This is my second time ordering from this restaurant (via Grubhub) and I am sold! Ordered the tempura, the spicy chicken legs and the fries and I'm absolutely stuffed and couldn't even finish all of the food! The portions are really ample. Everything tasted just as good as it did the first time so I definitely want to let them know that they have a repeat customer.

Have I found the perfect replacement for my #1 go to vegan Thai spot??My review is solely based on the food itself as I've never dined in, having only ordered through Uber eats about 3 times now. I've tried a variety of dishes, always being left desiring I had ordered more. Their Kow Soi is a well spiced curry with perfectly cooked veggies, noodles, your choice of meat, and delicate garnishes to top of the dish. Definitely a must try item. 9/10Classified as a warm salad, their tofu larb hits almost all the tastes of sweet, salty, and a little spicy, with a bit of grainy rice powder and lemongrass that gives the dish a nice minty Fragrance . A top second must try! 8.5/10Now for the dish that sits on a pedestal, the winner-winner-chicken-dinner- is their mango sticky rice. Do you know how difficult it is to find a restaurant that can actually nail this sweet delicate dessert on a perfect 10/10 rating??? Well they do it. Sweet mango, perfectly sticky and well cooked rice, with more than enough yummy coconut sauce, ugh I die for this dessert. And they are never skimpy on the sauce, they always pay attention to my notes asking for extra sauce. 10/10 My only unfortunate experience is with their fresh rolls, which is why I bring it down to 4 stars. Again, I am HUGE on sauce. Whatever dish I get, I need to know that the sauce it is paired with completes the dish, and doesn't overpower or under compensate. The fresh rolls themselves are good! But their peanut sauce is a disappointment. Too spicy, too little, and not enough peanut flavor. I think the chili's they add into it numb your tongue and make it inedible. 4/10. One day I'll have to dine in to really get the Samata experience.

Food 3/5: pad thai with tofu did not have much flavor in my opinion, and the dish looked exactly like Salaya's for my husband's dish Khao Mun Gai. I think this place wanted to be like Salaya but didn't quite match the food quality. Service 5/5Ambiance 3/5: It's a cozy looking place, fairly small, but cute.

Amazing service! Small place, kind of a mom and pop shop- which felt special. The food was amazingly fresh and perfect. Will definitely go back with my vegetarian and vegan friends.

Cozy spot and well put-together. Great to have a Thai place that's veggie friendly without having to worry about fish sauce etc, and reasonably priced (with good sized portions). Very kind and accommodating service. The Hellfire Chicken was a highlight. Stir around some garlic chili oil in that. Prepare to sweat a little (good sweat, honest sweat).

Excellent! My new favorite place for a variety of delicious, healthy meals. A small, simple Thai place run by a couple who can use our support. Attentive service by the wife who remembered my special needs upon my second visit, which is no onions and no garlic. Not a problem to accommodate my allergies. Been there three times now and going back again today, trying something different each time. Excellent, tender soy chicken, and yesterday a tasty curry dish including crunchy, fresh vegetables. (Their french fries are really good, too, which a friend ordered.) I usually get medium spicy which adds to the flavor without being too extreme. Perhaps one reviewer who thought it lacked flavor ordered too mild. A modest store front a half block south of Sunset Blvd. on Highland does not attract attention driving by, and parking can be difficult. But so worthwhile. I hope more people go to keep them in business. They've been there a year as of this writing. As a vegetarian it's wonderful to be able to order anything on a menu. Non-vegans would enjoy the food, too, and be pleasantly surprised.

Got Vegan Chicken Pad Thai for takeout. Very good. Some places make it too sweet. Others are tasteless. This was just right and with a fair amount of chicken. Easily accessible location. Very nice people.

Just ate here for the second time and it was even better than the first. Food is amazing. Drinks are too. The best Thai food I've had in LA. So many options on the menu, can't wait to try it all. The vegan chicken is especially flavorful, not fake tasting. Everything is seasoned to perfection. Get the mango coconut rice... it's to die for. Attentive service and overall a friendly, familial ambiance with knowledgeable owner.
