I am not quite sure what the hype is about for this place. Everyone said that the place is good, we came after we went to a hike by the Hollywood sign, hoping for the hype to be there. the place was empty, the parking lot is small and shared with a lot of businesses and its in the middle of Hollywood so street parking is even more impossible.we luckily found parking, but this place the food was pricy for LA Mexican food, and it wasn't even that good. i'd say that the beans weren't cooked all the way, the chicken seems a bit old, and the waiters did not speak English and they were out of some stuff on the menu?it was middle of weekend at around 10a, so i was slightly confused. there is no bathroom for dine in, and also some items they have do not have price, and it would be easier if the waiter did speak English bc i was trying to ask about the other stuff and he was not able to answer and said sorry. overall, food isn't great or fresh for that fact, no bathroom, and pricy. would not come backnot sure if they were better back then? but this was a miss

The food, the service/riming, the ambience, I mean everything is top notch. You wouldn't think you'd find such excellent Mexican food on Hollywood Boulevard. But here it is a gem, a hidden gem, and they don't overcharge! I hope they stay that way. I'll review soon again hopefully with the same flying colors. This is a true one-of-a-kind that deserves a DDD visit soon! Highly recommend, right now!

This restaurant is in the middle of a plaza that is pretty busy. I love the vibrant colors inside, the staff was accommodating and friendly & food portions were huge!! I was not expecting that. My friend got a Carne Asada burrito and she said that the Carne Asada was a bit tough to eat. I got Chilaquiles with a side of rice and beans, which you have to pay for separately. It was really good, but it's such a huge portion that I believe you could share it with someone else.

Waste of money. Posole and shrimp cocktail are void of any flavor. Everything tastes like water. Just fat and bones in the soup too, no meat. Will never come back.

La comida no es bueno aqui y no sabía a comida mexicana autentica tampoco. I had the worst caldo de pollo ever here. I was looking forward to a delicious soup but ended up getting sour chicken and thick vegetables that weren't even edible. There was no potatoes at all either?? The food was so disappointing, it tasted bland and was orange. I never had caldo de pollo orange and taste like oranges.
