Fresh seafood! Friendly staff! And great atmosphere seating at the bar inside the farmers mkt!I highly recommend the baja cod tacos special and the salmon burger! I asked for extra pickles with the burger and they were very generous and brought out a small plate with pickles. The Chef forgot to add the tomatoes and onions inside the burger but didn't forget to provide it afterwards. Nice catch! No pun intended :)Parking validation available for 90 min. if you eat here or consume produce inside farmers mkt. Don't get confused with The Grove parking lot. It's easier to park on the side of 3rd and Fairfax.

Located at the Grove farmers market. Plenty of parking (have patience if visiting on the weekend). Friendly service! Cindy was really nice and very attentive. We sat at the counter top (they do have seating around the area...self seating/open seating). Everything is outdoors so bring a jacket if the weather is cool! The food was average. We ordered the shrimp and fries and the ceviche. They do not have alcohol but they do allow you to bring alcoholic beverages from the surrounding restaurants.

Stopped by on Friday, 12/06/24 for the first time (dinner time). Located at The Grove Farmers Market, I ordered the following:- 1 codfish tacos (2 total tacos - 1 grilled and 1 fried) = $12- 1 french fries = $6SUBTOTAL = $18TAX = $1.72TOTAL = $19.72Wait time was minimal. You can also ask for a cup of water. Fries were delicious and not too salty. The tacos were amazing but not the best - very small and not worth $6 per taco.

Really good seafood cooked fresh right in the middle of the farmers market. I wish they had better drink choices and the wait staff is a little preoccupied with their own conversations when I was there. Would definitely eat here again though.

Located in the Original Farmer's Market in Los Angeles, Roxy and Jo serves up a variety of different seafood dishes, all meant to be eaten in the shared outdoor dining area that make up the center of the Market. My aunts and I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes, some of them good, while others felt like misses. You order and pay upfront, and then leave your phone number to be paged. It took a while (which was expected since our order included freshly shucked oysters), and I had to make multiple trips back and forth to safely bring the food back (so probably good to sit down near the restaurant).Dozen oysters on the half shell ($37) - it was a mix of both eastern and western oysters....and at $3 per, a good deal. It came with Mignonette, horseradish, and cocktail sauce and each one had been freshly shucked. This was well done, worth getting if you don't mind the small selection.Lobster rolls and fries ($30) - disappointing. Both aunts got the connecticut style (warm with hot butter), which was served on a large extremely buttered broche bun. Unfortunately, the lobster meat used wasn't good, with a lot of claw meat (especially the lower end of the crusher claw which tastes like rubber)...I understand why one should choose rolls made with knuckle meat if you can. The fries were hot, not too greasy, and filling.Hot Bay Scallops ($28) - for 12, served on the half shell. They looked beautiful, but didn't taste good...I ended up eating most of it, just because I didn't want it to go to waste. The chimichurri is the main ingredient, and it was very off-putting when baked. The prosciutto did add a lot of saltiness, but the taste I was hoping for (bacon wrapped scallops)...didn't happen.Large Lobster Bisque ($14) - darker in nature because of the roux used, this was pretty good, with a definite taste of sherry prevalent. It also included a few big chunks of lobster...would have been better if shredded a bit more.As one can imagine, we produced a big mess of remains, with many dishes being specific to the seafood place. But as soon as we stood up, our tables were immediately bussed and the reusable dishes ultimately being returned to the right place (I'm assuming).

We shopped at the Grove and wanted to stop by for a quick lunch. After meandered around the place, we were attracted to the menu and quickly sat down. We ordered the poke bowl with ponzu salmon, cod tacos, Brussels sprouts and the hot scallops. Everything came out quick and fresh. The Brussels sprouts were roasted nicely but on the tender side but lack of seasoning. The same with my cod taco. I wish there's more seasoning. I'd like to try their fish and chips next time which look really good. Overall, it's a good and satisfying lunch.

Tried eating at The Grove's farmers market for the first time! The best part about our order was the fries, they were seasoned very well. The fish was cooked well but the batter wasn't crispy at all. For the price, I expect it to be better. Clam chowder was a bit watery. Good service though!

Road Trip!!! We ended up at the famous farmers market in Los Angeles, CA. Soooo many choices of food. We ended up choosing Roxy and Joe's for fish n chips. Service was great. The outside eating experience was awesome. So many people and so many food choices. The fish n chips had a generous serving of French fries and 3 pieces of cod. Delicious!!!

Had the Fish and Chips and it was solid. Huge portion and the fish was fresh. It could have had a bit more flavor.
