I had a wonderful, delicious meal and experience at your restaurant this past Tuesday. It was my first time and it did not disappoint. DJ was our server and he took great care of us. I was quick to ask about the most popular or highly recommended item on the menu other than oysters. He recommended the lobster roll. It was one of the most flavorful I have ever tasted. If you ever have a chance to go, please do not hesitate to. I cannot wait to return soon!

I've been wanting to come here for a few years now and finally got the chance after an event at The Row. Came here on a busy Saturday evening with some friends and was immediately seated outside on the patio, which had heaters going. I can't speak too much on the inside, but the ambiance outside was super cute with lights and the background view of The Row.Got the steak aguachile as my main and shared truffle fries with the table. The fries were amazing and the steak aguachile was delightful! It definitely had a good kick and the flavors were magnificent. While it was a main dish, I was very surprised at how large the portion was! Definitely something you could split with another person or two. My only gripe was that it was mostly cucumbers and onions atop the steak. Made it flavorful and very refreshing, but the amount of cucumbers and onions was a bit overwhelming -- could definitely just used about half. Still, it was super tasty and just what I needed!Service was excellent as the staff regularly checked up on our table but wasn't overly hovering or rushing. Our server (whose name escapes me) was wonderful and friendly. Parking was super easy at The Row parking garage and the restaurant validates. Definitely want to come back and try their seafood, especially their oysters.Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Well, I had high expectations for this spot given that it shares a high-rent area that has a 2-star Michelin restaurant and some of the best thin crust pizza in So Cal. But unfortunately, the food turned out to be rather pedestrian at best.On a positive note, service was terrific and menu is varied enough to make you think for a bit. But the plates I got were just lacking.Ordered the following:- Raw Rappahannock oysters - 7/10: on the sweeter and less briney side as they should taste. But....these weren't shucked properly. Lots of pieces still stuck to the shell unfortunately, and I had to work a bit to get all of it. Poor me! Definitely downgraded from what should've been a 9.- Fried oyster tacos - 6.5/10: 3 per plate. Presentation was nice, slaw topping was good, but I got way more batter than oysters. I thought it might've just been one of the tacos, but all of them lacked the main ingredient: oysters! Also paired with your super average shoestring fries.- Sausage and clams - 5/10: pasta was chewy, flavors were super flat, and there's barely enough sausage in this plate (tiny, bacon-bit size) that really shouldn't merit putting it in the name of the dish. Really disappointing.Price point is pretty up there, but it's seafood and it's expected. However, I just couldn't help but feel a little shorted here. Anyway.

If you're looking for a decent bite with a great ambiance try this spot. The food was delicious and drinks were great. The customer service didn't blow my socks off. They were kind and attentive. Over all pretty good first time visit. Next time I'll explore the menu and maybe try the seafood and oysters.

I had a great time here for lunch. I love the decor and outdoor seating for this restaurant. It draws you in when you walk by. I had incredible service by DJ. He was hilarious and we did not have to wait long for anything. His suggestions were spot on for everything. So, when it came down to trying a few sauces or other things I was not sure of, I listened and ultimately was happy I did. I cannot recommend the oyster po boy enough. It was SO GOOD.

This place is in a weird spot downtown LA but turns out to be a great place. It's just south of Japan Town on Alameda... not safe but once you're in this multi-use compound, you're sheltered. Food: all the savory foods like, lobster rolls, lobster tacos, lobster benedicts are all really good. The oysters were great. Fresh, briny and bright. Desserts... needs a bit of work. But that's not why you come here. The food cart seen 50 yards away was playing super loud music so that killed the vibe. But overall really good. All lobster dishes were tasty and cooked correctly. Service is unhurried. I will be back. Brunch for 4 with 3 drinks and 2 desserts and 20% tip was 255$.

I will fallow the suggested list... The food is amazing and delicious.... I'm totally going back again because of the food !!!!! The service was good. I really enjoyed the restaurant. It's really comfortable and everything was nice and clean. . We had the lobster mac & cheese, the shrimp quesadilla . 4 raw oysters, and 4 baked oysters... and the ceviche . Totally delicious,,,,definitely five stars when it comes to the food..The prices are reasonable, especially for the portions they serve... yes it's a little expensive but I think it's worth it. I'm completely honest when i write/post a review,,,, the only issue I had with this restaurant, was the a fly was constantly bothering us .,and the staff seen us trying to swatting it away. But did nothing.... That was disappointing... Besides that , like I said the food was great.

Rappahannock Oyster Bar at The ROW in DTLA is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, the ambiance sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. We got fresh oysters, Peruvian ceviche, and shrimp popcorn. The oysters are incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Thai sauce enhances the flavor of the oysters. Just go easy on horseradish coz it can overpower the mild and savory taste of the oyster Shrimp popcorn is lovely! It's crispy, and flavorful. The Peruvian ceviche is so good! The fresh seafood creates a flavor explosion on the palate. The sauce is light and it complements the freshness of the seafood. The ceviche sits on crispy plantains and the mild taste of sweet potatoes provides a balance to the overall texture in your mouth. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they check our experience from time to time. They also gave us generous lemon slices upon our request (thank you). Will definitely be coming back here. Highly recommended!

Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing and not worth the price. Unfortunately, the food lacked seasoning, and the seafood did not seem fresh. Overall, it left a negative impression.Additionally, we found a hair in our food, but we chose not to mention it. However, when we informed the manager that my daughter's shrimp was bad, he dismissed our concern, insisting that it was fine. We found this response unprofessional and would have appreciated a more considerate approach. Based on this experience, we do not plan to return.
