One of the best first dates Haik and I had was at Saint & Second. So when I fund out they opened a new location in Woodland Hills I knew we had to go back. The new space is gorgeous! We started off with the best martini and its called there perfect martini and rightfully so. If you like tinis THIS IS IT!The spicy tuna was fantastic, the wasabi tobiko on top is a perfect touchYellowfin ceviche was so fresh. The coconut oil, the mango, a lot is going on in this and it works so well, especially paired with the taro chips.Mezze Plate was a hit. combination of Baba ghanoush, labne and muhamarra.. all so so tasty. Haik got the S&S BURGER which he inhaled in 2 seconds and I got this gorgeous branzino. placed on top of parsnip puree with chimichiro on top.. im getting hungry doing this edit lol Also thank you Isaiah for the amazing service. All this to say, grab your mom, husband, wife, neighbor and go to saint & second in woodland hills.

I've been eyeing this place since it opened, but hadn't got around to it until tonight. My husband and I came in around 4pm, although it was quite empty, it didn't feel awkward and quiet. The decor is simple but attention grabbing enough without being overwhelming (that's a tongue twister!)We ordered the calamari, glazed pork belly (the kimchi that came with it was SO GOOD we ordered an extra SIDE of it!!) , the branzino and butternut.Everything was not only pleasant to the eye, but pleasant to the stomach. We sat at the bar and staff was attentive and provided good suggestions. The ambiance is perfect, there's music that isn't too loud, but enough to hear, and the settings were great. My husband and I concluded that the bar is the "casual" area, but for a date night and dining? Dressing up a bit wouldn't hurt ;-)Before we left, my husband and I met John, one of the managers, he was pleasant to talk too. We're looking forward to coming back.

Gorgeous restaurant. However the staff was very off.We had issues with our food and it took a half hour to find our waitress to fix our order and the restaurant was empty( she was in the kitchen )By the time the food order was fixed we were already over it and ready to leave . The restaurant is new so I'd go back to try it again in a few weeks and hope they get their staff in order. Food was just ok, branzino and squash ravioli . I'll definitely try something else next time as I was not blown away by either and both items were cold. We did get a free order of fries while the chef recooked our order and those were delicious . I really hope the restaurant survives and thrives but management needs to step in and train everyone properly .

Cute new spot in the Topanga village. It replaced Lucile's. I went for brunch but they have dinner and drinks too. My favorite item was the French toast and chilaquiles. The servers were super sweet

Saint and Second is a fabulous addition to WH. Having opened as a neighbourhood restaurant in Dec, we've visited three times in one week. Both food and service are just that consistent and exceptional. The restaurant's relaxed, sociable ambiance belies its location at the edge of the Topanga Village, which at times seems to be floundering. The eatery brings the most successful elements of its SoCal locations, from inventive Meditteranean mezze plates to colourful vegetable-filled plates and Asian-inspired seafood dishes, all of which surprisingly showcase humble and decadent ingredients for palates expecting remarkable highs. The expansive domestic spirits and wine list is well worth splurging on a bottle vs. per glass pricing as you can easily enjoy top-tier varietals at great prices alongside gold and copper glass finishes. The social bar tops for service, thanks to folks like Lennon, Maddy, and Isaiah, who run the bar smoothly on weeknights. This duo pours deceivingly simple yet creative cocktails that bring out an impressive skill level and pair perfectly with the warm, fun vibe that infuses the dimly lit space.Plan ahead, as the wait time for a table can hit upwards of an hour. Parking is metered and sparse on Saturday nights. But it's well worth the visit if you're gratuitously bored of the Village's anchor food joints.

Very chic inside look with an ideal location. Saint & Second you have the potential to be the next Joeys (huge compliment). Every appetizer we had was delicious. The truffle fries were the best I have ever had- anywhere. Now onto what needs improvement... I went in around 5pm on a Sunday with 3 others and the service was sooooo slow. There were not many people dining or drinking in the restaurant so it was somewhat disappointing that everything we ordered from water to drinks to appetizers took so long to come out. Fortunately we had enough time to stay as long as it took the food to come out and then eat and drink what we ordered. Now onto the drinks- I tried a couple of them-"the penicillin" was not a hit for me (the others tried it and were displeased as well). But let me tell you---- this bar book of yours is huge. Many drinks to choose from and many specialty drinks with numerous ingredients- many of which I have never heard of. This in itself requires an expert level bartender that has studied these drinks and it will surely take time to master so many speciality cocktails. Also our server was not very familiar with the drink menu so that could also stand to be improved. I am hoping this all changes with time. My friend who was doing a dry January said her non alcoholic drink was amazing. Like I mentioned. Saint & Second I will be back and I will order more items from the menu and I know we will find a drink that I like. I am hoping your service speed will improve as more people trickle in. I am excited for what lies in store. I will update upon my return. I have been craving your truffle fries since the night we left.

New spot. Large amount of seating and beautiful dimlit interior. Staff was very polite and attentive. Enjoyed that the servers described each dish, staff walked me to the bathroom, and owner/manager stopped by to say hi and see if there was anything that could be helped.Appetizers:Gochujang pork belly- well cooked, little kick to it, enjoyable, just a little too saltyCalamari- Unique flavor with the chorizo aioli, the lemon was also fried and tastyOysters (half or full dozen)- kind of pricey but tastyEntrees:Branzino- nice and crispy, tasty enjoyable chimichurri sauceShrimp a la plancha- Al dente rissoto for people that don't prefer as soggy, great flavor, shrimp with head taste (for those that are fearful of shrimp heads)Steak and frites- super tender, well cooked, great steak highly recommend- The duck fat fries didn't taste that flavorful almost like regular fries, feel like I've had more flavorful duck fat fries Butternut cavatelli - unique flavor, very Al dente pasta, not much Brussel sprouts, good flavor, if you like butternut it's a nice aftertaste flavorDessert:Pistachio cake- just a hair dry, it was decent, sounded tasty but wasn't that impressed, would probably try something different, little sea salt Chocolate mouse- given for bday, chocolate mousse, actually more tasty than the pistachio cakeOverall a beautiful venue, wonderful staff, and tasty food. Not every dish was perfect but as a whole they were very enjoyable. As a heads up the pasta options seemed to be consistently on the Al dente side. Really enjoyed and would recommend the steak & frites and butternut pasta. Food: 4.5/5Ambiance: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall: 4.5/5

This restaurant will certainly be our go to breakfast place if not dinner. We came for a lazy Sunday breakfast after a short walk with our two dogs. We sat in the patio had chic furniture. With the restaurants sliding windows, opened We had a nice view of the inside of the restaurant which has a classy modern Decoration. The restaurant is quite spacious with fairly high ceilings and elegant finishes throughout. The service was polite and pleasant. We ordered the eggs Benedict and French toast. Both of them were generous portions and had excellent quality of every ingredient. Th Canadian bacon in the eggs Benedict tasted like very high-quality English bacon, as opposed to the drab round Canadian bacon served elsewhere. Our dogs share their own grilled chicken breast treat. The family was happy and satisfied at the end of our meal.

My wife and I had brunch last Sunday and it was an amazing experience. The restaurant is beautiful and the food wasn't delicious. Our server Ryan was amazing and really made us feel welcome and like us coming in was important to him. He told us all about how the restaurant got started and the menu and made great suggestions. We will definitely be back for more delicious food and will be asking for Ryan!

I had eaten at Saint and Second in Long Beach before and absolutely loved it so imagine my surprise seeing it right near my home in Woodland Hills! I went in last night and had the most unforgettable experience mostly due to my server, Ryan. He was charming, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu as I had a lot of questions because it has been a while since I had eaten at the Long Beach location. I couldn't have asked for a better server. I will definitely be coming back in and asking for him since I live so close and love the food. Thank you Ryan!!!
