When we asked the valet if we could park since we were going to Schatzi's, he seemed unsure and mentioned various time limits. Neither of us wanted to feel rushed during our lunch. Luckily, we found parking on Ventura Blvd, and it was definitely worth it!

I had plans to be in the Valley and Big Brother must have been trolling me because this place popped up for me on Insta. It looked too cute not to stop at since I was already going to be in the area. OMG this place's decor did not disappoint. This is a very IGable place. Go with your friends and enjoy the picture opportunities, including in the patio. I went early afternoon on a Friday so there was ample parking in the lot (parking was free). It was a bit hard to figure out where they were located as there are multiple stores in the courtyard but I asked someone for directions and easily found it thereafter. The item I really wanted to try was the white chocolate lavender latte. It seems many coffee places are now adding lavender drinks to their menu. This drink, unfortunately, was disappointing. I like sweet drinks and even for me, this was too sweet. Once the ice melted, it took the sweetness down a notch. The lavender, however, did not pair well with this drink as it was fresh lavender. Perhaps a lavender syrup would improve this drink. Also, I could not taste the coffee whatsoever. The pastries, however, made up for the subpar coffee. The chocolate explosion was like a brownie wrapped in a puff pastry. Highly recommend. The blueberry/lemon pastry was also a nice flavor combo. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to try more pastries because they all looked so good but how much sugar can one person have? I'm not a pie person but have been thinking of banana cream pie for quite so time so you know ya girl got her some banana pudding. Do not skip out on this -- this was so creamy and delicious. This was probably my favorite item. The portion is generous and if you can pace yourself, it will last you 3-4 days ($8). Very cute concept created by the owners. The employees were also very nice, attentive and helpful.

The food, service and experience is so incredible. It feels like you're walking into a little French shop. The pastries are delicious! And I looooved that they have the courtyard. Far enough from Ventura Blvd to be calm but a great space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Their hot chocolate is made with powder however vs actual melted chocolate and milk, fyi.

Food is good but people are working on computer for a long time and talking by cell phone loudly. It's terrible ! I could not enjoy the coffee and food. They are ruining such a cute atmosphere. Disappointed.

Schatzi's Bakery & Cafe is the perfect spot for a cute brunch with the girls! The pesto gnocchi was delicious and the matcha latte is my personal favorite. The atmosphere is absolutely adorable, with a super girly vibe that's totally Instagram-worthy. The pastries and desserts are a must try, and the candy bar adds such a fun touch! The owner is also so kind, and welcoming. If you're looking for a place to enjoy great food, sweets, and a picture-perfect setting, this is definitely the place to go!
