Running Goose is a hidden gem with a cozy patio and a creative menu that puts a fresh spin on Latin-inspired dishes. The outdoor seating is beautiful, especially in the evening, making it a great spot for a date night or casual gathering. The food is well-prepared with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The duck tamale and short rib are standouts, and the small plates make it easy to try a variety of dishes. Cocktails are well-crafted and pair nicely with the food.Service is generally good, though it can be a bit slow during peak hours. Prices are reasonable for the quality, but portions can be on the smaller side. Overall, a great spot for a unique dining experience with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

his is the best brunch spot and with dishes made with love and heart you must go here! I recommend the Dirty Eggs as it's great organic sloppy goodness that needs a fork and knife! Arman is the best energy and very welcoming us! The $30 bottomless mimosas option is quite the deal. I love the garden decor as it leads to good lighting and special because ingredients are pulled from it to make your meals wonderful! Before and after the pandemic, we have been going here to support and enjoy this amazing menu! I am always excited to dine here as their menu is from their actual garden in the back areas. Kind people work here who are great at explaining menu items very well! great job everyone!

The food was amazing, every piece or component of every dish was a star in itself. Definitely filled a comfort food vibe. We're definitely coming back, especially after a show.Don't let the inside space fool you the exterior is where it's at. Reminded me of an outdoor café in France or Italy.Service was impeccable. Amazing attention to detail. It's a must visit.

We picked this place based on their rating and its closeness to a concert we were going to. The outside sitting is cozy and cute but the inside not so inviting. The service was very good. The food was tasty but the portions were small for the price they were charging. Loved their burger and that was our favourite. The duck had a beautiful presentation but you could not taste the duck meat. The Calamari and Gomba were good as well. I just did not like the fact that they had a minimal selection of wine and I tried their only option for Chardonnay and it was not good at all.

The Running Goose is where it's at and I am running to it! This spot was recommended as a great place to grab unique bites and have a casual experience. The actual experience outshined my pals review entirely. We were immediately captivated by the perfect low lighting atmosphere and the very welcoming staff. The food choices ranged all over the place with a surplus of food that you think you know but you will be blown away by presentation and taste. The tacos - all exceptional! Not a bad taco in the bunch. Absolutely delicious... prob could have ordered 5 orders of these. The beet quesadilla? Extremely overwhelming with delicious flavor... this is another dish that I could have ordered 10 of. When you hear beeet quesadilla, I don't think anyone is goin' wild over it but when you taste it... you will be screaming it from the rooftops. We learned later on in the night that this is a family owned business. Love that. Decently priced, parking wasn't too wild and I absolutely love the name of this place. Can't wait to go back. Don't sleep on the running goose! (oh ya the carrots were also mind blowing and tasted like they were from the carnival - sweet and dessert-like, even though they prob weren't supposed to be dessert-like but that's just how good and sweet they were!!)

Delicious food! Everything was so good. We liked that it had an outdoor seating area that was dog friendly. My favorite was my gnocchi pasta and the calamari. The steak is the only thing that I wouldn't order again because it has a strong smoke/charcoal flavor that overpowered the meat flavor.Maybe some people prefer it, but it wasn't good for meWe will be back to try their other dishes.

TLDR: Running Goose just trying to run away from the spotlight but should not because it is deserving! The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the ambiance was gorg. Ordered: Corn tostado: 3/5You know, it was exactly what it said it was...a small toastado with corn on it. I didn't hate it but I was struggling to understand it's purpose. Pear Salad: 4/5 Light, fresh and citrusy. A nice side salad! Mushroom Gnocchi: 5/5I have never had Gnocchi like this. If all it was like this I fear I would be in danger. I can't even describe but it was soft, pillowy and ginormous. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and added such a good flavor. Can't forget about the fresh parm. Service: 5/5 Truly lovely people. Very friendly and took care of us well! Ambiance: 5/5 People were right it really is a quiet tucked away place in the busy streets of Hollywood. Can definitely breathe upscale if that's the vibe for the night while still having a homey family restaurant. Would definitely come back!

Running Goose offers a pleasant dining experience with both indoor and outdoor patio seating. However, finding parking can be a bit of a challenge due to metered street parking.I visited for lunch and tried a variety of dishes. The corn tostada was a standout, with its crunchy texture and well-balanced sweet and tangy flavors. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, but the accompanying Moroccan relish was a bit too salty for my taste. The chilaqueles were decent, although the short rib could have been a bit more tender. While the food was generally good, the service was a bit slow because there was only one person doing both - taking orders and serving the food. Overall, Running Goose is a decent option for a casual meal in Los Angeles, but there are likely better choices for those seeking exceptional service.

What a great experience. Little gem tucked away in downtown. Seating is in a garden like atmosphere. All covered outside seating. The service was great. So kind and offered great suggestions. Attentive and knowledgeable. We started with baked Brie, all 4 options for the veggie tostadas, and the fried carrots. We loved the corn tostadas so much we ordered more. The fried carrots were sooooo good!!! We ordered main course. Each was unique and delicious. Finished with the crème brûlée and pavlova. So fresh and unique. We always pick a unique place to go using Yelp and this one was a winner!
