I came here with some colleagues after work on a Friday. I was able to easily find a parking spot, despite it being a smaller surface parking lot. The restaurant was beautifully decorated. We grabbed a booth by the bar and it was super cute. It was decorated with colorful pillows, and was comfy. Our bartender Thomas (I believe) was super friendly, and had great vibes. He and another server took care of us throughout our stay. I ordered a really fruity tropical rum based drink, and a Paloma, and let me tell you! They were strong . Very potent. We grabbed a few appetizers to snack on aside from the delicious bread & butter. We had the fried chicken bites & the jalapeño poppers. They were so yummy. Because it was during happy hour, we got half off drinks. Can't complain about that. The service was great, everyone was friendly & chatty, & had very good energy. The food & drinks were great. This will definitely be our new watering hole. Can't wait to try their main entrees.

We had such a nice evening at Rosti! Our hostesses were very nice and accommodating and checked up on us a couple times (but not too many that it is TOO much, haha). We had the mozz sticks, the beet and Gorgonzola salad, and the linguine with spicy pink sauce and chicken. The mozz sticks were good - nothing crazy special but hit the spot and I liked the marinara they came with. The salad was yummy but I wish they used larger pieces of beets (the ones we had were kind of like grated pieces) and more gorgonzola. The dressing was delicious though and the half portion was huge! Enough for us to split and still have leftover. And the pasta was delicious and came with tons of chicken - this was by far my favorite dish and I'm excited have some of the chicken as leftovers. :)The cost was pretty pricey for the food - we both felt like the restaurant was very cute but gave a bit of a commercial vibe. Maybe it was the amount of options and the spiral bound menu, but the restaurant had a nice ambience! Just wish it wasn't quite as expensive.

my boyfriend and i were craving italian and i had no idea there was a rosti in brentwood! i have walked past the montana ave location a million times but never gone, but when i saw there was one even closer to me we figured we would try. the inside is very nice and gives an upscale italian diner sort of feel. we started out with the mussels which were phenomenal, the sauce was so good that we held onto it after to dip our bread into! we also got the grilled artichoke which was also very very good. my favorite was the rigatoni ragu--we both ate it so fast because it was just that good. our last dish was the GCOP pizza was incredible!!!! overall a very solid meal with a lovely ambiance and great service.

I walked here with my friend since it's so close by for some pizza. The service was great and the mushroom pizza with caramelized onions delicious. Our server even grabbed us some mushroom soup so we can sample it. So nice of her and it was delicious!

Visited our son at UCLA and this was nearby. The restaurant was located in a small plaza and the decor seemed a bit forced and did not feel quaint at all. We did order the roasted egg plant and asparagus appetizer which was really well done, however the meal did go down after that. The oso buco was a bit tough and lacked flavor, the arribiata was a bit too acidic and the added sausage was burnt. We also felt rushed as we were the last patrons to be at the restaurant, even though we arrived an hour before closing. The waitress was friendly but overall, we were a bit disappointed in the Brentwood establishment.

Charming and cozy late lunch on a rainy day was made better by the excellent service and delicious food. Parking in back was easy. My sister wanted gluten-free pasta as she had just arrived at LAX and wanted to be kind to her stomach. I wasn't so sure as we were going to share each other's entrees and sides. The pasta was so tasty I even forgot it was gluten-free! I ate a lot of their crusty bread and indulged with real butter, so I felt a little better that I didn't eat gluten in my pasta as well. We had Prosecco splits because we were celebrating our reunion. Our server sensed we were going to talk a lot and managed to visit us in between subjects/bites. I always appreciate an experienced server. I ordered the vegan mushroom soup to start which was very flavorful. We had a Caesar salad which was bright in flavor and nicely chilled. The romaine lettuce was in good shape, too. I found their dressing to be light enough not to overpower the salad, which was great since we didn't want to OD on richness before our entrees arrived. My sis was a bit tired and I was driving so we opted for sparkling water and then a nice decaf after our meals. We ordered the broccoli side because it is just perfect. The chocolate cake and tiramisu are both good dessert choices. I was so happy to see my sister I just lived in the moment and only took one photo through the window. But the presentations were on-point and the whole experience was really nice. We didn't feel rushed at all and were able to dine between lunch and dinner without it feeling awkward. I guess what I'd recommend is to go with the simple dishes at first then build from there since I haven't tried too much on the menu. I did have their arugula salad and pepperoni pizza at the Calabasas location. Both of those items were memorable to the point that I wanted to go back shortly after I discovered the small restaurant chain.

Love Rosti! It never fails. Such a good place when you can't figure out where you want to go but you want a nice casual meal. Unfortunately their prices have shot up, just like everything else in LA!

We had the best experience at Rosti! We were a group of 6 celebrating our friend's birthday, and everything was just perfect! The food was delicious, and the portions were just the perfect size. The mozzarella sticks were especially yummy, and all the pastas were satiating. The tiramisu was authentic and not too creamy. Apart from the lovely food and ambiance, the service was the best! Bella was the sweetest and made our experience comfortable and memorable. Our friend got a tiramisu with a candle and a celebration on the house which was the perfect end to our night. Overall, Rosti was a lovely place to visit as a group and has given us cherishable memories.

I live nearby and so want this to be a regular local spot. Their menu is vast, healthy-ish, and I've liked everything I've had so far. Their chicken marsala with potatoes is a favorite. But I've never had a great experience here. I've been twice this month (and twice more last summer) and every time the service has always been downright bad. Servers are unfriendly and bored. Food and drinks and to-go packing are brought by multiple people who don't engage. Two nights ago the only words our server said to us were "Are you ready to order?" She didn't greet us or say hello (another woman did that) and she never checked up on us after our food was brought out. But when she presented us with the check via a digital card reader, she pre-selected a 30% tip for herself. I changed it to 20% but she didn't deserve even that. The other issue is the noise! The acoustics are terrible! You can't hear the people at your table but you can hear everyone else, even when it's not busy. The loud guy at the bar and the attention-seeking girl four tables away. There was a woman dining next to me with earbuds in and I don't blame her. I really want to love this place, but I can't see myself returning, especially when there are so many nice, quiet Italian spots in Brentwood with good service.

Although the service was excellent, the food was beyond sub par. I've never had eggplant parmigiana I didn't like, until I ate here. The brick chicken was clearly reheated chicken, dry and unappealing. The steak was overcooked and the side dishes were marginal, at best. In a neighborhood with at least 4 excellent Italian restaurants, I can't imagine why anyone would choose to return to Rosti, except perhaps to have drinks on their patio.
