Risky Business

I consider this my "home" bar, even though I'm not a typical "regular". At least not as much in recent years. It just always feels like home to me! Amazing decor inside and always a fun vibe. Drinks here are always well above average and I know they take extra care on coming up with recipes for specialty drinks. Pricing is fair and service is swift! I recently tried the "LA Tea" and it was amazing.Parking can be a little tricky in this neighborhood.

We came last night 10/23 and it was our first time here or ever hearing about this place- just kinda searched around for cool bars and found this spot. The bartender was super nice I'm so sorry I forgot his name (Andy??) but we gave you glow stick bracelets and told you we just got engaged. We really enjoyed stopping here after a lame night at the haunted hayride (no alcohol there wtf!!). So thank you for making our night and we just wanted to say we had a great time! We hope to come back soon and play some pool! Also shoutout to Balthazar the taxidermy baboon.

I love the beer list here so much. Always diverse. Something great for every taste. I can always count on this place for amazing hazy IPAs rare sours me that you've never had anywhere and the list goes on and on.

Not just the best local bar in North Hollywood, but also one of the very best in the greater LA area.

I love this bar. So much so that I'm tempted not to tell you about it. It's low-key and friendly, with a great beer list, and I don't even really like beer but I had this really great hibiscus sour last week and I gotta get that again. So I'm worried that if you and all your friends find out how great it is, then all of your friends will tell all their friends, and then they'll tell all their friends... you see where this is going. And then it'll stop feeling low-key and friendly. But seriously, check it out.

This bar is such a vibe! I emailed them about reserving a spot in the bar for my birthday and they were extremely accommodating. It was free to reserve the alcove behind the photobooth and they even made a cute laminated sign with my name! The spot itself was private and very fun. I would definitely come back!

My favorite neighborhood bar! My favorite is their Absinthe selection, and presentation. They also have a great beer list, and a wide variety on their spirits shelves. Their events are also a lot of fun! Great people, great ambiance, the vibe inside is immaculate. I love that they are always playing movies in black and white around the bar. Can't wait to see some shows there soon!

Fun times! This place is very cool. Although they only had 1 bartender on a busy Saturday night, it was a really great spot. Lots of interesting decor that makes the bar have a very old-timey feel. The attention to detail to the decor is what gets me really excited about this place. Plus my date got mead out of a glass horn and they make absinth the old fashion way with a whole system set up to drip onto a sugar cube. Overall they were a great spot for a friends birthday + friend group! Make sure to go through the photo booth and checkout the little hidden area in there.

Great drinks!!! Also like the ambience, it's a cozy place with outdoor seating. Did I mention how good the drinks are??

Always a great time with a solid atmosphere and great cocktails, everything from spirits to absynth, really craft stuff. The staff is always friendly and the service definitely ranks very high.Andrew the bartender does a great job all the time. One night we do love is OBELISK at Risky Business, always a fun time!
